About: I’ve taken care of lizards and dogs. I’ve trained my own dog, and he has been canine good citizen certified. My dog gets along well with other dogs but in the event of an issue I have pens and crates to separate animals with consent. I currently provide time to walk my dog each morning, afternoon and night with play time during the day as I work from home. I am very flexible. 2-3 walks daily, with play time or training once to burn energy. My complex has a dog park which I utilize about once a week

About: I have a lot of experience working with a reactive and anxious rescue pit-bull mix…my sweet baby girl, Abby!! It’s been a process but she’s made huge strides! So I’m quite familiar with having to be extremely vigilant on walks, training treats on hand, knowing when to cross the street to avoid triggers…etc. I fostered an adorable blue nose pitbull puppy! I house trained him and worked with him for a year. That was one of the hardest things I ever had to do…let that handsome boy go to his forever home! I also had a dog when I was growing up. The only way we were going o get her was if I was willing to take most of the care of her and I happily obliged! I was also the pet sitter in the neighborhood. I love all dogs! I’m currently not working so I have quite an open schedule! I’ve been a teacher for 21 years and I’m taking a break to do what I love…spending time with my girl, Abby, volunteering at Save-A-Pet, and helping people out by walking their dogs! I’m not able to have pets in my home because Abby doesn’t get along well with other dogs. I’m happy to do whatever a client wants me to do with their pet! I live a very active lifestyle, so if your pet needs to go for a few miles run not a problem! Also happy to just give scratches and make your pet feel comfortable while you’re away!

They always have the run of the house or yard ,plus lots of toys and comfy couches to nap on. I can take care of them for as little or as long as needed. I do this full time so your pet always has company. I take in a small number of dogs so each one gets very spoiled. They get plenty of exercise and play time. Super loving and smart boy who completed our family We just adopted another family member, a 3 month Cavalier puppy that loves absolutely everyone and everything. About my yard I have a medium size fenced-in yard with a doggy pool for those hot days. My experience administering medication I have experience in oral meds and injections as well. Iv been a pet caregiver for over 25 years. My husband and I do this full time , so we are home majority of the day. The latest I get off will be 6pm from that position but will frequently have days throughout the week I have off or a half day where I get off around noon. Currently I live in a townhouse that is over 1400 square feet and plenty of area to play inside. Outside of that I have a small backyard that connects to the neighbors but in front of my unit a large green space for the dogs to play in. As well as, sidewalks for taking long walks. Outside of my home, entering a clients I always make sure to enter with caution and have the pet come to me first as I am entering their space. I try to be respectful as possible and make sure to lock up and secure anything needed prior to leaving.
