About: I have hands-on experience working in a veterinary hospital, giving me experience caring for dogs and cats with a variety of needs. I am comfortable with feeding, medications, monitoring behavior, and providing individualized care. I understand how important it is to follow each pet’s routine. I’m especially passionate about making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate a variety of pet care needs throughout the week. I am generally available Monday through Friday outside of my work hours, and I have additional flexibility on Saturdays and Sundays. I typically work around 9 AM–5 PM on weekends, but I’m still available for evening and overnight care. I may also have occasional work on Thursdays, but I will always communicate my availability clearly and make sure I can give your pets the time and attention they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My veterinary experience has taught me the importance of paying attention to changes in behavior, following care instructions carefully, and creating a calm environment for pets. I will treat your home with respect, follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and keep you updated so you can feel confident that your pets are safe and well cared for.

About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life. I’m the friend people trust to take care of their dogs/cats while they go away. I’m adjustable to different breeds and needs. I will give them the attention and love they’re used to. I love going on walks so I will be just as excited to go! About: Hi, I actually go by Asher but Rover won't let me update my name yet. I'm a former direct support professional for disabled humans. Lydia was my first dog, a 75 pound shepherd mix with anxiety that I slowly trained because she came from living in a shelter her entire life. I know what it's like to worry about leaving your pet in a kennel where they can pick up diseases or pests, and they have dozens of animals to look after. In my home your pet would have their own space, be taken for walks regularly, and be given much more attention than at a kennel. Animals need attention in order to thrive, but sometimes busy lives make it hard to give all they deserve. Hiring help is the best way to meet their needs while you're taking care of the other parts of your life. March 2025 note: I am only able to do walks and drop ins at this time. My dog only accompanies me when prearranged with the owner's permission. I work overnights thurs-sat and have sun-weds free to do Rover care. Early mornings and evenings are best for me. I typically walk about 25k steps a day and can lift over 200lbs, so that carrying my 90lb dog in an emergency isn't an issue. This makes me ideal for large and giant pet owners, especially those with senior dogs. I have experience with senior and disabled pets. I've never hesitated to put an animal first when it's in distress, but my ideal is to help prevent your pets from ever becoming distressed in the first place. Have experience with high anxiety, reactive, and shy animals.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. (my soul dog’s ashes are in my paw tattoo 🐾🩷) I grew up with Rottweilers and currently have two of my own, Gino & Haus, they're my whole world! I also have a handful of kitties🥰 My passion for animal care goes back as far as I can remember. From baby videos of me crawling on my dog and giving him a big hug & kiss, to completing a veterinary training class in 10th grade, where I learned the basics of animal health and handling! There even was one time I rescued two dogs on the side of the highway who had dug out of their backyard!! I now have about 3.5 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including two years at doggy daycares, where I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I treat every pet like they're my own and I always try my best to give them a safe, loving, reliable person they can trust just as much as they trust you, no matter how long it takes them to warm up to me. Working with animals is more than just a job to me—it's what I love, and I plan to make it my lifelong career. I am almost always able to stay overnight for house sitting, and depending on my work schedule, I can spend all day, all morning, or all afternoon and evening with your baby. I always try to spend as much time as I can with your baby. (leaving work is as hard as you can imagine) My most common shift is 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, though I can also work morning, afternoon, and split shifts, though the weekday morning shifts are extremely rare. My weekday shifts are never longer than 6.5 hours, and the only time I may be away for up to 10 hours is on the occasional Saturday when I'm scheduled for a longer shift. On Sundays, I usually work split shifts, which means I'm able to come home and spend about 2½ hours with your pet between work periods. If it's a good fit for your baby and you're comfortable with it (and comfortable paying for it😅), I'd also be happy to talk about bringing them with me to my work so they can enjoy extra socialization, enrichment, and attention, while never leaving my side! I'm committed to keeping your babies routine as normal as possible and will always communicate my schedule ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect!! Your babies safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. I love to take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and other special needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, as if you haven’t even left! I am experienced in administering medications, following food schedules, and providing extremely gentle and personal care. Walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll always make sure your baby gets plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and affection (and making sure they know it!!) while I keep their routine as normal and consistent as I possibly can! I treat every pet as if they were my own, and pay close attention to their behavior so I can quickly notice and respond accordingly with any changes or concerns. You will also always get regular updates and photos about how they were and their day!

About: I have 3 pets of my own that I love so so much (2 cats and a dog). I have always cared for my neighbors pets as they have relied on me for the past few years every now and then. I have experience with both cats and dogs and have been pet sitting locally for 3 or 4 years now. I am comfortable with walking, feeding, and bathing pets. Hopefully you can rely on me to look after your pets this summer! I am currently in college at Duquesne University and am looking for some extra work this summer. I am looking to start work at a daycare part time but not until later so I thought this opportunity would be perfect. I will have plenty of free time until then to look after your pets! I have 2 cats and a dog who are my baby’s. I do not do boarding in my own home due to a temperament issue of our younger cat, but gladly will visit your fur baby’s and care for them that way! I am very trustworthy and can communicate well if there are any issues. I know some animals have dietary restrictions and such and will make sure to follow any instructions of care necessary.

About: I've been a dog owner for 16 years. I currently have a sweet German Shepherd puppy and in the past I've had a German Shepard, a boxer/lab mix and a full boxer. My family and I are also on the go a lot, so I understand needing help with the dogs when you're out of town. I'm excited to help take care of your fur baby while you're taking time away! I work full-time from home with a relatively flexible schedule. I am available to stop in the mornings and afternoons to let your pups out or to feed them. Evenings vary, but just ask and I'll see if I can make it work! I am unable to care for pets at my home at this time, but I am happy to follow any instructions you may have for caring for your pet at your home.

She has happily shared her space with smaller dogs and special-needs pets, and all interactions are always supervised to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I work during the week for about 6–8 hours a day, and outside of that time my life revolves around walks, fresh air, playtime, and creating a calm, loving home. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule, and I’m intentional about making sure every pet in my care gets plenty of attention, affection, and consistency. I treat every pet like they’re my own—learning their quirks, honoring their routines, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, backyard playtime, or quiet companionship, I’m happy to meet them right where they are. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can truly relax. My home includes a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play, and I supervise pets closely throughout the day. I also have a few pup gates to ensure safe calm and private pet feedings or if quiet time is needed. I also use cameras for added peace of mind and awareness while I am out and about.
