“The best place for my pup! She always has such an amazing time and it is so clear what a fun and loving environment Rachell has. She is my go-to sitter and is so easy to work with.”

“Haley is great! She sent me pictures and messages of lily every day! She is very responsive! She was always sending me updates. I recommend her 100%. I will be happy to have her again to take care of lily🥰”

“It was expensive, but I felt like my dogs received good care and lots of attention. Laura sent me lots of pictures which made me feel confident that my dogs were happy and well taken care of.”

About: Honestly I love taking care of animals. I have a few of my own. Salem (cat) and Oscar (pup) Salem is very laid back and so friendly it’s insane. And Oscar being a puppy loves being around anyone and any pet. I currently work full time M-F but please know I will always make time for your fur babies. I’m usually available after 5pm on weekdays and I’m always available on weekends. I do not have a fenced in yard unfortunately but I do have a big grass area behind my house. We have a dog park we can go to nearby if permitted by owner
“Tim was such an answered prayer! Our petsitter had to cancel last minute and he was so willing to step in and was patient and flexible with all of our questions. Both of our dogs told us they had a blast at his dog parks and playing with Oliver his sweet dog. I really appreciated the extra time he took to send pics and videos as well as deliver them back home to help us out since we were running late getting home due to weather and holiday traffic. Rusty and Daisy give Tim two paws up and we do too! We hope to get lucky enough to have him watch our dogs again in the near future!”

“Sherry was great! She was very kind, easy to communicate with, and kept us updated with pictures throughout the stay. Our dog instantly loved being there, I could tell he was very well taken care of.”

“Jennifer was a fabulous host for our cat Ferguson. We got lots of photos and he clearly got lots of playtime. He didn't even want to leave when we came to get him and she only had him for 3 nights! Will definitely use again. Thank you!!”

“We did a trial weekend with Beth, just a little sleepover for both of our pups. One of our dogs is very nervous around new people and has a lot of anxiety when put in new situations. Beth kept me updated with pictures and messages about how she was improving and making strides at being around them! Beth and her family are just the best. She will be our go to sitter for both our pups in the future! ❤️”

“Sonja treated our dog so well I'm surprised he wanted to come home. She sent pictures while we were away of their trip to a park, snuggles, playing, chewing on a bone, and looking very happy. We are happy to have such a high-quality dog sitter!”

“Laura was so great to work with, and took such great care of our girl! She sent photos to keep us updated, and communicated extremely well. We will definitely be reaching back out to her next time we are in need of dogsitting services!”

“Awesome....does more need to be said lol...always kept me updated and responded to my messages and my pup had a blast he got plenty of attention and lovins...he can't wait to go back ?”
“Jenna is amazing, She sent me pictures and updates on my baby.So I would always know that he was in good hands and when I picked him up.I don't think he wanted to come home.He wanted to stay!! Lol. We'll definitely rebook with her!”

“Our pups had a blast with Anthony and Sophia! They were so welcoming with Scud who can be a little shy and both dogs came home happy and tired from all the play time. Anthony and Sophia texted updates everyday and were flexible with the drop off and pickup. We will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Paula is truly the best! She cared for my senior pup as if she was her own and always went above and beyond. I never had to worry, Bella was always in great hands. I’m so thankful I found Paula during my time in St. Louis. We’ll miss her so much!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Imperial
Laura is such a blessing! This was our first time having to be away from our sweet boy and Laura made the whole thing so easy and really put us at ease. The pictures and videos really helped ensure us that all was going well. Laura is going to be our go to sitter from now on. She is amazing!

I am so grateful to have found Annie and her family to watch Bernie. They took such good care of my dog. He had a nice big yard to explore and run laps with their dogs. He had fun playing with the family as well. I was kept well informed regularly with messages/photos on how he was doing and what he was busy doing. No question that I would reach out to them again if needed. They did a great job!!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
