About: Hey there! My name is Emily and I am a recent grad who has moved back to the area. I have always been an animal lover, and during grad school, I was able to broaden my animal care experiences! I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! Rest assured, when I care for your pets, Gemma will NOT be present. I was an avid foster and volunteer while in grad school for organizations such as Big Paws of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Animal Services, and Best Friends Resource Center. We have had fosters of a variety of ages and breeds. Additionally, I spent most of my Saturdays at the local farmers market with an adoptable shelter pup working on socialization and leash skills with fellow volunteers. Lastly, before moving, I was also a part-time employee at a pet resort that offered daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Hereto, I was able to care for even more dogs (and even some cats!). I am passionate about animal care and would love to take care of your pets, whether it be for walks, check-ins, or house sitting. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. “We have always had family watch our dogs, so I was very apprehensive allowing a stranger to stay in our home, but Ronny was exactly who we needed this weekend to watch my two boxers. With one being a senior and one an 11 month old, they have very different needs. Ronny got to know them both individually and how they play together, and was patient enough to take the puppy on a few walks! I only asked for one walk a day for the older one, but he walked BOTH of them several times a day! The videos, pictures, descriptions of what they were doing and how they were acting was more than I asked for, and so appreciated this busy weekend. I was able to relax and focus on the wedding of my only child and knew my fur babies were having a wonderful stay-cation at home with Ronny! I'm surprised they were excited to see me and my husband walk through the door today, because I'm pretty sure they were hoping for fun "Uncle Ronny" instead! I would 100% recommend Ronny for a multiple dog, large breed house stay. He cleaned up and left no trace he had been here...not even trash in the trashcan! He even brought in a large wedding gift that was delivered in our absence & rolled in our trashcans from pick up! He went above and beyond and I can't recommend him enough!!”

We grew up with dogs and other animals including cats, fish, hamsters, and lizards. We have watched many friend/family and coworker’s pets and have multiple returning clients from Rover. We have experience with dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, fish, and lizards. We also have some dog training skills, as well as experience with special needs animals, and are also willing to help with other needs you may have (house sitting ) including getting the mail, watering plants, etc. We would love to help you with your pet/pets and we are dependable and reliable. I am available M-F and also most weekends as well. I will try to accommodate your requests and be as flexible as possible. I am home as I am retired and will work with you to accommodate your needs. I can do drop ins/walks as needed. I love to play and cuddle with animals and am active, and can take your pet on a hike, out to play, or just give them love and attention. as well as help with light cleaning up in your house or chores, Trash,mail,water plants etc.
