About: I’ll probably remember your dog’s name before I remember yours. It’s nothing personal. I’ve had animals most of my life and currently have three dogs and a cat. I’ve raised puppies, cared for senior pets, given medications, and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. One of my own dogs is dog reactive, so I’m also used to watching body language, managing triggers, and giving dogs the space they need. Mostly, I just really love animals. I go to the National Dog Show every year and visit local shelters in my free time. I’m not allowed to foster anymore because that’s how I kept ending up with more pets of my own. I have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, so I’m often available for same-day or last-minute visits too. I know plans change, and I’m happy to help when I can. I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. It’s easy for me to step away for a walk or drop-in, and I’m often available on short notice. Whether you’re stuck in a late meeting, heading out for date night, or just need someone to check in during a long day away, I can usually work a visit into my schedule. Plus, I’m always happy for an excuse to get away from my desk and hang out with an animal for a while. I’m big on safety and following your pet’s normal routine. One of my own dogs is reactive, so I’m used to paying attention to body language, managing separate spaces, checking doors and gates, and being aware of our surroundings on walks. Because my mom was allergic, I couldn't have one in my house growing up, so around age 10 I started going to my neighbor's house daily just to spend time with their Golden Retriever, Ginger. I played with her, trained her, and we even entered a local dog show together. That early experience gave me a lifelong passion for giving dogs the active, fulfilling lives they deserve. For years, neighbors, friends, and coworkers have trusted me to care for, walk, and sit their dogs. All instructions for anything whether it be for your household or for your pet that are given to me will always be followed through with. Also, when your dog is on a walk with me, I can guarantee their safety. I have walked so many dogs in my life, and I know that there is never a moment during a walk where safety isn’t the number one priority, with fun being second of course. Lastly, if I am caring for your pet in at your place of residence, I will always be respectful and safe.

About: I have experience caring for my family’s two beautiful Australian Shepherds, each with a personality completely their own! First, there’s Coco—also known as “Loco Coco.” She is incredibly sweet, very anxious, smart as hell, and somehow equally goofy. Caring for Coco has taught me the importance of patience, reassurance, and understanding that every dog experiences the world differently. Then there’s Ember. She’ll growl when you pet her… and then growl when you stop petting her! She can be misunderstood and a little moodier, but she is also incredibly loyal and loving in her own unique way. Ember has taught me to respect boundaries, understand body language, and recognize that affection doesn’t always look the same for every dog. Having experience with two very different temperaments has helped me become patient, understanding, and adaptable when caring for animals. I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! Rest assured, when I care for your pets, Gemma will NOT be present. I was an avid foster and volunteer while in grad school for organizations such as Big Paws of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Animal Services, and Best Friends Resource Center. We have had fosters of a variety of ages and breeds. Additionally, I spent most of my Saturdays at the local farmers market with an adoptable shelter pup working on socialization and leash skills with fellow volunteers. Lastly, before moving, I was also a part-time employee at a pet resort that offered daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Hereto, I was able to care for even more dogs (and even some cats!).
