“Wonderful experience ! Denise responded within minutes to my last minute request for pet care. She came by the day after we chatted online for a meet and greet. She was going to try and make a same day meet and greet ! The meet and greet left me relieved ! I knew we found that someone who we can trust to care for our cat, Arya. Denise communicated in great detail with us at every visit which made our get away more enjoyable. We knew that Arya ate and went potty as normal etc .. Our cat is shy and hides when people visit. She doesn’t come out until they leave. It became apparent that shy Arya was comfortable with Denise. We got lots of pictures of her playing with multiple favorite toys and looking happy ! It was clear from the photos that Denise took the time to connect with Arya. Each picture made us more relaxed and sooo happy ! Last minute we decided to stay another day but we had to check with Denise and her schedule etc.. She didn’t hesitate when I asked her .. she added another day of visits so that we could stay the extra day. I later found out that it was her birthday weekend too ! One last note … Denise checked in with us to make sure that we made it home safely from our trip, no doubt certain that Arya wasn’t left without care and that we were safe. I will never use another care giver for our cat in the future and I will refer her to as many people as I can.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is, my enthusiasm to get all of your animals outside having as much fun as we possibly can! I have been taking care of my own dogs for the past 4 years. Including giving medication, nail trimmings and everything else that comes along with being a pet parent! About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. There were always multiple cats and dogs in my home growing up. My husband, three children (15,13,11) and myself love pets and have take care of family and friends' pets quite often, including bunnies and chickens! We had a large labradoodle with special needs in the past and currently have another large labradoodle. I am comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and with giving meds as needed. My kids are always up for a snuggle also! I am a homeschool, stay at home mom of 3. Now that my children are older and more independent my schedule is rather flexible. We are active and walk often and can do school anywhere! Sometimes it would be just me but at times my children (15,13,11) would accompany me as well. We have a fenced in dog run which is very secure. If I am coming to your home I will follow any and all guidelines you have to make sure your pet is safe and happy and loved while you are away.

About: I attended the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus. There I attended the Veterinary Science class for 4 years. I did job shadowing at a veterinary clinic for 8 hours which was such a great experience . I am comfortable with different breeds and sizes. I have the knowledge on certain breeds. My classroom had a program called Doggy Daycare where we made sure the dogs had their walks, bathroom breaks and playtime as well as have them properly fed while their parents were away. I know basic grooming techniques like for example: nail clipping, coat brushing, ear cleaning and teeth cleaning. I am also comfortable with administering vaccines and oral medication. I’m familiar with tick and flea medications. I am able to work with dogs that have special diets. My main job is to make sure your dog(s) are well taken care of and to let the owner know that they don’t have to worry about your dog(s) while being away from them. About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs, I was the kid who wanted to meet every pet I came across, and that passion has only grown into adulthood. Along with having my own two dogs and cat, I've spent years caring for the pets of friends and family, treating each one as if they were my own. I also worked as a stablehand at a local farm, where I cared for a wide variety of animals—including cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, goats, cows, and even swans. I've also volunteered with dog walking programs in the city, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. As a pet owner myself, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved companion with someone new. That's why my goal is to provide the same love, patience, and attention that I would want for my own pets. I believe communication, reliability, and attention to detail are incredibly important when caring for animals, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and routine. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cozy couch cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Caring for animals has always been more than a job to me—it's something I truly enjoy, and I would love to help you! Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work a typical 9–5 during the week and have some flexibility for evening visits, but I primarily focus on pet care on weekends. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet and provide reliable, attentive care while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they're able to stick to their normal routine, so I always do my best to follow each owner's instructions and provide care that's tailored to their pet's needs. Whether I'm stopping by for visits, going on walks, or caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll keep up with feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and of course provide plenty of attention and updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I've been dog walking and pet-sitting since 12 years old and have always had interest in caring for animals. As an adult, I have been employed at SPCA working with dogs and cats of all sizes and status, and currently work as a veterinary receptionist. I love and care for every animal that comes into my care, and would be thrilled to meet your pets! I am available for dog-walking and drop-ins throughout the week with all-day availability Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I do not currently offer in-home day care or overnight sits. I would want to keep your pets as comfortable as possible in their own space, providing them with love and care and guiding them through their daily schedules.

“Dolly and her three boys took exceptional care of Parker. She has three boys and a large fencing backyard that allowed him to play amd explore in a safe environment. When we arrived, parker was immediately snatched up by her by one of her two younger sons who promptly began playing with him, pampering him and loving him. Dolly said her sons even “argued” over whose bed he would sleep in. Parker came back a happy camper and made three great buddies along the way. Additionally, Dolly kept constant contact with me and sent pictures over the course of the two days. I would highly recommend this wonderful family to look after your pet whenever you need someone to watch them.”
