“Wonderful experience ! Denise responded within minutes to my last minute request for pet care. She came by the day after we chatted online for a meet and greet. She was going to try and make a same day meet and greet ! The meet and greet left me relieved ! I knew we found that someone who we can trust to care for our cat, Arya. Denise communicated in great detail with us at every visit which made our get away more enjoyable. We knew that Arya ate and went potty as normal etc .. Our cat is shy and hides when people visit. She doesn’t come out until they leave. It became apparent that shy Arya was comfortable with Denise. We got lots of pictures of her playing with multiple favorite toys and looking happy ! It was clear from the photos that Denise took the time to connect with Arya. Each picture made us more relaxed and sooo happy ! Last minute we decided to stay another day but we had to check with Denise and her schedule etc.. She didn’t hesitate when I asked her .. she added another day of visits so that we could stay the extra day. I later found out that it was her birthday weekend too ! One last note … Denise checked in with us to make sure that we made it home safely from our trip, no doubt certain that Arya wasn’t left without care and that we were safe. I will never use another care giver for our cat in the future and I will refer her to as many people as I can.”

About: I’ve been taking care of friends and loved one’s cats for over 6 years and now have three of my own. About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. There were always multiple cats and dogs in my home growing up. My husband, three children (15,13,11) and myself love pets and have take care of family and friends' pets quite often, including bunnies and chickens! We had a large labradoodle with special needs in the past and currently have another large labradoodle. I am comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and with giving meds as needed. My kids are always up for a snuggle also! I am a homeschool, stay at home mom of 3. Now that my children are older and more independent my schedule is rather flexible. We are active and walk often and can do school anywhere! Sometimes it would be just me but at times my children (15,13,11) would accompany me as well. About: My family and I love animals and have toe dogs and two cats of our own. I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12. I’ve watched friends and neighbors pets at their homes and kept them at ours. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can walk during the day and before and after work as well. I am able to housesit too because I can work from anywhere. I have two friendly dogs and we have an underground electric fence. We can take them out on leashes or if comfortable with the electric fence we use that as well.

Full time soldier. I am able to take pets out 3-4 times a day during the weekend. I work Monday-Friday I’m off on the weekends. On weekends we go on a ride to the dog parks in the truck. Big dogs in the bed in a seat belt harness small dogs inside the cabin. Pets are kept in crate/room when I’m not home. Willing to accommodate to whatever is needed. Take dogs on walks check for ticks after walks and play time outside. I have invisible fence around the house and multiple collars for dogs.

About: I attended the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus. There I attended the Veterinary Science class for 4 years. I did job shadowing at a veterinary clinic for 8 hours which was such a great experience . I am comfortable with different breeds and sizes. I have the knowledge on certain breeds. My classroom had a program called Doggy Daycare where we made sure the dogs had their walks, bathroom breaks and playtime as well as have them properly fed while their parents were away. I know basic grooming techniques like for example: nail clipping, coat brushing, ear cleaning and teeth cleaning. I am also comfortable with administering vaccines and oral medication. I’m familiar with tick and flea medications. I am able to work with dogs that have special diets. My main job is to make sure your dog(s) are well taken care of and to let the owner know that they don’t have to worry about your dog(s) while being away from them. About: I have been caring for my own pet since I was 5 years old which was my first dog, a Cocker Spaniel mix named Slider. My love for animals has always been very strong and even at a young age I assumed all the roles for taking care of my pets such as feeding, bathing, trimming, and giving medication. My passion in life is to help whether that be adults, children, or animals. My hope is that with this opportunity I can help both pet owners and their beloved furry family members. My favorite things to do are being outside and running which works out well for being a dog-walker. I have professionally pet sit for my family and friends in their homes. About: Active duty Army Soldier. I understand last minute things. Patience with pets, they are part of the family. Every dog is different. I can train any dog any size. I have 2 kids who love dogs they help me take care of the dogs. Private areas to separate dogs if needed. My dog is 12 and he is super chill he is more interested in humans than other dogs. Full time soldier. I am able to take pets out 3-4 times a day during the weekend. I work Monday-Friday I’m off on the weekends. On weekends we go on a ride to the dog parks in the truck. Big dogs in the bed in a seat belt harness small dogs inside the cabin. Pets are kept in crate/room when I’m not home. Willing to accommodate to whatever is needed. Take dogs on walks check for ticks after walks and play time outside. I have invisible fence around the house and multiple collars for dogs.
“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”
