“Lauren goes above and beyond to take care of your pets. She is responsible, timely, and communicative. When an issue arose while I was away Lauren took it upon herself to solve it. She made me feel at ease while being away from my kitties because I knew she would not only make sure they got their medicine, but that they received pets and love. I almost want to gatekeep her because she is THAT good.”

“I can’t recommend Sarah enough! She was absolutely wonderful with my pit mix—super attentive, caring, and clearly has a natural way with animals. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. Will definitely be booking her again!”

“Harrison watched my puppy over the course of 3 drop ins. He communicated every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure my Rikku was okay. He responded to all my requests and was extremely helpful. I plan to book him again in the near future.”

“Thanks Lori for your wonderful care of Bowie over the Holidays, I know Bowie loves your visits and care you provide Bowie, he is so happy to see you each time you come to care for him”

“I couldn’t be more thrilled with the care my dogs received from Sarah! Sarah is reliable, kind, and truly loves animals. She provides excellent drop-in visits, making sure to play and give my dog lots of attention. My dog was calm and happy when I returned, and I could tell Sarah had made them feel comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend!”

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats from a very young age and always had a deep love for animals. I’ve had puppies, kittens, senior cats and dogs and cats with special medical needs. I’m currently working full time however I am available early mornings before work, afternoons after work, evenings, overnights and weekends. I have plenty availability to do what I love during non work hours I’ll stick to your routine from walks, meals, and medication if needed. I’ll make sure the litter box is scooped and clean, and that the water and food bowls are clean for all animals. I’ll snuggle and play with the animals and give them love, affection and attention to ensure they are happy and at ease. I always follow directions so if you leave a detailed list it will be followed.

“Emma is an incredible cat sitter! From the moment I met her, I felt completely confident leaving our cats in her care. She took the time to get to know their personalities and routines. Emma kept us updated with messages and photos, which we loved. It's clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. We're so grateful to have found her and will absolutely be booking her again. Highly recommend!”

“Hali has been a life saver. So grateful for her. She took pics and kept me up to date with her visits. Loved the pictures. She is compassionate towards the animals. Will definitely use her again”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs, and my parents instilled in me to care care of them as young as 7. I have my own pets now, and I also sometimes foster rescue dogs for an organization. I typically have a slow introduction for any newcomer so they can get used to the household smells and sounds in a private room without being overloaded with the house residents. I've had elderly dogs before, so I can administer oral or ear medicine, diapers, and shots. I work fulltime, but I work from home two days a week. In addition to the days I'm working in office, I'm usually gone for about 7.5 hours. All dogs go outside around 6 am regardless of the day for first potty and food. I'm usually free on weekends. The only weekend is I play Dungeons and Dragon for about 3-5 hours on alternating Thursdays and Saturdays starting in June. I have a mix of crated dogs and uncrated dogs. All of my dogs are crate trained, but depending on the size of the dog, I will keep smaller dogs out with pee pads so they don't have to hold it the entire day. I have a few rooms baby gated so all uncrated dogs can't get into things they shouldn't. I also have two Ring Cameras on both my front door and side door to keep an eye out for intruders.

About: I will understand your dog's needs and take the time to make sure they are comfortable. I have experience with reactive, aggressive, and shy dogs with varieties of needs. I have 3 border collies, my daily routine is dogs. Training, playing, and adventuring is what we do. Every day has basics that need to be met, but also beyond that. My dogs get their needed play and attention in my small fenced yard daily as well as a different daily activity, from swimming to homemade dog gym time, there's always something different and fun.

About: With years of hands-on experience in pet care, I offer a comprehensive range of services to keep your pets happy, healthy, and well-cared-for. From administering medications to taking your dog on long walks or runs, I ensure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I also provide playtime, baths, and basic grooming like nail trimming or fur maintenance. Whether it's a quick visit or an overnight stay, I’m committed to giving your furry friend the best care, tailored to their individual needs. I’m available 3-4 days a week for regular pet care and walks and on my days off, I’m free all day to spend time with your dogs. If overnight stays are needed, I’m always available in the evening to keep your pets company. Since I have a small home, I prefer to care for your pets in their own familiar environment where they feel most comfortable and secure. I personally own a 4-year-old Mini Schnauzer named Mochi—he’s the best! He’s friendly and gets along great with other dogs, so your pets will have a buddy to play with. I’ll provide them with lots of love, attention, and treats, and ensure they’re safe and happy while you’re away. I personaly like being left with instructions so that your dog won’t stray away from their routine.

“Kaitlyn has watched Fin and Liv twice and she has been EXCELLENT with communication, pictures, and just overall helping us with we're away. She even lowered the windows during torrential rain!”

“Sandra was so sweet and efficient! Also, she communicates very well. Apollo looked so happy and comfy after his drop in. Can’t wait to have her drop in the future :)”

“Rachel was great! She was on time each day and really helped me out when I wasn’t able to handle some of the cat chores myself. She’s very polite and has a great personality. We would absolutely have her care for our cat again and would recommend her to others!”

About: Hello there! My name is Shlomo. Our family of six live in NE Philadelphia. We love all animals. We have rescued a dog Stanley. He is labrador mix. He is best dog we ever had. Not aggressive and very polite to any size of dog. We will take care of your dog like we care with our own animals. Our 4 kids love to play with all kinds of animals. We have a big fenced yard and there's lots of room to play fetch. Also we have a field outside of our property, so we can walk with your dog as well in the field. And of course, many pictures and videos of your furry companion will be sent! We have lots of love to give your pet and taking them on fun walks. If you have any other kinds of questions, feel free to contact me. Our kids are home schooling, so the can play a lot with your fur buddy! We are doing this around 4 years, so we have a big experience. We have fenced yard, where your dog will exercise, run and play with one of us. For so many years of our experience we never had any issue.

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, primarily cats but dogs and fish as well. Most other animals I put extensive research into the care of when considering owning them, and I would be more than happy to use that knowledge to give your animals the best care possible. I am currently working on continuing my education, so having a way to cover my bills that allows me a flexible schedule doing something I love seemed the perfect fit. Raising my own cat, Tabitha, from a kitten to be a very social, outgoing, sweet girl who loves going for harness walks has left me with a healthy appreciation of how well it works if you treat an animal with respect and expect the same. That being said, house rules come first, and I will make sure to enforce them in your absence.

Huntingdon Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
I cannot say enough great things about Emily! This was our first time booking with her and everything was seamless. She came for a meet and greet with our crew about a month ahead, and we communicated a few days before her sitting. Pictures and notes were posted daily. Even when I occasionally didn’t have cell service, no worries. Emily treated our pets like family, which allowed us to relax 😎
