“Lauren goes above and beyond to take care of your pets. She is responsible, timely, and communicative. When an issue arose while I was away Lauren took it upon herself to solve it. She made me feel at ease while being away from my kitties because I knew she would not only make sure they got their medicine, but that they received pets and love. I almost want to gatekeep her because she is THAT good.”

About: Ever since i was a baby, animals have been a part of my life. My parents bought a dog just a few months before i was born, so it has always been natural to me to have a dog by side. My 1st job I started for myself at 10 years old was my own dog walking service, and I would have easily done it for free! As an adult i have always had a cat and a dog in my home and I am currently the dog dad to 1 furry friend and I am currently working on obtaining my dog behaviorist license My schedule is flexible to accommodate those whose work life doesn't allow them to give their pet the optimal care and attention they would like to I have a fenced in yard and easy access to the outside. My neighborhood has ample natural space to allow for walking play time and training

“Alyssa was wonderful with Fenwick! She fed him, walked him and played ball with him. He was happy in her care while I was gone all day. She was totally dependable. Also very flexible and willing.”

“First time using Rover and Julie. Julie arrived on time and followed my detailed instructions to a tee. My door keypad lock let me know when Julie had arrived and we communicated several times via text. She gave my cat his expected afternoon treat and she spent time with him in addition to food, water and litter. I will definitely use her again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”

About: Hi, my name’s Matt and I have been taking care of various kinds of animals since I was 12. Fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons, dogs, and cats. You name it we’ve most likely had it. I’ll make sure your animals are loved for and have a blast while you’re gone. I can work with young puppies and senior dogs as well. Please reach out to me to inquire about availability and to set up a meet and greet. I will also send lots of pictures and updates. I currently have availability from Friday to Sunday. I can be available by Friday afternoons if given at least a weeks notice and can stay until Sunday night or early Monday morning. I currently have two cats and a dog. Nani is my dog and she has a fence for the backyard but I can also take her out for walks or out on a leash if needed. I feed her once a day with dry and wet food. I also give her baths and clean up her poop in the yard. The two cats are indoor cats and I play with them, clean their litter boxes, change their water, and feed them.

About: I’ve always been around animals my entire life. I’ve also help walked my neighbors dog and also also had my own dog. I also have fed and bathe dogs/cats before. Using me as a walker will insured you that I will treat your pet like my own family. I’m currently available every day with a very flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I’m working to build pet care into my full-time routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals and helping families feel supported and stress-free while they’re away. Pet care is something I take seriously, and I’m ready to commit to it long-term. Since I only offer drop-in visits and dog walking, I always make sure your pet feels safe and respected in their own familiar space. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, potty breaks, and routines. I’m mindful of locking doors, cleaning up after pets, and creating a calm, stress-free atmosphere during each visit.

Not aggressive and very polite to any size of dog. We will take care of your dog like we care with our own animals. Our 4 kids love to play with all kinds of animals. And of course, many pictures and videos of your furry companion will be sent! We have lots of love to give your pet and taking them on fun walks. If you have any other kinds of questions, feel free to contact me. Our kids are home schooling, so the can play a lot with your fur buddy! For so many years of our experience we never had any issue.

About: I have personal experience caring for high-needs dogs, especially breeds like English Bulldogs with breathing issues. I’m also comfortable supporting senior dogs and cats, providing them with the gentle, attentive care they need. On the flip side, I love spending time with active pups who thrive on long walks and playtime. Whether your pet needs extra patience, energy, or specialized care—I’m here to help them feel safe, loved, and at home. I'm a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh currently studying for the LSAT, which allows me a very flexible schedule. Since I set my own study hours, I’m able to provide consistent, reliable, and attentive care for pets throughout the week—including weekdays, weekends, and even last-minute bookings. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I love having animals around as a comforting, energizing part of my day. I believe pets feel safest and happiest in their own environment, so I aim to provide comforting, attentive care in the client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, from feeding and walks to playtime and quiet time, to ensure they feel secure and at ease while their family is away. I always respect the client’s space, maintain a calm, clean environment, and give pets the same level of love and attention they’re used to.

About: Hi, my name is Meghan! I’m a board certified veterinary technician, and I currently work as a veterinary nurse at a dog/cat only hospital. I have been in the veterinary field for 2 years. I previously worked at a dog daycare, and I was a dog and cat pet sitter in my neighborhood while in school. I enjoy working with different breeds and personalities. Additionally, I am confident in medication administration, and I have experience with special needs furry friends. I have a german shepherd and tabby cat of my own. My passion has always been caring for animals, so I will ensure the best care for your fur baby! I currently work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnight. I am usually available at any time from Monday to Thursday. Being that I work 3 12 hour night shifts, I am not available at all on weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am available to pet sit at your home. I will follow instructions that are given to me and respect your home as if it were my own.

Huntingdon Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Melinda was thoughtful and attentive to my senior dog on her drop in visit and provided updates and a photo too! She carefully followed my instructions and I felt confident that my pup was in excellent hands.

I cannot say enough great things about Emily! This was our first time booking with her and everything was seamless. She came for a meet and greet with our crew about a month ahead, and we communicated a few days before her sitting. Pictures and notes were posted daily. Even when I occasionally didn’t have cell service, no worries. Emily treated our pets like family, which allowed us to relax 😎
