“Rebecca and her family did an outstanding job with our pups!! We had an amazing stress and worry free vacation knowing that they were in GREAT hands!! All of our dogs warmed up to them very quickly, and they were very loving toward our babies !! Their communication is incredible and they took great care of our home, this gave us the confidence and assurance we needed to know that we will definitely be booking them!! Highly Highly Highly recommend booking with Rebecca and her family !! 👏🏾”

About: Hello! My name is Khara and I am a physician assistant who also has a love for animals. I have always had a passion for animals, but volunteering at my local animal shelter and having pets of my own doesn’t quite fill that void! I would describe myself as punctual, reliable, and an optimistic person overall. I have 10 years of dog sitting/watching/walking experience. Growing up I had one chocolate lab and I currently have one boxer/lab mix, as well as three cats. I have open availability. Let me know timing you need during the week and/or weekend. Just message me and I’ll ensure to make time for your pet :) I go on many walks alone, so I would be glad to take your fur baby with me! Hanging at home and playing inside is my favorite is well.
About: ...this is the true religion-Buddha. My heart is whats different about me I lost my love of my life dog form miss Miah Soleil & tho no dogs can fill that space I miss them in my life. I have two gorgeous cats Endora & Dave so I do get my fill of kitty love thankfully. What i can offer you. I know you want them to be loved like if you were home. They will be. I will respect your home. I will listen to your needs of your animal. They will be paid attention to & played with. If you care enough to hire a sitter i know the importance of that soul in your life & Ill treat it accordingly. You have my word. Im involved in the arts so I have an open schedule. I'm mostly a homebody if not being creative or caring for your beautiful animals. The most important thing to do is follow directions, respect the home and animal, & also take time to make the pet comfortable with you & in their space.
“Jennifer had been great so far! We appreciate her flexible schedule and love the photos she sends us when she drops in to let our Siggy girl outside while we are at work!”

“Cassidy was amazing! She is super responsive and happened to be available for a last minute request to check on our golden! He looked so happy in all the sweet pictures that she shared during her visits! I would definitely recommend her and use her again! Thanks Cassidy!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 10. Whether it be my own or my neighbors. I love to take walks and I treat all dogs with love as if they were my own. I’m currently available for the summer due to the fact that I’m home from college! I can walk anytime of the day and I’ll update my availability frequently in case anything comes up:) When walking dogs I think it’s important to always have poop bags on hand out of respect for neighbors and such. I also love to spoil them with a little treat after as well!
“Delia was wonderful! Both our pups were well cared for while we were away for a week. Great communication, followed our instructions to a tee, I would highly recommend Delia and I will be using her sitting services again.”
“Lauren took great care of our cats, hamster, and fish and took great pictures during her stay. The cats look like they had a great time with her and we could rest easy during our vacation (:”

“Stephane is amazing! She took care of my Ollie so well, so many pictures and went above and beyond. I highly recommend her! Thank you Stephane making me feel like my baby was taken care of while I was out! You are the best!”

About: I’ve had dogs my life ever since I was a baby, I always would naturally gravitate towards animal's. As I got older I would pet sit for friends, family, and coworkers from time to time. The heaviest dog I’ve worked with is my 85lb husky named Freddy definitely a handful but very kind. I also love cat’s 4 years ago I got my very first cat named Carter and I love him to death. If there is anything else you would like to know about me please feel free to reach out. Currently I have no job, I just moved here from Columbus Ohio, I have plenty of time to watch/ take care of your lovely pets. I am available Sunday-Thursday from 11am-10pm I have a big home for my 2 huskies and my lovely 2 cats. I walk my 2 dogs till they have done their buissness and then some, I make sure they get plenty of attention and play, for the 2 kitties I make sure they have wet food , and dry food, as well as water, i also ensure the I play plenty with my cats. Everything I do for my pet’s I will do for your’s and then some.
“Paige was so easy to work with and took really good care of my two dogs. There was even an accident that she cleaned up. She kept me updated throughout my trip and followed my instructions as I asked.”

About: I am an animal lover with 3 golden retrievers of my own! I have been known to win over people-selective dogs and have even been compared to a young pup with my playful energy. Sure to provide your animals with the enrichment they crave (and wear me out too which my wife will appreciate)! I love to wake up with the sunrise and get early morning walks in as well as sunset walks! I am used to handling 3 rambunctious dogs so I have the energy and passion to care for animals all times of my week! Since I'm not boarding, every visit happens in your home, on your pet's turf so my top priority is keeping their routine as normal as possible while being a careful guest in your space. I follow feeding, medication, and walk schedules exactly as instructed, and I always double-check doors, gates, and locks before leaving so pets stay safe and secure. I treat your home the way I'd want mine treated which means lights off when I leave, mail/packages brought in, and everything left exactly as I found it. I have three golden retrievers of my own, so I'm comfortable reading a pet's body language and know how to keep things calm if a pet seems anxious without their owner around. You'll get photo or text updates from each visit so you always know your pet (and home) are in good hands.
“My cat requires a little extra care and handling since she is special needs, and Katrina was absolutely amazing with her! She sent me daily picture updates and successfully gave my cat her daily meds without any questions or issues. Katrina alleviated so much worry and anxiety for us while we were away by simply taking care of everything with such ease and reassurance. It can be very worrisome leaving my cat over the weekend or longer due to the medication and care that she requires. But peace of mind is a guarantee with Katrina, and I could not recommend her more!”

About: I’ve been around and caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets. I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities: from small to large, calm to energetic. Over the years, I’ve cared for many dogs for family and friends, whether that means playtime in the backyard, daily walks, feeding, or simply keeping them company. I’m comfortable handling dogs of any size on walks and have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs that require medication. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away, and that you have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to stop by throughout the day to walk, check on, feed, play with, and care for your pet whenever needed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I will follow any instructions you provide and keep you updated so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Cassidy did a great job taking care of our cats while we were out of town recently. Appreciate the engaging time she spent with them and sharing pics daily afterwards. We always felt the cats were cared for and safe. Thank you!”

“Delaney was awesome and easy to work with. She met me and my 2 dogs beforehand for a quick introduction and then was timely in checking in on them throughout the week. Good care and great communication. Will book again!”

- 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
