About: Hello! My name is Khara and I work in the medical field but also have a love for animals. I have always had a passion for animals, but having pets of my own doesn’t quite fill that void! I would describe myself as punctual, reliable, and an optimistic person overall. I have over 15 years of animal sitting/watching/walking experience. Growing up I had one chocolate lab and I currently have one boxer/lab mix, as well as two cats. I have open availability. Let me know timing you need during the week and/or weekend. Just message me and I’ll ensure to make time for your pet :) I go on many walks alone, so I would be glad to take your fur baby with me! Hanging at home and playing inside is my favorite is well.

“Nikki was so good!! My pup Lily was so exhausted after spending the day and her house. Nikki gave us constant updates and was super flexible as we needed a doggy sitter on short notice. We will definitely be repeat customers!”
About: I have truly never spent a single day of my life without a dog in my home, giving me a lifetime of deep, firsthand canine experience. From raising energetic puppies to comforting gentle seniors, I understand the unique languages, quirks, and emotional needs of dogs. This lifelong devotion means proper pet care is second nature to me; I instinctively know how to read body language, maintain comforting routines, and provide the exact balance of structured play and relaxing downtime. Currently, I am the proud parent of a gentle Cavapoo and a sweet Golden Retriever. Managing our own multi-dog household means your pup will step into an environment that is already highly experienced, structured, and completely optimized for their safety, happiness, and comfort. With my husband working from home and myself as a stay-at-home mom, our family is always around to provide constant love and supervision. Our daily routine completely revolves around the dogs. Your pup will seamlessly join our two friendly dogs for a day filled with continuous companionship. Between regular potty breaks, cozy indoor cuddle time, and endless, safe playtime in our fully fenced backyard, your dog will never be lonely and will be treated just like one of our own. Your pup’s safety and your peace of mind are my absolute top priorities. Our home is never empty, ensuring your dog will enjoy constant, 24/7 supervision and companionship. Our secure, fully fenced backyard sits in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, offering a peaceful environment free from stressful traffic or noise. We maintain a calm, highly organized household specifically tailored to the comfort of our own Cavapoo and Golden Retriever. We treat every guest dog with the exact same vigilance and love as our own, strictly following your specific feeding schedules, routine preferences, and house rules so you can relax knowing they are in the safest possible hands.

“Morgan and Matthew were amazing! We received so many wonderful photos of Rory throughout her stay with them and I knew she was in amazing hands. We will definitely be booking again with Morgan and Matthew in the near future”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life, they have always been a huge part of my family! I am a firm believer that all pet’s are family & deserve to be treated as such. I’ve always helped look after my neighbors pets when growing up & now that I’m an adult, I also look after my friends’ pets as well. If I could spend all day everyday just taking care of them, I absolutely would! I have three pups of my own & to say that they are spoiled rotten is an absolute understatement. Benelli is GSD/husky, who is neutered & will be 5 in June. Daisy is 2, not yet spayed & is a chow chow mix. Lena will be 1 in March & is pure GSD. All of my pups are trained & do not go into a crate. They are both fun, loving & outgoing beings & we would love for your baby/babies to come play with us sometime! I’m a stay at home mom & have a 1 year old daughter. She loves all furry friends, big & small! I’m new to staying at home so I’m excited to get back into pup sitting, doing something I genuinely love to do! I have a fenced in backyard for my pups to express their energy & get some good playtime in, throughout the day. I am quite generous with the treats in between feedings as well. My pups eat twice a day & I keep it as close to 12 hour intervals as possible. Typically being 7am for breakfast & 7pm for dinner. If I were to care for your pets in your home, I will alter my schedule to accommodate your pets needs to best of my ability!

I understand that each dog has its own personality and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while away from their owners. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through my own pets and by helping family and friends with theirs. “Sarah was so accommodating at the last minute! I was coming into town after a long drive to a bio dentist, and my Frenchie got very emotional and excited, which created wheezing and breathing issues. I realized that I could not leave him in the car. After trying various options and striking out, I messaged Sarah on rover and she got back within minutes, saying to bring Nugget over whenever I arrived in town. She allowed him to chill in a room alone for a few hours with his water and in his crate, then gave him a few walks. She cared for him so well for the nearly 5 hours I was away. I'm so grateful!”

About: I always took care of dogs for family and friends while they travel. We don’t have pets of our own currently, so know that your pet will get a lot of love from us. I am currently working from home and usually just leave the house to take my son to daycare and pick him up. I can take your dog out as many times needed for walks and bathroom breaks during the day. We live in a townhouse, with no fence. So we will always need to go out on a leash. I do have a 2 year son, so your pet needs to be good and/or used with kids. We don’t own any pets so you can rest assured they won’t have any problems with that.
“Here’s a polished review you can use: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Dog Sitter! I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received. From the very beginning, she was professional, reliable, and genuinely caring. My dog was comfortable, happy, and well cared for while we were at dinner, which gave me complete peace of mind. I appreciated the regular updates, photos, and communication throughout the stay. It was clear that my dog received plenty of attention and affection. I returned home to a relaxed and happy dog. I highly recommend Carla to anyone looking for trustworthy, loving care for their furry family member. I will definitely book with her again! 🐾💙”

“We were traveling through the area and had a 1/2 day trip that our pup could not come on with us. Luceny responded quickly to my inquiry and we are so glad she did. She loved on my pup and sent us plenty of pictures while we were gone. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter in the area!”

As of August 2026, there are 736 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Huger. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Huger commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 736 sitters in Huger, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
