“Morgan was great! She was on time and took great care of Roo. She didn’t hesitate to reach out with questions and provided awesome care for Roo. She was also very respectful with me and my home.”

“Madison took such excellent care of our kitty while we were gone. She is extremely communicative and flexible and followed the instructions we left behind. She also kindly adjusted her schedule when we needed an extra week of care. Our cat took to her immediately and got the TLC she needed. If you are looking for a responsible sitter, Madison is the way to go!”

“We had a great experience with Stephanie and will absolutely book with her again. Communication was excellent, we received regular updates, and it was clear our pets were well cared for while we were away. We really appreciate the care provided and look forward to booking again in the future.”

“Chris is amazing!! There was a raging storm when it was time to get our sweet boy out. Chris went way above and beyond. We had some packages that we were not expecting delivered . He brought them in and dried them off. Cleaned up an accident due to the storm by JT. Then dried up a very wet dog. We had a second visit to feed JT dinner and let him out. Chris brought up our trashcan from the curb. Which had flooded and is all uphill. We are so very grateful for the quality of care and thought given.”

“Iliana took great care of my cat while I was out of town! She made sure he had everything he needed and was easy to communicate with. I got updates every day, which gave me peace of mind. I'll be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my shihtzu since he was born. He is now 6! I also recently adopted a border collie mix! I love caring for animals and seeing them thrive and grow! I work hybrid so I have a lot of free time to care for my own pets these days, as well as for others pets. I have very friendly dogs that could play with your fur baby! I love to play with frisbees or various rope toys. I have water bowls, leashes, everything a pet may need.
About: 🐾 Lifelong Pet Lover | Rescue Dog & Cat Parent I’ve had pets my entire life and truly believe every animal deserves patience, love, and a safe environment. I’m currently a proud pet parent to a 1-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix whom I rescued from a difficult situation, along with two cats—one of whom I also rescued. I’ve personally crate-trained and potty-trained my dog, worked with her on basic skills and obedience, and helped her become comfortable and well-socialized around both people and other animals. Having rescue pets has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, understanding, and paying attention to each pet’s individual personality and needs. Your pets won’t just be “another booking” to me—I’ll treat them like family. ❤️ 🐾 Flexible Schedule | Plenty of Time for Your Pets My schedule is mainly open and flexible, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my day and give your pets the time and attention they deserve. The only regular time I reserve is Sunday mornings for church. ❤️ 🐾 How I Care for My Pets I keep my dog Reesie on a consistent feeding routine with unlimited fresh water. My cats also have unlimited food and water and are used to self-regulating their eating habits. We spend plenty of time together—whether we’re playing in the backyard, relaxing in the living room, or going on walks around my safe, quiet neighborhood. I believe pets thrive with consistency, attention, exercise, and lots of love. ❤️
About: I have experience with all kinds of pet care. From cats and dogs to chinchillas and bearded dragons. I am experience with medication and well as behavioral I work PRN at 2 nursing homes and I am in school for 13.5 hours a week! I do make my own schedule for the most part so providing adequate care has never been an issue. I am CPR and first aid certified, I am also fire/flood trained. I have been told I am a perfectionist and I do hyperfocus but since I am watching your pets that is a good thing!
“Kaydence was great and did a wonderful job with my girl Roxie! If you need a sitter who is punctual, does the "extra" things your pet needs to feel safe and comfortable, and is great at staying in touch about how your pet is doing, I would definitely recommend Kaydence!”

“Jaszmyn did great with our cat while we were out of state! Our cat is normally very skittish around strangers, but he warmed up to Jaszmyn on her first visit! She did everything we asked her to and sent us lots of pictures. We will definitely be asking Jaszmyn to watch our cat again for any future vacations we have. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have experience with dogs and cats at home and light volunteering at animal shelters. My six-year old blue heeler can attest that any hike with me will leave your canine exhaustedly happy. Whether I'm dropping in for a potty break or climbing up Baker's Mt, I will ensure your pet is safe, healthy and having a great time. I'm a student, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your animal! I'm most available on weekends and in late morning/afternoon during the week. I have a large yard with plenty of room to run with your dog and a 6-year-old blue heeler to keep 'em company. I am comfortable crating and following strict training with dogs.
“Heather was really sweet and took great care of my cat while I was out. Even though he was shy, she made sure he was fed and had a clean litter box. She messaged me every day to update me, which I really appreciated!”

About: My family has animals and I have spent 9 years helping take care of their dogs and two cats. I have two dogs of my own and I have trained them myself as well as knowing when they need space, fed, or walked. Currently i don't work so i am free any day and anytime to be able to watch your animal. Animals are my best friend and I know they are yours too! I feed my animals twice a day based on their needs. I walk my animals 4 times a day or 3 times day depending on the day. I also help my family with their animals and have been for 9 years

Patricia has a lovely, friendly personality. She took such great care of my kitties, stayed in touch every day to let me know how they were doing, and sent me photos. She will always be my first choice for a sitter for my cats. I highly recommend her to anyone else needing pet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hudson. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
