About: I have been in the pet industry for 15+ years including veterinary, retail and boarding. I also did house and pet sitting for a good friend of mine many times. I have worked in the petcare industry for more that 15 years. Most of it as a retail manager. I've done veterinary and boarding jobs also. I'm ready to basically become my own boss and do what I really love. I am still a part-time retail worker and full-time homemaker but would love to include your pets in my everyday activities! I have fur babies and scale babies of my own. This includes 1 dog, 3 cats, 2 tree frogs, 2 leopard geckos, 1 hamster and multiple fish. They are not only my hobby but part of my family. My dog and cats are allowed on furniture so they can cuddle with us.

About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. Caring for pets is my full time job! I am highly flexible and usually able to accommodate whatever you and your furbabies need. When house sitting, I will need to leave at least once a day to check in at my house, but otherwise your pets have my full attention. I want your pets to be safe and happy. I am willing to take on whatever routine you have established to make your time away as easy on your pets as possible. Safety and fun are my top priorities!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I have a cat currently and family members have always had dogs and cats. I volunteered at the Humane Society throughout high school and have lots of experience pet sitting! 😻 I also used to foster kittens which I loved doing. I love being around animals and caring for them. I am a student working part time, so that gives me plenty of free time to check in on your furry friends throughout the day, take them on walks, and spend the night with them! I am a trustworthy person who will respect your space as I would my own and leave it better than I found it. I have my EMT-b certification and am working currently as an RBT, so I have been through several background checks and first aid trainings. About: I have dog watched for my neighbors every time they leave for town for multiple weeks in a row. I was responsible for walking and feeding them as well as checking on them every hour. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m available any time of day, any day of the week—including weekends. I’m flexible and happy to work around your pet’s schedule to make sure they get the care and attention they need when you need it most. I will spend more than the minimum hours with your dog and make sure they are happy. I will play with them and run with them if needed. I will be respectful of your house and make sure everything stays organized and neat.

About: I've taken care of cats all my life and dogs from time to time. From back when I was a teen at home with our family cat to my own Tuxedo Kiwi I've been caring for cats all my life. I have a deep understanding of cat body language, respecting their boundaries, and providing the attention and care they need. I work from home as a software developer and am looking for something to break up my day between calls and project tasks. Being a remote worker means I don't get much excitement day to day. I would appreciate listing any medications that you animals may need and when those ought to be given to them. While I cannot provide my own home for your animals getaway, I would love to make your animals feel like they are not far from home while you're away. About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for nine years. I’ve also walked dogs at the Lynchburg Humane Society for years, and petsitted for and walked many others over the years. I’m available all summer thru mid August for pet walking/sitting. I’m very flexible due to my part-time work and am always open to last-minute requests! Working from home allows me the flexibility to give special attention or break for a walk any time of day! I am looking to assist you by taking your pup or pups for a dog walk late am to early afternoon. Usually available Tuesdays thru Thursdays. I will usually double leash on dog walks. About: As the daughter of a groomer, I have been around dogs since I was a child. I have seen a variety of different sizes and breeds over the years, and have experienced many different temperaments as well. I am a dog lover in all aspects, I have 5 dogs of my own, big and small, and they are my children. My goal is to provide you with relief and peace of mind that your dogs are in good hands as I have taken care of dogs since I was around 9 years old. I have experience administering medications, topical creams, and proper grooming (thanks Mom!) to many different dogs and understand that all are different and special in their own way! Additionally, I have worked on a farm on and off during my youth, so I have experience working with large animals and small animals and birds too! I am a college student studying at Virginia Tech, so pet care has always been my full time job during the summers! I do have a part time job right now, but my boss is knowledgeable of my passion for animals and allows me to create my work schedule around my animal schedule! I provide excellent care by providing what’s truly important in the pet care world: peace of mind. Leaving your dogs or cats with me would mean leaving them with someone who would love them, take them on hearty walks, wants to spend time with them, and give them all the pets and attention they could ask for during a stressful time when their owners were away.
