About: I’m a lifelong cat lover with 12+ years of hands-on experience caring for my own cat, who recently passed away after a wonderful life. While I’m not ready to adopt yet, I’d love to care for yours. I’ve fostered a shelter cat, cared for a friend’s cat for about a year during COVID, and have cat-sat for friends many times. I also have some experience with dogs through friends—walking them together, spending time at dog parks, and playing with them at home. I’m comfortable around dogs of different sizes and personalities. I work from home full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. Depending on your pet’s needs, I can easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine and ensure your cat receives consistent attention, companionship, and care. I live in a house with a calm, cat-friendly environment and understand that every cat has its own personality, routine, and comfort level. Whether your cat enjoys playtime and attention or prefers a quiet, predictable space, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay.

About: I have owned a few dogs, and have watched over many more! I love dogs and am looking forward to meeting new dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am currently working a part time job that is flexible. I am willing to do all tasks assigned from walking to feeding to bathing. I am friendly but will be serious when needed to properly care for the dog. The dog will always be the top priority. I will follow all instructions left by the owner, while also having fun with dog. I can take the dog on walks, to the park, and even swimming! I have a car to get whenever I need to be and I am always on time. While this will be an extra job for me I will be sure to treat it like my only job!

About: Honestly I love taking care of animals. I have a few of my own. Salem (cat) and Oscar (pup) Salem is very laid back and so friendly it’s insane. And Oscar being a puppy loves being around anyone and any pet. I currently work full time M-F but please know I will always make time for your fur babies. I’m usually available after 5pm on weekdays and I’m always available on weekends. I do not have a fenced in yard unfortunately but I do have a big grass area behind my house. We have a dog park we can go to nearby if permitted by owner

About: I’ll start with my experience, I have worked at a veterinary hospital, groomers, and doggy daycare! Currently working at a pet urgent care too so my hours may not work with you pets schedules. I know how to do basic first aid, any grooming, care for all types of animals, and I can notice different types of behavior changes. I will treat your lovely babies like they are my own. I currently own 4 dogs, all different ages and size. They are my babies for sure. I love to take them outside and get them running around and having fun when weather is nice. I can do walks for dogs. Can even go for hikes if you approve of it. I’m willing to work with anyone and there schedules as much as I can. I do like to offer grooming of any sort while they are in my care! If there are any other questions don’t be afraid to ask. I currently work full time at a pet urgent care. My hours are weird and as of right now my only off days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. My shifts are usually 8 hours but it can be longer as we don’t control emergencies. I will always care for your fur and not so furry babies as if they were my own! So I apologize if you return home and they are a little more spoiled than before! I always send pictures because who doesn’t want pictures of there happy babies while away! Will follow schedules and directions that you give to me to keep them in their daily routine to the best of my ability and schedule!

About: Hi my name is Steve and I have been a veterinary technician for the last 10 years! I am confident and very good in the pet care industry. I can bathe, cut nails, express analglands, etc. and of course love your family member like they were my own. I love caring for animals since I currently don't have any of my own. I do know what to do in case of an emergency. I know all the local 24 hour emergency vets in town. If you have any special requests I will more than likely be able to fullfill them. Please give me a shot! I have references from clients who came to the hospital I work at and I still watch their pets to this very day. Hope to hear from you soon!

About: I have been watching dogs through Rover for the past three years or so. I truly enjoyed having a dog around and decided to adopt one of my own. I enjoy taking dogs for walks, I check in on dogs, cats and birds in my neighborhood. And I would love to care for your dog for a few days in my own home or stop by yours so you can enjoy a vacation without having to worry about your fur baby. I currently work full time so weekends are best. However, I am a teacher and I will have more availability during spring break and the summer months. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am willing to take your dog for walks. I am home for most of the weekend and will be able to provide care and comfort for your dog. Sara was fantastic! I scheduled drop in visits around noon. She was on time, took pictures, exercised my big dog, communicated very well, responded fast, made sure food and water was full. Sara was super easy to work with and she fell in love with my sweet boy. I would absolutely recommend her. I will definitely use her again in the future.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in House Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in House Springs with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in House Springs. On Rover:

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
