“Kate did a wonderful job taking care of our two kitties. She was easy to communicate with, arrived on time and followed the instructions that I provided. I have marked her as one of my favorites in Rover.”

About: I’ve lived with pets (cats and dogs) since I was born, and I’ve been caring for them my entire adult life. In my spare time I am a volunteer at a local animal shelter. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, large dogs, small dogs, chill dogs, energetic dogs, and everything in between. I am comfortable with training techniques and understanding animal body language and cues. I am a teacher by trade, so I am very organized, dependable, and patient. I have a very open summer. There are some camp drop offs and pick ups I need to account for this summer, but outside of that, the days are wide open. At my house I have a dog friendly medium sized dog. I have a six foot fenced yard. I also have the capability to keep pets on different floors or in different areas if they need space or privacy. I know how to be respectful of other people’s homes and am very comfortable adapting to different pets’ needs, especially since volunteering at the shelter.

“Sonja was awesome with our cat! He is very social so I was worried about leaving him for 5 days but Sonja went above and beyond, she took such good care of him and had great communication, which put my mind at ease. 100% will be using her again in the future!”

“Elizabeth was fantastic! Very much appreciated her going the extra mile. She made sure to spend quality time with my cat, sent great photos, and grabbed my mail and packages. Would definitely recommend her to anyone for the reasons above and because of her extensive pet care background.”

“Mary is so wonderful! She always sends detailed messages when she pops in to feed and check up on my cat! She is super responsive and is very patient with my cat who takes a while to warm up to people. I highly recommend her!”

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always had a dog in the family! I currently have three rescues of my own and they are my babies! I have experience caring for small and large breed dogs. I’ve successfully potty trained my three pups as well as a few foster puppies so puppies are no problem. I also have experience walking all different kinds of shelter pups so I’m accustomed to learning new personalities and building trust. I spoil every fur baby as if they were my own and I hope I get to meet yours :) I am a registered nurse and am transitioning to teaching. After mid August I will be available weekends and typical school holidays ie. spring breaks, summer breaks etc. Depending on age and my schedule, I have created or designated an area ( i.e kitchen) for my pups during work hours etc. I know sometimes it may take a little bribery with a treat, but that’s no problem! Just let me know what your normal routine is and I’ll follow it. :)

About: Hello! My name is Steven Willard and I love animals. I have always had pets growing up as a child and I've continued to have pets into adulthood. I enjoy learning and understanding all different types of animals from dogs, cats, reptiles, and small pets. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends, and neighbors pets. My wife and I have 3 dogs, 2 old beagles (Ollie 12 years old and Henry 11 years old) and a 6 year old aussie/beagle mix named Kaylee. We walk them around our neighborhood on a regular basis and play with them in our yard. We have a 4 year old Siamese cat named Blitz and we recently had a bearded dragon who passed away. Having older dogs, I have had a lot of practice with giving dogs medication mostly in pill form. I've also had experience with puppies and kittens. I have a flexible schedule and will keep my calendar up to date with availability. I have a lot of weekend availability for walking and drop-ins. I am happy to walk and play with your pets. I have experience administering medication to older dogs and cats. I have a high attention to detail regarding my surroundings as I have runners that like to try and get out when the doors are open.

Sara M.
“I have known Sara for 25 years; she is one of the most hard-working, reliable, caring, and loving people I have ever met. ... and she loves dogs A LOT. Sara has devoted her life to caring for, raising, and supporting those in her charge. An exceptional high school teacher by day, she has also taught marching band, English, theater, and - of course - volunteers at a local animal shelter. She has proven herself invaluable to each, and she is in constant demand everywhere she works or helps. Sara spends her free time - when she has a moment - playing with Cosmo (her dog). Or petting Elise (the cat). Or watching dog videos. Or sharing dog videos. Or wishing she was walking dogs. Sara will treat your pet like her own, and I would trust her with my animals. Or my children. In fact, I do so! Highly recommended!!!”

“Paige was awesome with my 2 bully’s”

kendra w.
“Kendra is the most caring person when it comes to taking care of something. She takes care of not just her own pets, but others as well. She would be perfect for this job because she understands what it takes to take care of another’s pet, she understands what pets mean to others.”

Jean W.
“I have had Jean watch over my pets many times. She was always caring and attentive. When I was away, I knew they had the best care an attention. Here's an example of how much she cares for all animals and our pets. She was sitting for me, while I was away. During that time, the area around my house flooded. She would drive around for miles to find a route to my home. She would not rest until she was able to get to my pets. She kept me informed the entire time. You cant find that kind of dedication to service in many people. Without any reservations, I would HIGHLY recommend her for any pet service!”
