“Sara was fantastic! I scheduled drop in visits around noon. She was on time, took pictures, exercised my big dog, communicated very well, responded fast, made sure food and water was full. Sara was super easy to work with and she fell in love with my sweet boy. I would absolutely recommend her. I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Barbara was more than wonderful. We appreciated the meet and greet visit, as the cats were able to meet/see her prior to us being away. She was attentive to each cats needs and treated them as her own. We have one cat that has multiple pills and inhalers, and Barbara did an amazing job in giving the medication to our sweet boy. She really went above and beyond in making sure my babies were taken care of. Each visit we received multiple pictures and updates. We will definitely be booking with her again. There are not enough stars for Barbara!”

“Danny & Jennifer were amazing! I can not recommend them enough. From the daily updates, to our specific accommodations, to the care and love they showed our cats, I truly couldn’t be more grateful for these two! Leaving our cats in the hands of someone else is very stressful, but Danny and Jennifer made it so easy for us to not worry as we knew they were in the best hands possible!”

“Tiffany was wonderful with our two dogs and cat and gave great reports and photos. We will absolutely be using her in the future for more drop in visits when we’re out of town!”

“I love Kate! Very friendly and her communication is consistent. She constantly sent pictures and Bailey loved her. Definitely helped ease my nerves in leaving her behind. Will be using her again for sure.”

About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I also don't mind playing with rope toys. They might tear my arms off but hey! It builds character! I'm very easy-going and I feel like with dogs you have to have a great sense of humor and enjoy the trade in order to work with them. I hope you consider me for some of your services. I look forward to chatting with you over the phone, internet, or in person! Also, I have a sweet little Mitten cat (her name is Mittens). She's a blue tortoise cat with these little white Mitten paws. My father has a black Maltese poodle named Beau... The sweetest dog in the world. I used to live with him and we were the best of friends. We still are. But we just don't see each other as much. That's who you see me with in my photos. I have pretty much open availability. I am comfortable doing overnight visits and morning/afternoon/evening walks. I'm currently in the process of trying to build clientele so I'm more flexible now than I might be in the future. But my long-term goal is to make this a full time 8 hour day. The 8-hour schedule block will entirely depend upon demand though. Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. Whenever possible, I love to schedule a meet-and-greet before the booking begins. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, for your pet to become comfortable with me, and for me to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, quirks, medications, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. I firmly believe that in pet care, overcommunicating is always better than undercommunicating. I'd much rather ask one extra question than make an assumption, and you can expect prompt responses, regular photo and video updates, and complete transparency throughout your time away. While I would be comfortable offering boarding in the future, I currently choose not to because I share my home with a beloved cat. My decision isn't out of concern for her behavior—it's simply because I don't want to bring unfamiliar dogs into her space. By focusing exclusively on house sitting, I can give your pets individualized care in the environment where they feel safest and most at ease, while ensuring every animal in my care is comfortable, secure, and happy.
“Elizabeth was great! Responsive, professional and thoughtful, even when an unexpected challenge arose. Our cat was happy to see us come home, but we knew he had been well cared for while we were away. We absolutely recommend Elizabeth, and she will be our too choice for help in the future.”

“Melanie was quick to respond, super communicative, punctual, reliable, and kind. She worked with my trainer and myself to help my dog with their reactivity to strangers. Her willingness to help was much appreciated.”

“Diane is awesome! I have an English Golden Retriever who loves everyone and a Border Collie mix that is timid around people and doesn't like other dogs. Diane has a soft, caring voice. She's been gradually earning Penelopes trust coming weekly in order to prepare for a long vacation where she will be staying at our home. She loves on my fur kids, gives them treats, back scratches, goes outside with them. I feel very comfortable that she'll do a great job taking care of our 2 fur kids while we're on vacation. I highly recommend her for all your pets needs!”

“Brittany was so responsive, gave great updates, and truly gave me peace of mind while I was traveling. She completed two check-ins each day, and I was able to fully trust her in my home and with my pup. I will definitely use Brittany again!”

“Amber was amazing!! Our older pup had an issue while we were out of town that required a trip to the vet. Amber went above and beyond and kept us informed. She was very attentive and took excellent care of our dog. The vet was even impressed with her. We highly recommend Amber and hope to use her again in the future.”

“Perri took excellent care of our pups when we were away! Great communication, lots of photos, and our 3 dogs were spoiled with plenty of walks and play time. We highly recommend Perri!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
