Aaron did a marvelous job caring for our little cat! We are so thankful for him helping us while we were out of town. Aaron was very caring and thorough and did everything we asked for our little guy. We received a summary of their time together for each visit and soo many sweet pictures of our kitty! I highly recommend contacting Aaron for all your pet needs. We will absolutely be booking with him again. Thank you Aaron <3

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for years. As well as house sat for a friend who owns a farm, caring for her numerous animals. Hi! I currently work at 9 AM to 5 PM job and can make it home around 12 PM to 1 PM for a lunch break to take the dog to the bathroom and/or a walk. This would make it so the dog will go 4 hours between potty breaks. I have full availability on the weekends. I have a beautiful fenced in backyard with plenty of space for a dog to run around safely. We board dogs often and have puppy proofed it for safety.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years and have experience with dogs, cats, and senior pets. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets over the years. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, attentive, and treating every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just a calm companion, I’ll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I have flexibility to provide dependable care and attention throughout the week. Whether it’s drop-in visits, feeding, walks, playtime, or companionship, I focus on keeping pets comfortable and maintaining the routine they’re used to while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves patience, attention, and a safe environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, keep routines consistent, and make sure pets feel comfortable and secure while in my care. I treat every home with respect and provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident while they’re away.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10. This was the age that I started rescuing as well as trying to change the behavior of them. I have been asked by many family members and friends to take care and watch their dogs when they are out of town for a long period and even short. I am a college student and work two night shifts at the hospital a week so I have pretty open availability and am available when ever I ensure they the pet has enough food and fresh water. I also make sure there is nothing toxic or harmful they can get into as well and make sure they get enough play time in. I also make sure they are going to the bathroom regularly and also ensure they are well bathed and groomed.

About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!

About: When growing up, I grew up with at least 2 to 3 big dogs in the house, and I always enjoyed spending my days with them. Throughout college, I took care of my personal dog judge, after graduating I adopted two more, Maverick and Nala. My dogs are spoiled rotten to the point where I spoil them more than myself, you can expect your dogs to be given the same treatment maybe even a little better. Don’t tell my pups lol. my job gives me the flexibility to schedule around and make sure that I have the time and availability to take care of your fur babies. I’m fine waking up early in the mornings also going to bed late at night so I will always make time for them. Your dogs can expect lots of pets, walks, and playtime/socialization time! I deeply care for animals and will put their well fare above all else

About: I love dogs and cats. I grew up with both. I will treat your pet the way I would want mine to be treated with care, adoration and respect. I know that when you are away it can lead to increased stress for your animal and I will foster an environment that feels safe by maintaining their schedule and routines, enforcing boundaries and giving them the attention or space they need. I love a good snuggle, pet and long walk! I have experience with productive walk techniques to ensure your dog will get the most out of their walk. They'll feel better physically and mentally and have a greater sense of accomplishment and self-worth. I am happy to spend time with you to teach you the tools and techniques I use. Productive walks not only work wonders for your dog's mental health but can do the same for your enjoyment and bonding on a walk and can save your shoulders and knees from a dog who pulls. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Horseshoe Bend. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
