Atticus was great with taking care of our cats as well as being agreeable to taking care of non-pet related tasks such as taking out the garbage to the curb and bringing in packages. Atticus was communicative, agreeable to a meet and greet, and stuck to the care schedule. I would book with Atticus in the future and recommend others do the same.

This has provided us hands-on, real-life experience caring for animals through every stage of life—from playful puppies to gentle seniors. We understand that pets are family, and treat every animal in our care with the same patience, attentiveness, and love we give our own. What sets us apart from other sitters is our personal, individualized approach. We take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort needs so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. We’re calm, observant, and reliable, which helps us quickly recognize changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. Special Skills & Care Experience • Puppy care & basic training support (house-training routines, leash manners, positive reinforcement) • Senior pet care, including slower-paced walks, mobility assistance, and medication reminders (as instructed) • Experience with anxiety-prone or shy pets • Maintaining feeding schedules, exercise routines, and enrichment activities • Clear communication with pet parents, including regular updates and photos We believe trust, consistency, and kindness are the foundation of great pet care. Our goal is to provide an stress-free experience for both pets and their humans—so you can relax knowing your pet is in capable, loving hands. As stay-at-home pet parents, we have a flexible and consistent schedule that allows us to provide attentive, hands-on care throughout the day. We’re home most of the time, which means pets in our care are rarely left alone and can enjoy regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. This availability also allows us to closely monitor behavior, comfort, and routines, ensuring each pet receives personalized care and plenty of love and attention. Safety, trust, and comfort are our top priorities in every pet care setting. Whether caring for pets in our home or in a client’s home, we follow each pet’s routine closely to maintain a familiar and stress-free environment. We ensure all spaces are clean, secure, and free of hazards, and carefully supervise pets during play, feeding, and walks. We respect household rules, use leashes and safety protocols at all times, and monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health. Our goal is to create a calm, trustworthy environment where pets feel safe, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for years. As well as house sat for a friend who owns a farm, caring for her numerous animals. Hi! I currently work at 9 AM to 5 PM job and can make it home around 12 PM to 1 PM for a lunch break to take the dog to the bathroom and/or a walk. I am fully available on Fridays, as I work remotely. This would make it so the dog will go 4 hours between potty breaks Monday-Thursday. I have full availability on the weekends. I have a beautiful fenced in backyard with plenty of space for a dog to run around safely. We board dogs often and have puppy proofed it for safety.

Kelci is amazing! She kept me updated daily on how my babies were doing. The pictures were incredible. As they are both seniors, having someone who truly understands their needs was wonderful! She also went above and beyond keeping the house in order! I had a wonderful time away knowing they were in great hands!

About: Like many animal lovers, I raised cats and dogs the majority of my life. Even raised 9 pups from my own dog! I’d like to help take care of your pets with you. My previous work had me travel for 3 years so I understand how challenging it can be to have someone watch your pets. You wonder if they’ll be as nice, gentle, caring, and active as you are with them. (Or if your pet will pick them over you for being away so long!) I will be as, if not more, attentive to your pets while you are away. Like the title says - I’m a realtor! My schedule is open and most of my work can be done through my phone or laptop. I do go to the gym and can adjust my schedule to be morning or evening depending on your needs. Early start for my dogs! 5am walks to start their day along with clean bowls before every feeding! I use a filtered water system for them, but that’s also cleaned weekly. If your pets are like mine then all that hair is a bit messy. So, brushing is a must! They do like to get on the couch so vacuuming is a must too! No kennel for them. Just their own cots. As for bathing and grooming - as needed.

About: I have been dog sitting and taking care of dogs since i was a teenager. I adore animals especially dogs. Daily walks, making sure theyre fed and lots of cuddles❤️ I just graduated from boise state with a degree in psychology and currently working on my masters, so I am looking for something light and convenient that fits in my schedule (: I have a fenced backyard with a big grass area for dogs to run around in. I also have a super energetic golden retriever named Rookie who is very friendly with all dogs and loves to play. He goes on two walks a day (or he will be crazy) so daily walks are important for me! And of course lots of cuddles! (-:

About: For more than 40 years, I’ve loved and cared for dogs and cats of my own. After my last Boxer passed away in 2022, I found a new way to share that love by caring for—and spoiling—the pets of others. I’ve provided excellent pet- and housesitting services on TrustedHousesitters in the Boise area for the past year, earning 20 five-star reviews. Many of my sits have been with repeat hosts, which reflects the trust and dependable care I provide. My experience includes dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, fish, reptiles, and even beetles. Before moving to Boise, I spent 14 years fostering dogs and providing pet-sitting services in the Atlanta area. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to follow instructions carefully while providing plenty of attention, patience, playtime, and affection. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked as a project manager in the technology industry. As I transition into a more personally fulfilling career, I’m excited to devote more time to animals and give your pets the same thoughtful, reliable care I would want for my own. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and thoroughly spoiled while you’re away. I currently work full-time as a pet sitter, so caring for pets is my primary focus. I’m able to organize my schedule around each client’s needs and your pet’s established routine. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and overnight stays. I offer flexible availability throughout the day and night, including 24/7 overnight care, and I’ll work with you to create a dependable schedule that helps your pet feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I care for every pet as if they were my own, with a strong focus on safety, trust, and consistency. I carefully follow your instructions and make sure your pet’s individual needs, routines, feeding schedules, medications, and preferences are respected. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home, taking them on a walk, or enjoying outdoor exercise together, I remain attentive to their surroundings and comfort. I take safety precautions during every visit and activity so your pet can feel secure and relaxed in your absence. You can count on me to provide dependable, thoughtful care while treating your home and your pet with the same respect I would expect for my own.

About: Hi, My name is Meah! I’ve spent my entire life around animals as big as horses and as small as crickets. Currently I own and did most of the training for my 2 dogs named Luna (a white husky), and Gus (a chocolate lab/blood hound). I also have Heffley (a leopard gecko). In the past I’ve owned 2 basset hounds and 3 cats. My blood hound has medical needs due to having severe allergies and stomach issues, resulting in me now having experience in medicine administration, medicine injection, and dog first aid. I also spent a long time caring for my senior basset hound (princess) who had severe bone deformities and mobility issues. I’m currently working part time on a schedule that I can move around very easily to be available for your pets needs. Times after 4 pm can be challenging currently but can be worked around with proper notice and communication. :) I care for pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special care instructions. I am attentive, reliable, and committed to providing a safe, stress free experience for both pets and their owners while they are away. I also provide regular photo updates and reports so you can stay informed and have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 677 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Pearl. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pearl. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
