“We had a great experience with Lori. It was a last minute request and she was wonderful to work with. She watched our 7 month old Rottweiler, got her out and exercised everyday and sent us lots of pictures. Our pup seemed very well taken care of.”

“Tasha is wonderful! She took such great care of our dogs, and we’ll definitely use her again. She has a warm, caring presence, and her home feels just the same — with a great yard for the pups to play. We felt totally at ease leaving them with her. She kept us updated with pictures and even took them for a walk (with our okay first). Highly recommend!”

“Amy was very kind with my 13-year old dog sending me multiple pictures with details of his daily activities. I appreciated that she took him for regular walks. Amy was also timely with communications regarding drop off and pick up time changes. I will definitely use Rover again and have Amy take care of my dog in the future.”

“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! Thanks Lindsay!!!”

“Amanda is wonderful to work with. We felt so comfortable with our dog Rocco staying with her. Rocco is always loved and taken good care of. Thank you Amanda for keeping us updated and sending pictures.”

“Cannot say enough about our experience with Dayna S. She works tirelessly to ensure your beloved pet is pampered and secure with their temporary lodging. Dayna S sends daily updates and always responded to your texts. Dayna S takes valuable time to nurture a loving bond with your Pet. We are certainly confident that leaving our Hank with Dayna S ensures his health and wellbeing are always a top priority for Her.”

“Nalleli and her family are awesome! This was the second time they watched our sweet golden doodle and we had no hesitations with them- we know she was safe and well taken care of! Nalleli’s communication is also quick and she worked with us with our travel got delayed! We would highly recommended them!”

“Eric watched our two dogs at his house while we were away in Yellowstone for 10 days. He is exceptionally communicative and great with dogs. He watched my overly affectionate Cane Corso (many are very intimidated by her, but he wasn’t) and my high-anxiety German Pinscher. They both came home happy, clean, and well-cared for. I got adorable photos of their stay and wouldn’t hesitate to continue booking with Eric. Peace of mind while away is everything!”

“Tina has a great place to board our dog. In addition to a large space to run, there are chickens, turkeys, squirrels, and other critters to keep our dog's attention. Of course there is fencing to protect most of these distractions, but squirrels just seem to live in the trees.”

“Kayla took such good care of our dogs when we boarded them at her house! She sent photos every day and I got several updates on how they were doing while I was out of town. It made me feel much more comfortable leaving them with her family knowing they were taken care of and loved. We left them with Kayla and it happened to be over Halloween and she even got our little dog a costume and sent pictures (I'm one of those people so I loved it). I would HIGHLY recommend trusting Kayla with your dogs and we will definitely be using her services again!”

“Tyler has been great with our dog! This was our second time using Tyler and our dog was so excited to see him again. Tyler was willing to work with us when our travel plans got messed up. We are so grateful for his patience.”

“Couldn't have found a better person to watch my boy Cas. Susan took great care of him and gave him lots of attention. Her husband even played ball with him. Will definitely book again!!!!”

“Karin is such lovely lady, she takes care of our doggie very well and shared pictures with us daily. We just had two weeks boarding with her and my girl does does not wanna leave already. We will book with Karin again in the future.”

“Michael, Wendy and their sweet family were amazing with our Charlie! We joked that he might be disappointed to get picked up! It was wonderful to have such peace of mind knowing our puppers was in great hands.”

“Emily was wonderful! She provided photos, updates, and was very flexible with pickup/drop off times. It’s clear Emily loves animals and Beanie seemed to feel comfortable with her right away. Will definitely be reaching out in the future!”

“I was so pleased with how well my dog was cared for by Michelle. He stayed with her for 33 days and he felt right at home, even sleeping on her bed with the other dogs. I never worried once about his care and wellbeing. Michelle sent pictures and short videos of Finn every day or so. I will definitely be using Michelle in the future when Finn needs a place to stay! So happy I discovered the Rover website!”

“Allison and her family are the sweetest! Our pup came home happy and healthy. We got photo updates and regular check ins. We already have another boarding booked. 😊”

“Ashley, Charles and her wonderful family were the BEST!! This was the first time I had boarded my dog and it was an exceptional experience. They took great care of Ricky Ricardo and sent pictures and updates the entire time. I will use them again and Ricky can't wait to see Ashley, Charles and her family again! I highly recommend!”

“Jaid was awesome! She came over and took care of our little buddy, Sylvester, and from the pictures it looked like he had a blast! I would highly recommend Jaid for anyone who needs their cat cared for. She was very professional and fun at the same time. I couldn’t recommend her enough. 10/10 if not higher.”

“They are the so sweet to my Lucky! They went to pick her up and drop her off and was very punctual! They're very responsive and had kept me updated on my bunny!”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats of all ages! A few years ago, my friends cat gave birth to 7 kittens. It was a mad house! But so much fun. I would love to watch your kitty and give them lots of love!

About: I’ve done multiple pet sitting jobs , own my own dog and have been around animals my entire life . Pets are my fav and I am able to do care for all and any I’m currently working from home and can make pet care work . I’ve cared for 5 cats in one sitting and taken plenty of dogs for walks I have a fenced yard but it’s smaller so caring from then from your home would be best . I’m willing to stay and take them whenever

About: I've been a cat owner for over 20 years, and my cat is my world. I'm the cat owner who only gives my cat filtered water, cleans the litter box everyday, and lets her sleep right under the blanket with me. I understand the unique personalities, little quirks, and sometimes spicy energy that make cats so special. Every cat is different, and I believe the best care starts with taking the time to understand who they are. I approach each cat with patience and respect, giving them the space they need to feel comfortable and show me their personality. For some cats, that means lots of love, attention, and playtime right away. For others, it means quietly building trust and allowing them to warm up at their own pace. My goal is always to make your cat feel safe, respected, and cared for while you're away.

“Bianca is great. Very conscientious, mature, thoughtful, and communicative. Our cat Zeke liked her immediately, and they clearly bonded while we were away. She kept in touch, and left the house nicely cared for. Will definitely use her again if the occasion arises!”
About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!
“Kristi was a great. We needed someone immediately due to a sick family member in the hospital and Kristi came over and loved on our pups in our absence. She was a great help!”

“Michael and Wendy are great! They are experienced with dogs, have a giant yard, and a very welcoming environment. They have a dog who loves to play. We had a great experience with them.”

“Well all I can say is Jill is a godsend! I was referred to her by some neighbors in my community. My dog is a rescue and doesn’t have very much confidence or socialization . She said that was fine and she would work with him. Jill is very calm and definitely knows what she is truth dogs. She has a great fenced in backyard where he can run a play. Jill has two dogs of her own that Odin got a long with pretty darn quick. I would recommend Jill 100%. I’m so happy I found her ❤️”

“Amy was the best! Not only did she take such great care of my dog, she also went above and beyond to allow me to drop off a little early and pick up a little late. 10/10 experience with her!!”

“Amanda is amazing!! I’ve worked from home ever since I got my dog, so I had a lot of anxiety dropping her off all day somewhere with my new job being in an office. But Amanda took amazing care of my pup and it totally helped me feel at ease. She takes her on walks and sends lot of photos.”

“My family and I were visiting from out of state and wanted to go to the zoo so we needed last minute doggy daycare. DeHanna was so responsive when messaging. “Very easy to work with and she did everything to make our little one comfortable being at the sitters the first time. Truly wish she was in our area (we were traveling for this event) because we would absolutely use her again.”

About: 🐾 About Me Hi there! I’m Kayla, a lifelong animal lover with a big heart for animals. From energetic puppies to mellow seniors, I’ve cared for pets of all personalities and needs — and I treat every one of them like my own. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feedings, medication, or just a little extra TLC, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique routine and personality. You can count on me for: ✨ Reliable, on-time visits 🐶 Lots of love, attention & play 🐾 Updates with photos and messages 🐕 Experience with dogs, cats, and small animals Your pets deserve more than just basic care — they deserve comfort, companionship, and someone who genuinely enjoys being with them. That’s exactly what I provide. Let’s make sure your best friend gets the care (and cuddles) they deserve while you’re away! 💛 I currently work from home during the week and part time at a spa on the weekends. I have tons of free time and flexibility with my schedule. I have a full chain link fenced yard with doggy door access to the house. I also have the space to be able to accommodate crates if necessary.
About: I have cared for pets since I was 6 years old, started with a tabby cat named Tinker after Tinker Bell. Since then I’ve cared for multiple cats of my own (including litters), and 2 of the sweetest dogs until seniors. I also loved and cared for the cutest peach-faced love bird, named, but of course - Peaches. I believe animals were created for us to be reminded to enjoy each moment we are given. I also believe that they deserve the best care and love through excellent attention to health, play and grooming. I have a set schedule that I will stick to for the most part, with flexibility upon request. Occasionally I will travel as well with advance notice. I am happy to come to your home to care for, feed, groom and play with your pet. I am also happy to take your pet for a drive (depending on the animal) to parks or different locations for exercise and play, or grooming.
“Andi and Tim were awesome!! They met us with so much love, excitement and willingness to accept Rollie as her quirky self. Not only were they flexible but they sent me photos n messages to reassure me that Rollie was having the best time and in great hands while they got their dog fix haha. It was great and would 100% recommend them as well as love to book them again next time I’m in town.”

“Skye and Nolan are fantastic! They took great care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the stay. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved all the attention. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others!”

“Abraham and Alma were so great with our pups, they were welcoming and made them feel right at home. Our pups went for a walk and played nicely with the family and their dogs. We got clear and regular communications from Abraham, photos and updates which made us feel so comfortable leaving the pups with them.”

“Aura had an AMAZING time with Sarah and her family. Aura came home happy and tired which for a mini Aussie is quite an accomplishment! I hope to have Aura play with Sarah again.”

“My pup had a great time. She had just been to the vet and gotten stitches and Daniel followed the doctor's orders so she didn't have any further injury. She was happy to go there.”

About: Hi, I’m Hailey! I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was little—always rescuing, adopting, or begging my family to let me bring home every creature I found (yes, even bugs and fish!). Caring for animals is second nature to me, and I’d love the opportunity to give your pets the same love and attention I give my own. My home is full of love and energy. I have an 12 year-old son who is gentle, playful, and absolutely adores animals. I also have a sweet 4 year-old who keeps to herself and doesn’t interact much but loves watching the pets. Rest assured, your furry (or scaly🤪!) friends will be safe, spoiled, and treated like family here. I’m currently looking to do something I genuinely love—helping care for animals—while also earning a little extra to support my family. Your pets will be in loving, responsible hands. I can’t wait to meet them! During the summer, I have open availability, so your pets will have around-the-clock care and attention. I’m home all day and rarely leave except for quick errands. During the school year, I still offer boarding and daytime care—I work very close to home and always come back during lunch to check in. My schedule is flexible and I’m committed to making it work for you and your pets. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends. Just let me know when you need care, and I’ll do my best to help however I can. Your pets will be loved, spoiled, and safe here—just like family. We have a big fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, or just relax. I also have friendly dogs who love company, but if your pet prefers space or alone time, I’ll make sure their needs are fully respected. I can easily crate your dog if needed or wanted, but we’re big cuddlers over here and love letting animals sleep with us or on the couch with if that’s something your pet enjoys and that’s something you are okay with. :)

“This week was crazy for our family because we had to get our carpets replaced and the carpet schedule kept getting changed on us. Sam was totally understanding and was able to accommodate our changes. I felt horrible about all the changes and Sam was amazing, so kind and reassuring. He took great care of our doggo and sent pictures throughout her stay. Love that our dog has someone like Sam to take care of her! Thank you!”

“Michelle was great! She updated me throughout the day of how Doc was doing and had an amazing home. She had other sweet dogs he could play with and a large backyard. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Phedre has been amazing with our dog Millie. She’s done some drop in visits for us and watched her for the day currently and I feel so at peace knowing my dogs being taken care of so amazingly. We will absolutely be useing her again”

About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.
“Nikki took wonderful care of Tucker. She gave daily updates, pictures and videos and I could tell he had a great time during her visits. On top of that she was very flexible with her schedule and made some accommodations which were very helpful! Will definitely be using her again”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've always owned dogs, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and other high energy working breeds. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, dogs, cats, and just about every other animal you can think of. Along the way, I attended basic obedience classes with my own dogs where we learned clicker training and positive reinforcement techniques. Today, I have a German Shepherd and a cat of my own, and I know just how much our pets mean to us. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets over the years, and it has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I'm on Rover because spending time with animals simply makes me happy. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that trust lightly. When your pet is with me, I'll care for them the same way I care for my own, with patience, lots of love, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I own my own business, which gives me the flexibility to create my own schedule. Because of that, I'm rarely away for more than a few hours at a time, allowing me to provide attentive care and plenty of companionship for your pet. I'll always do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I am always the person worrying about my own pets and their unique needs when I'm away from the house. This means I will always follow your instructions and care for your pet in extreme detail. Making sure they're secured, have eaten, have plenty of water, ample exercise, any medications needed, and plenty of love and affection. I pay attention to the little things, and will always do everything in my power to ensure their comfortability.
About: Growing up with a variety of dogs and cats, I’ve always had a hands-on approach to caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience in everything from basic care and grooming to managing special needs for both puppies and senior pets. What really sets me apart as a sitter is my background in dog training—while raising puppies of my own, I completed training courses to ensure they developed good behavior and essential skills. Whether it’s reinforcing commands, managing energy levels, or providing gentle care for older pets with unique needs, I’m comfortable adapting to each animal’s personality and requirements. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where your pets can thrive while you’re away! As a full-time college student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to devote to your pet’s care. I attend only one in-person class for 50 minutes twice a week, with the rest of my classes being online and remote. This allows me to be home for most of the day, ensuring your pet gets the attention and care they need. I'm also an active person and make it a priority to get outside for walks every day, so I’m always happy to take your dog for a stroll or play with your pet in the yard. Whether it's feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, pet care easily fits into my daily routine! When caring for pets in my home or yours, your pets safety and your trust in me are my top priorities. At my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure spaces for your pet to explore and relax. I keep hazards like toxic plants, choking risks, and dangerous chemicals out of reach. My home is calm, clean, and cozy—perfect for a pet to feel safe and at ease while you're away. If I’m caring for your pet in their own home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain their routine and environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure. I keep open communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos so you can trust that your pet is happy, healthy, and well cared for at all times. My friends also call on me to tend to their animals and gardens while they are away. I can accommodate most routines, though I am committed two days per week for four hours both days. I would also like to continue to substitute teach while caring for your pet. Together, we can create a schedule that meets your pet's needs. I will feed, play with, and walk your pet, carefully following any daily routines and guidelines you provide to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.
About: I am a huge dog lover! Growing up with dogs around, I've gained experience in caring for them in all areas. I am a huge fan of the outdoors and being active, so I love taking dogs for runs or walks and have pretty open availability! I love all different kinds of dogs, and the size or breed doesn't matter to me. I'm great with getting them potty-trained and can learn different training techniques quickly and easily. I believe that a dog needs the right amount of attention, exercise and diet for them to be happy, and I have the skills to gauge what each breed might need depending on their temperament. I can be contacted at any time of the day, and am looking to do as much as possible to supplement my income.
About: Hi, I'm Wendy — a Boise animal lover, raised in Idaho. For over a decade I founded and ran an award-winning business here in Boise. That taught me the thing that matters most in pet care: show up when you said you would, every single time, and treat someone's home and routine with respect. I share my home with my dog Burt Reynolds, a 7 year old Bloodhound/Poodle “Bloodle”. What you get with me: photo updates after every visit, so you're never wondering how your dog is doing. Fresh water, walks at your dog's pace with time to wander and their normal routine kept exactly as it is — same feeding times, same walk, same spot on the couch. I'm also a certified Reiki practitioner, which in practice just means I'm patient and calm with anxious dogs. Nervous rescues, senior dogs, and pups who take a while to warm up are genuinely welcome here. I drive a vintage Vanagon that dogs seem to love, and I'm happy to handle vet runs or grooming drop-offs if that helps your week. Every new client starts with a meet & greet — your dog interviews me, and you decide with zero pressure I recently sold my business and am so excited to dedicate my life to helping pet owners and pets feel safe and cared for. So my schedule is pretty open accept when I'm traveling. I can be available 24/7 - 7 days a week. Your routine is the plan. At our meet & greet I write down feeding amounts and times, medications, walk routes, house rules, and the quirks only you know — then I follow it exactly. If something comes up that isn't on the list, I text you before I improvise. Safety habits I don't skip: the leash goes on before the door opens, every single time. I check gates and door latches on my way out. I don't let a dog off-leash unless you've told me it's okay and we're somewhere secure. On hot Boise afternoons I test the pavement with my hand before we walk, shift walks to early morning or evening and always carry water. I keep your vet's info and the nearest emergency vet saved before the first visit, along with a backup contact of yours. Keys stay on me, never labeled with your address, never left under a mat. Your home gets treated like a home, not a job site. No guests, lights and blinds as I found them, trash and mail handled, and I leave it the way you left it. You get a photo and a short note after every visit, so you always know exactly how your dog's day went.

“Allison and her family are the sweetest! Our pup came home happy and healthy. We got photo updates and regular check ins. We already have another boarding booked. 😊”

“There aren't enough good things that I can say about Chad and his family! Not only was he super responsive, but I definitely felt like my dog was in good hands. Throughout my trip, I received many photo updates, usually when my dog was out and about playing with other pups. Having someone that you can depend on is paramount and I hit the jackpot with Chad. THANK YOU!!! P.S. Jovie says hello 🙂”

“We had a wonderful experience with Jill! She communicated clearly and consistently, keeping us updated with photos and messages. Most importantly, she took excellent care of our dog, who was happy and well-loved while we were away. We highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again!”

“Our little Maltipoo was comfortable with Bonnie at the meet and greet so I had a good feeling about leaving him with her. She kept me updated on how Paxie was doing and how he and her oldest son were becoming good buddies. We will definitely book with Bonnie again. Thank you!”
