About: Hi, my name is Rachel and I graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Childhood Education in 2017. I am now in graduate school at SUNY Cortland working towards a masters degree in recreation. I have always loved dogs and have been around them my whole life. I grew up with a lab/german shepherd mix named Bubba and got my first puppy at age 13, an 8 wk old beagle named Cody. I visited my aunt and uncle frequently when I was younger and always looked forward to taking care of their 2-3 dogs, 1 always being a seeing-eye dog in training. I love playing, walking, snuggling and everything else that is involved with dogs! I also love cats and got two cats Moa and Chloe when they were 3 months old.I currently am a full time graduate student, making my time flexible. I also love all other animals, without them my life is not full.
About: I love animals of all kinds! Dogs are my favorite. I like them more than people. I had a Weimeraner for nearly 15 years and I miss him everyday. Dog sitting has been very theroputic for me. Im not working at this time. I'm out of work until further notice do to a repedative motion injury to my right arm. I am available Monday- Friday. I live in an apartment house located near a school. I have a back yard but it is not fenced in. It's a very nice area to walk dogs.

About: Hello! I have been a dog groomer for over 10 years and a part time dog walker for 5. I have recently become more available to take on another client or two. I have done long term dog walking and dog sitting for a few local families in the Cortland area. They love me and I love them and their pups! I'm currently employed as a psrt-time dog groomer and have been at this facility for 10 years. 5 years ago I began dog sitting and walking for a few local families and now that my children are older I'm able to take on another client or two. My weekly schedule is flexible but Friday's I'm unavailble all day due to a full client scheudle that day! I have three dogs, a cat, and some chickens. All my animals are up to date and we have an electric fence to maintain their boundary. They get alot fo walking, running (especially the goldendoodle,) naps, and lovin'. My clients pets get walked twice a day, sometimes three if needed. I have one family who just likes me to go and let them out, play some fetch, and lots of belly rubs. I have been asked to take pets for walks, emergency pick ups from boarding facilities, and asked to do feeding schedules.

About: I always have waste bags, dog treats, and carriers with me. I have common vet meds memorized. I own plastic syringes. I’m a part of a group that provides emergency wildlife transport & rescue. I don’t scare easily if at all, and I know how to keep your pet, and myself safe— most importantly! I will care for your pet with so much patience, empathy, care, space (if needed), cuddles (if they are asking for it), or whatever is appropriate. Animals can do no wrong out of evil or malice in my eyes, they just need guidance and love and help! My biggest flaw as a sitter is that I tend to over communicate as a baseline — usually out of confirming their health / safety first — but I can discern what is an emergency and send summarized updates (i.e. by night or by weekend if housesitting longterm, for example.) About: Well hello everybody! I have owned and cared for cats my whole life! I would consider myself an expert even with the most challenging kitties and cats of all ages. Most of the cats I have had as pets have been special needs as well so please don’t think your little fur baby is too “difficult” for me! Also, I have been professionally taking care of pets all of my whole life. at most I’ve had 15 cats, 4 dogs, 1 turtle and 1 lizard. poop doesn’t scare me and neither does piddle! I have also had a plethera of pets that had special needs. therefore, if your pet requires special care, I am 100% willing to do that to ensure that you’re comfortable and that your fur-baby is too ☺️ Elderly pets are no worry. If your pet sprays I don’t wish to board them mainly because I don’t want their potty scent throwing off my animals. I have 3 cats of my own at my house. if your pet doesn’t agree with cats boarding probably won’t be the best solution for you! I have a completely open schedule that allows me to be around for you and your pet needs almost everyday of the week. I’m awake around the clock and don’t mind working with odd hours either! I would refer to the pet owners wants, wishes & concerns and of course treat them like as if they were my own little fur baby!
