“Ashley was absolutely wonderful in watching my two pups! She is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about all sorts of dog care and was great at watching both a giant hyperactive puppy and my older more mellow girl who needs regular medications. She sent so many updates and pictures during their stay so I always felt informed and up to date on their day! Ashley was so respectful of my wishes with them and made sure to check with me about treats, bath products, and extra activities. She took my one dog running with her regularly, which he loves, and gave my lazy cuddle bug lots of snuggles and couch time! The dogs clearly got so much love from her entire family and I felt so assured that they were in capable and loving hands! Ashley asked questions when she had them and followed my feeding and medication instructions to a T! She was also so sensitive about making sure both dogs felt comfortable and making sure they were in a safe and secure environment on their terms! Both my pups were so happy looking in all their pics and were excited on pick up-I could tell they had a great time! I’m no stranger to dog sitters and doggie daycare and honestly, Ashley is one of the best I’ve found so far and I can’t wait for my pack to spend time with Ashley and her wonderful family again! About: I have always had pets in my life. I was born into a house with cats and dogs and have had two dogs for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of the animals when my parents have been gone. We have had dogs old and young of all sizes and I love all animals big and small. I will love on animals and play with them, take care of them or just snuggle if they dont like to play. I will be with the animals as much as possible in between other jobs. I also have worked at petsmart in the pet hotel so I have a lot of knowledge and experience working with pets. I am currently working full time but I can let the dogs out before I go to work and then can go right after work as well. I go in at 8 am and get off at 330 pm I will take special care with each pet and be sure to follow the rules that are set by the pet parent. Because of working at petsmart I pay close attention to details and take special care of pets.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—from my childhood golden retriever, to my first mini poodle in college, and now my French bulldog puppy. About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. She was diabetic so I had to give insulin and make sure she was feeling okay without her mom and dad around. About: I work shiftwork in a hospital and dogsit on my days off due to my love of dogs (and to fulfill the urge of getting a second dog!). Our home includes myself, my husband, and our friendly female bernese mountain dog Berkeley. No kids or other pets. We are comfortable with dogs of all breeds and activity levels. We only host one dog at a time so your dog will get all the attention. There is a fenced yard in a calm/quiet neighborhood. For multiple night boarding, would prefer arranging a meeting before booking to ensure it is a mutual good fit. Feel free to reach out for any additional details. Our schedules revolve around our dog Berkeley so your dog will get just as much personalized attention. My husband and I only host dogs when I am off of work/there are few other plans so your dog will rarely be left unattended Our home is spacious and there is a fenced yard so plenty of room for your dog and our dog Berkeley. You are welcome to provide a crate but we don't require dogs to be crated at our home.
About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

I have common vet meds memorized. I own plastic syringes. I’m a part of a group that provides emergency wildlife transport & rescue. I don’t scare easily if at all, and I know how to keep your pet, and myself safe— most importantly! I'm a mother of school aged children and I have a very flexible schedule including day,evening,and weekend hours. Short notice requests can usually be accomodated. I'm very comfortable reading animal body language. I have a very people/dog friendly dog who loves to join in on a walk if your dog would like the company.
About: I’ve taken care of our family dogs, cats and chickens for over 20 years. Our animals are a part of our family and are treated as such! Good exercise, healthy food and regular grooming are essential to taking good care of our pets! Although I am a full time teacher, our dogs are walked twice daily. Our dogs are brushed out daily to maintain their coat. I ensure that our animals receive the care and attention needed to feel loved by and connected to us. Our dogs have a fenced in back yard for fetch and a nice neighborhood/pond area for walks. I will take good care of your animals by ensuring good exercise and care taking.

About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. “Ashley was absolutely wonderful in watching my two pups! She is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about all sorts of dog care and was great at watching both a giant hyperactive puppy and my older more mellow girl who needs regular medications. She sent so many updates and pictures during their stay so I always felt informed and up to date on their day! Ashley was so respectful of my wishes with them and made sure to check with me about treats, bath products, and extra activities. She took my one dog running with her regularly, which he loves, and gave my lazy cuddle bug lots of snuggles and couch time! The dogs clearly got so much love from her entire family and I felt so assured that they were in capable and loving hands! Ashley asked questions when she had them and followed my feeding and medication instructions to a T! She was also so sensitive about making sure both dogs felt comfortable and making sure they were in a safe and secure environment on their terms! Both my pups were so happy looking in all their pics and were excited on pick up-I could tell they had a great time! I’m no stranger to dog sitters and doggie daycare and honestly, Ashley is one of the best I’ve found so far and I can’t wait for my pack to spend time with Ashley and her wonderful family again! She’s got a new regular!”

She has some separation anxiety and scratched a little sore on the top of her head but the communication was excellent and they cleaned her up and took necessary precautions so it didn’t get any worse.
