“Brianna was excellent with meeting and walking my dog. She was fleixible in scheduling and very communicative. She was friendly and open to learning what works best with my specific pup. I look forward to working with her more.”

About: Hi! I have taken care of my friend’s dogs for 8 years, while they’re out of town or just at work, from puppies to adults, and it’s a lot of fun! I work full time with a food delivery service, but I’m all over town all day and can be super flexible on when I need to take breaks As far as safety goes, I always walk dogs on a leash, and treat them with the same love and care as if they’re my own. I am happy to follow care instructions for any clients
“Anastasia was so great with our dog. She has a great demeanor around him and he was immediately comfortable around her! We would highly recommend her services!”

About: On top of my rescue and advocacy efforts, I've chosen to be a dedicated pet caregiver and answer my calling! If you choose me to care for your pet, I will always feel honored. I give my undivided attention to each animal and shower them with love. My goal is always to bond and make a friendly connection to become their new best buddy! My experience goes well beyond basic feeding and walks. I’ve cared for puppies, energetic young dogs, senior pets, large breeds, cats, multiple-pet households, and animals requiring extra patience or special attention. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and caring for injured or recovering animals, so you can feel reassured that your pet’s individual needs will be carefully followed. I’ve also cared for horses, goats, chickens, ducks, and other farm animals, livestock, exotic pets and more! Over the years, I’ve helped animals that were lost, injured, neglected, or simply needed someone to care, including personally rescuing and nursing animals back to health. I've organized and run fundraising events for non-profits, volunteered much of my time at shelters and behavioral therapy and training spaces. I’m always committed to providing patient, compassionate support. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily life and something I intentionally make time for. My schedule is built around providing dependable, attentive care for the animals entrusted to me. I plan my days carefully around each pet’s established routine, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, companionship, and any special instructions their family provides. I understand how important consistency can be, especially for senior pets, puppies, pets taking medication, or animals who may feel anxious when their family is away. I believe pets are most comfortable when their familiar routines are kept as consistent as possible, so I follow each family’s instructions carefully and tailor my care to the individual pet. That includes feeding, fresh water, walks and potty breaks, medications, playtime, exercise, and plenty of affection or quiet companionship—whatever makes your pet happiest and most secure. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy level, and anything that seems unusual. Safety is always a priority, including securely checking doors, gates, leashes, and the home before I leave. I also provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing how your pets are doing while you’re away. Just as importantly, I understand that I’m a guest in your home. I respect your property, belongings, privacy, and personal space, clean up after myself and your pets, and strive to leave your home just as you left it—or better. My goal is for you to return to happy, well-cared-for pets and a home that has been treated with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!
About: Hi! My name is Brooklin, and animals have been a huge part of my life for over 18 years. I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. I previously worked with the Charleston Animal Society, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals and understanding their individual needs. My background has given me the skills to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care for your pets while you're away. I am comfortable administering medications when needed and have experience monitoring pets' health, feeding schedules, water intake, bathroom habits, and overall well-being. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm and relaxed environment, I strive to make them feel comfortable, loved, and stress-free. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities. My goal is to treat every animal as if they were my own and provide pet parents with peace of mind through dependable care and communication. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! At the moment I have a full time job, but have weekends off. I plan to entail doing this on my weekends and even after work days. This is more then just making it my routine. I adore animal(s). I have a fenced in yard, I as well have a crate. Plenty of opportunities for walking adventures. I enjoy going to the dog park, as well with adventuring outside anywhere with the animal(s). Whatever you set for rules or boundaries I’ll always continue to respect them, and always follow. I enjoy working with animal(s)

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your McGraw. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in McGraw after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
