About: I can't remember a time in my life where I wasn't surrounded by dogs! I’ve taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, from pups with never-ending zoomies to the senior dogs who prefer naps and treats all day. I have also cared for my own dog who had cancer and needed regular meds and a lot of extra attention, as well as a German Shepherd with hip issues who needed help getting around. So I’m very comfortable with medications, special needs, and just being patient and gentle when pets need a little extra support. I’m a huge animal lover overall, I think it is just in my DNA to love these fur babies...I’m all about making pets feel safe and loved. PLUS my sister is a veterinarian so it it is always a plus to have someone on speed dial with any questions or concerns I ever have! I am very flexible with my availability, I am usually available all throughout the week, just let me know when you need me and I will make it work! I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and as stress-free as possible in their own environment. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal routine so pets feel like nothing has really changed. Same feeding schedule, walks, playtime, and any medications exactly as instructed. I am very mindful of safety like making sure doors and gates are secure, keeping an eye on food and anything they should not get into, and always supervising closely during walks and play. I also pay attention to their behavior so I can pick up on any changes or signs that something feels off. Most importantly, I treat every home and pet with respect and care like they are my own and I aim to build trust so both pets and owners feel totally comfortable while they are away. I can walk dogs around on a leash in a neighborhood or park, or run around with them in a fenced in yard!
