About: Hello there! My name is Sammy and I have been around animals all of my life and they have inspired me in so many different ways. I have been managing doggy daycare/boarding facilities for a little over 3 years now so I guess you can say pet care is my specialty! I am dog and cat CPR certified, certified through the DHA (dog handler academy),I know how to give injections, and my knowledge on dog behavior is quite extensive. About: I love absolutely love dogs! I work from home as a Generative AI associate so my schedule is very flexible and ideal for taking care of your dog when you're busy or away. I'm available mornings, afternoons, or evenings, basically whenever you need. And my apartment is located in Shockhoe Bottom near two parks, ideal for walks. I grew up with Lhasa Apso pups (Cassie and Teddy) and have been dog-sitting and dog-walking for about 5 years. I've taken care of a variety of breeds, ranging from a Chinese crested to a boxer-pitbull mix. I'm a very compassionate, gentle, and patient person. About: Hi, I'm Miki! I've had dogs my whole life, and adopted one of my very own (Scout) about 4 years ago! With several years of personal and professional experience, I'm confident I can provide a happy and safe space for your pet. :) As a dog owner, I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust with your pet, and my goal is to give my client's peace of mind knowing that their babies are being cared for just as I would my own dog! At the moment, I only host one dog at a time to make sure they get my full attention (or two from the same household). I have a ton of experience and knowledge with dogs, but particularly anxious/reactive dogs and am always happy to accommodate any special needs/requests. I work from home a few days a week and have an open weekend schedule, so Scout and I would love having another friend around to keep us company! We typically go on a minimum of 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon and night) for anywhere from 20 minutes- 1+ hours. Between walks, I have plenty of toys and mentally stimulating gadgets that Scout would be happy to share. :) While I don't have a yard, my neighborhood is the perfect dog-friendly spot with lots of trails, streams and parks! If your dog is hanging with us, you can expect an itinerary full of very dog centered activities (as usual) haha. I'm experienced working with low and high energy dogs and more than happy to follow your dogs typical schedule- whatever that may be! To maintain safe and calm environment for all pets, I do require that dogs are crate trained and feel comfortable being crated if I need to leave the house for a short time.
