About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. About: As a child, I had a small dog named Nike! She was the cutest little Shih Tzu. Having her at a young age taught me responsibility first and foremost, but it also taught me how to appreciate and be patient with animals. Both my dogs (age 7 & 6) had NEVER been boarded or kenneled before, so I was nervous that they'd be anxious and upset, but they came home absolutely happy and contented after staying with her. She was kind enough to provide twice-daily feedback about their walks, sleep schedule, and general wellbeing, and that helped me relax and enjoy myself. My dogs sleep on the bed at home, and I chose Emily because she was going to be with them at night and because she has so many repeat customers; that tells me all I need to know! About: For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering care for a herd of goats on Gillie's Creek Park. I am also the primary farm sitter for several friends' homesteads and a frequent pet sitter for friends and acquaintances. I have a broad range of experience: handling elderly animal care, newborn feeding/monitoring, pet anxiety, unique medication/feeding schedules, and general care for most farm/domesticated animals. I have a deep love for animals and their welfare with a desire to assist you and your pet in any way possible. I'm currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule. Typically not away from home for more than 3 hours at a time during marked available hours. My schedule can be adjustable if coordinating in advance. If caring in your home, I ensure that all items are back where they were originally left and that all feeding bowls and areas accessed are cleaned and organized. My home has a fenced-in yard, plenty of plants, natural lighting, and no other pets to contend for attention or food.
