About: I have been taking care of ALL types of animals for 40+ years, but my favorites are cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. It makes my soul happy 😊 I am ready to love your fur baby as if it is my own! Throughout my life, I’ve owned just about every type of furry and not so furry animal you can imagine. Taking care of animals is what I’m passionate about. I can work pretty much any request into my daily schedule as long as I have proper notice. Check my calendar because I keep it up to date all the time. I will x out dates that I have pending requests, which usually means I’m just waiting to meet my clients before it’s confirmed. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I do live right across from a dog park and an open field/Grant Park where I take my little guy to run and play. I will follow whatever rules you have for your babies in your homes.

“Devon was great! I completely forgot about our appt to meet up before the walk, but she was able to make friends with my dog very quickly after meeting him, followed directions well, and sent cute pics! I’d definitely recommend!”

“Berenice was great with both of my dogs! She was able to walk them on short notice and quick to respond to messages. Would be happy to use her again in the future!”

“Lisa is wonderful with our 2 pups. She is great with her communication and has taken exceptional care of them; they look forward to their weekly walk with her!”

About: I am a very loving and caring person who has over 15 years of experience creating relationships with dogs. I know that sometimes work/family/traveling/life can get in the way of spending quality time with your dog and I am here to help. Spending time with animals is very important to me as I own two cats and one dog and life would not be the same without them. Owners will feel safe knowing that I will follow instructions if any are provided while always keeping their expectations in mind. I always try to treat dogs and other animals exactly the way that I treat mine, while ensuring that our friendly bond will never be broken. I look forward to spreading the care and love that I can provide to make your dogs day a happy day!

About: Although I grew up with shih tzus I love all breeds big and small! My parents have a 120lb Bernese Mountain Dog I help out with regularly and most recently I have been watching an adorable 5month old German Shepard-Husky mix. I am reliable, responsible and in need of some dog therapy since I cannot have a dog in my studio apartment. I also recently became a cat owner to a very sweet coon hair mix named Nala I adopted last December from the Wisconsin Humane Society so I can also care for kitties! Let me help you out! I’m currently working Thur-Sun at a local cafe so I am wide open for pet care Monday-Wednesday and Thursday-Sunday I can check on your furry loved one before work at 7am and after work at 3pm-later if need be! I cannot can’t care for pets in home at moment, but I promise when caring for your pet in your home to keep it clean and tidy just how you left it when you went to work and clean up after any unexpected pet messes that may arise indoors.

About: I have taken care of pets for almost 10 years. Family, friends, and also neighbors have relied on me to help when they need someone to watch their animals. I walked with dogs, clean cats litter and keep in contact with the owner literally everyday. It's either through text or photos and also a call. Whatever the owner needs or wants for their pet I will do my very best for both to have a good experience without each other. I know how they feel being away from the pet as I have a pet at home. I am unemployed, and looking around. I have experience with pets as I have one of my own. I walk my dog three times a week. My family members who asked to watch their pet, have fences at their house. I always make sure everyday that it's locked. I do not have a fence in the backyard if I stay out with my dog to make sure she doesn't run.

About: I grew up on a hobby farm, so I've been taking care of animals since I was the age of 10. I was in charge of feeding, walking, and generally taking care of dogs, cats, horses and pigs. In college, my family often relied on me to watch the family dogs when they were out of town. The dogs would either come stay with me in my apartment, or I would drive home to stay with them there until my family returned. This trend has not only continued but expanded in adulthood. I have dog and cat sat for many clients, colleagues, and friends. I am now a proud cat owner of a charming, but sickly cat. Because of this, I am well versed in giving medications and caring for animals that require a little extra love and attention. I have a full time job during the work week, but I can be available before or after to visit your animal. Additionally, I may also be available to stop and see your animal during lunch depending on the distance from downtown Milwaukee. I am more than happy to come to your home to take care of your pet or give them a walk in your neighborhood-- whatever you prefer! As an active 27 year old, I have plenty of energy and time to give to your baby so they feel loved, happy, and safe while you are away.

About: I am aware of the prominently displayed cancellation on my profile. Please don't let that worry you. It was a extremely rare event where I had an emergency roof repair. It's not an incident that would ever repeat. I use a Life360 tile on a separate collar for your dog for an added sense of security. I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals, all personalities. I care about your pets safety and needs as much as you. I'm gentle and patient and talkative. For overnight I have an extra room that they can stay in (See pictures). Bath and grooming available on request or if needed. They will be able to go potty however often they need to. I have a fenced in backyard. For daycare I can offer half day rates which would be 4 hours. I can offer reduced rates for small dogs. Rover does not provide for these discounts over the app, so make sure to ask me when requesting booking. I can work around your schedule. Unless I have other bookings I will be here to help. I may be able to do same day bookings if I have availability, so just ask asap. Everything will be tailored to your specifications so I like to go over routine first. Meet and gets welcome at my house. I'm patient, gentle, protective, talkative. I love taking pictures. Check in at any time for any reason.

About: I have professional experience in the care of domestic animals including but not limited to: pet store associate, lead animal care tech at a humane society, vet tech assistant/daycare & boarding manager, and walking/in home care. I have also completed coursework on training and animal welfare as a marine animal trainer in California and Wisconsin. I understand animal behavior and can act appropriately. I am able to provide oral and topical medications as needed. I am willing to bath and trim nails for an additional charge (depending on the size of the animal/availability of a larger tub outside of my home.) I can also assist pet parents with training concerns for an additional fee. I have references upon request for all services I have listed.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from playful puppies to wise senior pups. What sets me apart is my open-minded, patient approach coupled with a strong attention to detail. I make it a priority to understand each dog’s routine, energy level, and personality so they feel safe, seen, and loved. I have experience with crate training, basic obedience reinforcement, and administering oral medications. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older dog or high-energy playtime for a younger pup, I tailor every visit to their unique needs. I'm an elementary school teacher who goes back to the grind in September. I'm open 7 days a week! I can swing by when the time is best! Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I aim to keep things calm, consistent, and tailored to your pet’s routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I follow your instructions closely, maintain routines your pet is used to, and provide detailed updates with photos to keep you informed and at ease. My goal is to give your dog a stress-free experience, full of love and attention while you’re away.

About: Ive been working with pets for over 6 years, I’ve walked them or taken care of them as if they were my own because I know how important they can be. I also know that keeping your pets active is the secret for them to live long, walking them is the best way to keep them healthy I am currently working part-time as a CNA, my schedule is pretty much free and I am available throughout the week. Any day I do have work I would get out at 2pm and could still take care of your pets. I also used to have a dog so I know how important it is to take care of them. I have a fenced yard and big yard for you pet to run around in. I currently don’t have any pets so your pet would have my undivided attention at all times.

“Kim was always punctual, polite, and professional on her walks with Wren! She even put in the extra effort to continue with her on-leash training plan with a clicker, after I gave her the instructions. I’d be glad to have her take care of my fur baby again!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom who truly gets how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I have a reactive, fear-based pup myself, so I completely understand the nerves that come with finding the right person to care for your pet. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to treat your dog just like family, because that’s exactly what they are. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years. I’ve also fostered pups on and off for the last 5 years—from high-energy goofballs to shy, shut-down dogs who just need someone to sit on the floor and wait until they feel safe. I’ve cared for seniors with medical needs, managed meds, and adapted to all kinds of personalities and routines. Big or small, young or old—I truly love them all. My approach is always patient, kind, and tailored to what each pup needs to feel comfortable and happy. I don’t have family nearby, so I know how stressful it can be to find someone you trust. For me, discovering the right sitter on Rover was a game-changer, and I’d love to be that person for you. I work remotely full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care for your pet. While I work during the day, I typically have flexibility to adjust my schedule for walks, feedings, playtime, or check-ins, especially with a bit of notice. I’m also generally available in the early mornings, evenings, and most weekends. Please note that any weekday requests are considered based on my workday flexibility. Unfortunately, I’m not able to commit to a recurring schedule. I’m committed to caring for your pet in the way that makes them feel the most comfortable. I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of routines, and I know how important it is to stick to what works best for them. Every pet is unique, and I always appreciate a heads-up about any quirks, preferences, or boundaries—those little details make all the difference. Routine is especially important when a new person enters their space, so I do my best to keep things calm, familiar, and stress-free. At home, my dogs are always separated during meals or when given chews. I use gates or kennels when needed to provide structure, allow for downtime, or give everyone a break. Otherwise, you’ll usually find them snuggled up on the couch with me or playing together—with plenty of belly rubs, of course.

About: Animals have always been my passion. Growing up in Puerto Rico, I dedicated myself to rescuing and caring for stray dogs and cats, giving them a second chance at life. With a certification in pet CPR and specialized training in grooming, I’m committed to providing the highest level of care for your furry friends. Recently moved from Madison, WI. Right now I’m changing careers, I spend all day at home. I have plenty of availability. Looking forward to meet new clients. Prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every pet I care for. In my home, I create a calm and pet-friendly space, ensuring they feel secure and loved. In my clients’ homes, I follow their routines closely, providing attentive care while respecting their space. Please provide clear instructions.

Courtney T.
“Courtney loves all furry creatures with her whole heart and soul. She currently is a loving mama to 3 cats and a dog, but given the time and space to responsibly have more, she would. I have witnessed her care for countless animals throughout the years. She possesses an innate ability to relate to an animal’s moods and needs in good times and bad. One experience that stands out is when a family member’s beloved pug was experiencing extreme heat stroke while on vacation, Courtney calmly assessed the situation, then personally took the necessary steps to get the dog stabilized initially and quickly get her into the care of a veterinarian for further care. When everyone else was freaking out, she knew exactly what to do and saved that dog’s life. In times that are not so serious, she is always ready to provide a pet, scratch, belly rub, treat, walk… you name it. My dog is tireless when it comes to fetch, and Courtney manages to tire her out. I highly recommend her to care for anyone’s furry friends.”

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Cody both as a teacher and as a pet owner for more than a decade - there’s a surprisingly amount of overlap in skills that makes someone great at both. He’s patient, a great listener, and meets the other person or animal at their level. I’ve seen him track down and coax out a skittish cat hiding in the drop ceiling of a basement with catnip and the promise of chin rubs. I’ve seen his ability to teach a wild puppy how to politely walk on leash and stop at all crosswalks. 10/10 would recommend.”
