About: From Big Boofers like Bernese Mountain dogs to short-legged friends like Corgis, I love dogs/animals of all sizes. I have cared for special needs dogs e.g. with anxiety. I’ve been lucky to interact with and feed week-old puppies from a dog-trainer and breeder friend of mine, along with learning some basics on training, such as door entry behavior. I primarily work from home, so I have fairly open availability! I can work remotely from your home so that I can spend time with your pets throughout the day, and be available for feedings, walks, attention/love, etc. I am cognizant and attuned to pets’ specific needs while being respectful of your time and home/space regarding your pet. I will wipe off paws and fur on muddy or wet days, and ensure that when I leave, your space is the same as when I arrived, all while giving your pet some extra love or space, playing to provide some excitement in their day, or giving treats on walks if consistency is difficult.

My name is Elaine, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for cats. I currently have a cat of my own, Koko, and I understand feline behavior, boundaries, and the importance of earning a cat’s trust. I’m comfortable with everything from interactive play and enrichment to giving cats space when they need it, and I’m attentive to subtle cues in their behavior. About: I have 16+ years pet care experience with Dogs, and 20+ years experience with dogs. I treat my pet companions like family, always. My dog Marley gets walked, bathed and has daily playtime. My cat Katara has daily playtime and even plays with me and my pup. They are two peas in a pod and love each others time. I have experience administering pets meds as well as bathing cats and dogs. Pet care falls into my daily routine naturally. My pet babies know when I get home they get 1 treat, Marley knows he goes out to use the bathroom and goes for his daily walk. When Marley and I get back from our walk its playtime for all three of us. I have a very nice pet friendly apartment complex, as well as many safe areas for us to explore! I can provide animal care services on an as needed basis, I will just need to be notified ahead of time of meds, allergies, pet specific foods etc.

About: I have many years of experience caring for and training my own pets and fostering a few along the way. I am an avid rescuer and love taking care of animals from all walks of life. High energy, elderly, barkers, wigglers even the stinky are welcome. I take pride in providing care for your pet. Cheers! I work full time but can stop by and walk before or after work. Morning and nights are available, hoping to go full time soon. We currently are pet free after a difficult and sudden passing but we have a woodsy backyard and a grassy front yard that a pooch can get some good exercise in. About: I’ve had pets my whole life, so I understand how stressful it can be to find someone to take care of your pets while you’re away or even just gone for the day at work. Our pets are the whole world to us so it’s important you find someone you trust. I hope that once you get to know me I can be that person for you! I have over 13 years experience as I have been around animals my whole life. I love learning their little personalities the things they love whether it’s going for a walk and they have a specific fire hydrant they always stop at or a specific toy at home they always love to play with. I am currently a substitute teacher with the summer off so I can provide pop in visits throughout the week as well as the weekends! About: Throughout my years of working as a Veterinary Assistant I have helped clients keep their pets comfortable and safe while at home and provide them with all the husbandry they need. I am very comfortable with all ages and pets that have medical concerns. With my experience working as a Veterinary Assistant in a general practice and ER Hospital I am attentive to animal behavior/symptoms and know when to seek medical attention for them if needed. I enjoy spending my time with animals in the way they need me whether it's playtime, a long walk, or just some cuddles. I currently only work during the weekends so I am available Monday through Thursday any shifts. On the weekend I would be available to come before and after shifts and could bring a pet with to work if needed. At this time I do not have my own pets so I am able to be very flexible. I only am available to care for a pet in their home. I have a rented unit that does not allow pets. I find that pets do much better while staying at home while their families are away. I can offer day stay, over night, and drop ins while house/pet sitting. I try to keep the schedule for the pet as close to their regular schedule as can be. If I am pet sitting for multiple families I will prioritize the needs of each pet and accommodate according to their specific needs (medication, elderly or young and need frequent potty breaks, feeding schedules, etc).

About: Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, and rabbits has given me a love for all animals. Currently, I own a Russian Blue cat. More recently, my geriatric goldendoodle passed away. I would often times care for and administer oral medications and supplements as well as IV fluids for her. I have experience in dog training (and some cat training), and while I love ALL dogs, big dogs and doodles are my favorite! I have a positive-reinforcement style of training, meaning I try not to scold for bad behavior, but rather reward positive behavior. I am also a big fan of teaching a dog to ring a bell (hung up by the door) to communicate they need to go outside. I am partial to crate-training, but understand that not all dogs respond the same to this. I believe that a crate is meant to be a safe-space that belongs to that pup--it is not a punishment. I have gained intimate experience in caretaking and healthcare in a skilled nursing facility and attending PT school. I understand how pets are family members, and we only want the very best for them. My availability very flexible; morning, noon, overnights, weekdays and weekends! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I currently work part time from home on my computer. Therefore, I have an exceptionally flexible schedule where I can "drop everything" and attend to a pet's needs. I care deeply for all animals. That is why it is important to me to ensure all animals boarded get along together. Safety is my number one priority. When attending to pets someones home, I act in accordance of the rules of the home and I am respectful of their house and belongings, while also providing the best care and comfort for their furry family member. When boarding pets in my own home, I think it is important to provide as much comfort to them as possible, which includes affection, food, and a designated space that they can call "their own". Pets don't know why they are boarded somewhere, or even if it is temporary. Its important for them to understand that they are still safe.
