I have two senior dachshunds adopted from rescues and have rehabilitated them to be sweet socialized canine citizens. I love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.

I adopted my very own dog (a beautiful beagle Maya!) for the first time almost 3 years ago and have learned a lot more since then. Maya frequents dog parks, day cares, hiking trails and the lake as much as she can. She is very social and does well with other dogs as well as children! I’m comfortable administering medicine as I’ve had to with my pup in the past. I work from home and take my dog out every 4-5 hours for potty breaks and short walks around the block. On weekends when I’m home we visit dog parks and/or dog friendly trails as weather permits but also love to cuddle on the sofa for a good movie marathon! When your pet is in my home, they have free range of every room and furniture, minus the bedroom. My dog is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. If your dog prefers to sleep outside of a crate I do have a separate room they can sleep in so they have privacy and don’t have to stress seeing the crate. I will still be able to hear/watch over them from their private room at night!

“Scott was very accommodating and communicative, we got several pictures and even a short video of our dog out playing in the fresh snow. Our dog has a fear of smooth floors and Scott was able to layout enough rugs and beds that Barley was comfortable. Will book again.”

“Rebecca's house was a perfect place for my Reilly to stay while I was on vacation. I received daily pictures of him in their yard, on someone's lap in the evening or hanging out with the other dogs. He seemed pretty content and I felt he had a good safe home to stay at while I was gone. They even cleaned Reilly's eyes which can have build up from weeping as well as giving him the heartworm/flea & tick med that was due during his stay.”

She set pictures and updates to us daily, and included a sweet little note in their things for us to read when we picked them up. When I drop Lux off I know he is going to be the most taken care of and loved little man. Staying at Erin's has been his home away from home, and I have appreciated Erin's consistent communication and photo updates during his stays. Erin herself is incredibly diligent with making sure she knows all necessary information about how to care for your animal, and goes out of her way to be flexible with timing of drop off/pick-ups or if you need last minute services. I am so sad to be moving away and to not be able to rely on Erin anymore - she truly is the best! :(”
