I have been using these 2 for a couple of weeks with both Wag and now Rover. They have been great to my girl. They are helping her get the energy out in a safe way and even working on her focus in public. Much appreciated ?

About: Ever since I was a teenager I have either worked or volunteered in some aspect to take care of animals. I worked at a boarding business walking and caring for the dogs who were staying there. I worked at an SPCA in Florida adopting out adult cats and also socializing feral cats. I’ve volunteered with various non-profit organizations relating to rescuing animals and keeping an eye on feral colonies. I’ve fostered dogs and cats that needed special medical attentions. I love animals deeply, and not just the furry ones. I have cats and ball pythons. Even the smallest creature deserves love and care. I am currently preparing to go back to school in the fall, and I have plenty of free time to spare to take care of your pets. If I am being asked to take care of a pet in your home, I will want to set up a meeting prior to the date of booking in order to be shown the specifics of what you and your pet need from me.

About: Most of my pet care experience has come from caring for dogs for family and friends, and I understand how important trust is—especially for first-time Rover clients. My approach to in-home dog boarding is centered on safety, consistency, and making both dogs and owners feel comfortable. I have two dogs of my own, so daily routines like feeding schedules, outdoor breaks, exercise, and supervision are already part of my life. I carefully follow all care instructions and only accept dogs that are a good fit for my household. Meet-and-greets are encouraged whenever possible prior to booking. This allows everyone to get comfortable, review routines, and ensure a good match for a calm and positive stay. I offer dog boarding in my home with a secure, fully fenced yard, a clean environment, and clear communication throughout each stay. I provide regular updates and photos so first-time clients can feel confident, and I strive to build long-term relationships with both dogs and their owners. My goal is to offer safe, reliable, and loving care that makes families feel comfortable booking again and recommending my services to others. My day is planned around making sure dogs are fed, exercised, and given attention before and after I leave for work. Mornings and evenings include outdoor breaks, walks, playtime, and calm downtime. During the workday, dogs are safe and comfortable with access to water, cozy resting spaces, and a peaceful environment. Since I have two dogs of my own, I’m very mindful about routines and only accept boarders who are a good fit for my home. On a weekly basis, I stay on top of cleaning, laundry, and supplies to keep everything clean, calm, and welcoming. I provide a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for dogs boarding in my home. My home is located in a dog-friendly neighborhood and includes a secure, fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor breaks and playtime. I carefully follow each dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special care instructions. Since I have two dogs of my own, introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully, and I only accept boarders who are a good fit for my household. Dogs are always supervised when together and separated as needed for meals, rest, or comfort. While I am at work during the day, dogs remain in a safe, calm environment with access to water and comfortable resting areas. Cleanliness, consistency, and communication are always a priority, and I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.

My dog loves Jeremy. She spins in circles and wags her tail when I ask if she wants to play with Jeremy. Plus, for the people side of the equation, he is reliable and prompt. Couldn't ask for a better walker.

About: I’ve had pets ranging from cats and dogs to lizards and birds. I currently have 3 cats, I’ve worked at many dog facilities. Such as, boarding, doggy daycare, grooming, etc. I love anything and everything to do with animals and would love to help out with your fur babies needs! I’m working part-time and have plenty of extra time and love to share with your babies. I love working with animals, it feels less like a job and more like a reward. Paying close attention to the owner and the pets needs, going slow and being patient with whatever size/breed/age/temperament that is needed. Making sure to ask questions if needed.

About: My family consists of me, my husband and 15 year old stepdaughter. I have experience house/pet sitting and dog walking, and now I share my love of animals with my family! I call my step daughter the "dog whisperer" because when we have foster dogs, she has the magic touch to make them more comfortable in a scary time. The 3 of us share a passion for our animals, and we would love to spoil your babies like we spoil our own. We have 2 pugs. I have had senior dogs and dogs with special needs, so I am comfortable with any medication or disabilities your loved one may have. My job is to love your babies, so I have full time availability to care for your pets! I work from home, so your pets hang out with me all day! We do not use crates unless you request it. Your pup will be hanging out as a family member and is left home alone for minimal time, if at all. I have a large fenced in yard that has been reinforced with chicken wire so no escaping! Our dogs spend most of their time lounging on the couch, and we want to give your pup the same comfort. Your dog determines our schedule. Since we are home full time, they can go out any time they need to. If we do happen to leave, they are kept in the kitchen area with beds and any toys they may want. Our dogs are always with us and only separated if they are eating or someone needs a time out. Many dogs enjoy lounging outside in the sun, and we keep the patio door open (weather permitting) so they can come in and out as much as they like.

About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.
