About: I have many years of experience caring for animals of all types! I have worked in a veterinary clinic, at a doggie daycare, and on a chicken farm. I also have a Great Pyrenees of my own who is the love of my life! I understand a lot about pet behavior as I have done a research project at the Capital Humane Society studying the effects of training and one-on-one play. I am also a senior at UNL studying companion animal science! All of my classes are currently online, so I spend most of my time at home! I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was able to drive and I will provide an informed and easy going experience for your dog sitting needs as well. Aside from having my weekends free to care for your fur baby I am also available to provide morning, noon, and evening walks and playtime sessions. My personal preference is taking the 10 minute drive to Holmes Lake and going for walks around that area.
About: I have had pets in my life since I was little. Cats, dogs, bunnies, Guinea pigs, hamsters, and all have varied in age. I typically ask that I perform an on-site home visit before the sit with any pets needing insulin injections, oral (both pill and liquid) medications, or subcutaneous fluid. As a singer and gig worker, I ensure that flexibility is built into my schedule. I am frequently available during business hours and around holidays! Bringing a sense of security is critical in this work. I have one client who requested a short video of the door being locked each day. I will work with you and make every effort to let you know that your home and/or loved one is in good hands.
About: Taking care of animals was the first responsibility my siblings and I were raised on. I have had all different species and breeds of pets since before I can remember and I have been a huge animal lover my whole life. I live on a farm with several large animals and always happy cats and dogs around the house. I am an animal science major at KSU working towards a career dealing with behavioral studies for companion animals. I work in a dog daycare and boarding facility and have volunteered training foster dogs for adoption. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
