About: dogs are very important to me as i have been around them my entire life. i currently work at a dog kennel and as much as i enjoy cleaning up after and taking care of those dogs, i would love to have the opportunity to take care of more dogs outside of the kennel environment. my own dog is so very special to me. when i take him back to visit my parents, we have a total of four dogs running around! the smallest is around 10lbs and the biggest is around 85lbs, needless to say it’s crazy and fun! i currently work part time so i am very flexible with my schedule. i am happy to accommodate as much as i can to fit whatever needs you may have. i live in an apartment so as of now, i am not able to dog sit at my home. however, i am more than happy to commute to your residence to treat your dog as if they were my own. dogs have unique personalities and i am capable of accommodating special requests to make sure your dog is as comfortable and safe with me as possible.

Rachel has been walking my dog while I recover from surgery. Rachel was attentive to my instructions and learning about my dog. Talyn was comfortable with her right away and quickly started looking forward to Rachel’s visits. She is both personable and reliable.

About: I’ve been Pet Sitting officially for seven years, I’ve owned cats and dogs my whole life, I love animals I even major in it for college. During college, I started to take on more clients during the summer and I would manage 20+ clients during a summer. I have experience in taking care of small animals like aquariums and fish, two large animals like horses and goats. I have experience managing medications, special needs, multiple pets, special diets, etc. whatever you throw my way I will be up for :) I do work as a manager at a golf course, But my schedule varies and I have large gaps in my day where I will be able to take care of your pet. I am not opposed to getting up early to make sure I get a visit in before a shift, or coming there immediately after work to spend some time with your Pet. I always wanna make sure I spend as much time with a pet as possible and make sure they’re getting their needs all met. I am more than willing to take care of pets at their home, that is their space. I will always make sure I visit multiple times in a day, or if you are up for it, stay overnight with pets. I always make sure all the doors are secure before I leave, everything is clean and put in the place, I always check to make sure there’s no accidents or issues with the pets and their area depending if they kennel or not. I don’t like to leave unless pets have eaten and have had plenty of time to go outside, take a walk, play.

About: I've grown up around all different breeds and temperaments of dogs and have dog sat for both small and large pups! I'm also looking to study animal science or go the pre vet route in college! I'm currently working a part time job only a few hours a few times a week so I will have plenty of time to walk, check in on, or stop by and spend time with your pup! I care for pets making sure they feel safe and comfortable as well as communicating with owners so I know what kinds of things their dogs like to do or things to avoid

About: I am an experienced Veterinary Technician that has worked in the industry for 10 years. I had my own pet sitting and dog walking business in Texas for 6 years before moving to the great state of Nebraska. If selected to take care of your fur babies, I will provide detailed accounts of the interaction that I will have with your pets. I am able to give medications and provide basic medical care. You will be alerted when I notice any sign of illness. You will also be notified when they are being cute. My goal is to provide the best care possible while you are away. I will play with them, love them, and treat them as if they were my own. Taking care of animals is my calling and my passion. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fur babies. I am a stay at home mom and have a flexible schedule to work with your ongoing pet sitting needs. Just let me know what you need! When I am a pet sitter I treat your animals as if they are my own. I pay attention to the details that your pet communicates. I typically can detect early illness and recommend proper intervention to keep your pet healthy. If they are at my house, they are in a fenced backyard and monitored while my dogs play with your dog. I provide plenty of water to prevent dehydration and a nap break to make sure they rest. Be prepared! Your pup will be tired when they return home.

About: I live in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood that allows us to go on long, quiet walks. In addition, to walks we can play outside in our fenced yard, playing catch or fetching the ball or just lying in the sun enjoying ourselves. If you dog is older and just likes to have a relaxing day on the couch we can do that too. What ever you prefer your dog to do, I can give them. Their preferred schedules will be maintained for them and make sure that your dog gets extra love while you are gone. I am able to host any size dog for you and trust me they will feel as if they are a part of the family as well. Can't wait to meet you and your dog.

About: I have two wheaten terriers and know all that is involved when it comes to walks, food, play, etc. I’ve watched my neighbors’ dogs overnight, trained my own, and love meeting new ones as well! I currently am between classes, so I am quite open to your needs: weekends, early mornings, late nights, you name it! The more time with your pets the merrier. Making sure dogs are fed, walked, and played with is top priority—something that comes naturally to me. I occasionally wash dogs if they are considered to be too dirty.

The more the merrier! I could help any day of the week, anytime! I’m currently unemployed, and will start college in mid August, so then I will only be available on weekends from August thru May. About: Hi! I’m Natalie, and I’m a huge animal lover who would love the opportunity to care for your pets! I’m responsible, patient, and treat every animal like they’re my own. I also have my own Goldendoodle, Willow, who absolutely loves making new furry friends! She is very playful, gentle, and friendly and would be so excited to have a buddy to hang out with. Because Willow would be around during stays, I do ask that your dog is comfortable and friendly with other dogs. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, give them lots of love and attention, and send pictures and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands! 🐾🤍 I work as a CNA, but I have a flexible schedule because I’m able to sign up for shorter shifts that work around my availability. I’m very intentional about making sure I have plenty of time to care for pets, which allows me to come home and let dogs out for potty breaks, take them on walks, give them lots of attention, and spend time hanging out with them. I want to make sure every pet gets the care, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away. 🐾 When your pet is staying with me, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved just like they’re at home. I’ll keep them on their normal routine as much as possible, including meals, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Since I have a flexible work schedule, I’m able to make time throughout the day to let them outside and give them attention rather than leaving them alone for long periods. My Goldendoodle, Willow, is also very friendly and loves having other dogs around, so your pup will have a fun little friend to keep them company! 🐾🤍

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 392 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Holland. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Holland. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Holland.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Holland. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
