About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly love caring for animals of all kinds. Although I currently live in a small apartment and can’t have pets of my own right now, pet sitting gives me the chance to spend time doing something I genuinely enjoy. I regularly dog sit for a married couple whenever they travel out of town, and I also cat sit for a woman who lives in an apartment. I have experience feeding, watering, walking, playing with pets, giving medications, and making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule for drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, and pet sitting. Once the school year begins again, I’d still love to continue working with returning clients and their pets in the evenings, on weekends, holidays, and school breaks. I'm there to care for your pet and maintain your space, not disrupt it. During house-sitting stays, I follow your established routines as closely as possible to keep your pet feeling secure and at ease in their own environment. I'll ensure doors, gates, and any containment areas are secure at all times, and I always keep emergency contact information and your vet's details on hand should anything come up. For dog walks, I keep dogs leashed and under close supervision at all times, paying attention to their comfort level and energy throughout the walk. I never push a dog beyond what they're comfortable with and always make sure they're safely returned home before I leave. For in-home check-ins, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food per your instructions, and plenty of attention before I go. I'll always leave your home exactly as I found it and provide updates so you have peace of mind while you're away. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so your pet gets the benefit of staying in the comfort of their own familiar environment — which is often the least stressful option for them.

I can crate your dog if needed and am happy to let them sleep with me if that’s what they’re used to. My chocolate lab puppy stays with another family, so that won’t be a concern.

We have been fortunate having family members watch our 3 Brittany’s in our home, finding they do much better in their own environment & it also eases my mind. While having a personal acquaintance confirmed 2 months in advance to be lined up for an overnight with them, 3 days before it blew up in our face. We were left scrambling, as our family was unavailable. So, I to Rover, searching for someone who would not only care for 3 dogs, but also commute 20-25 minutes, outside of the Lincoln city limits. Daryn even drove to our home, 2 days before to meet our trio/us & see where she’d be staying! She is such a friendly & sweet, young lady, not to mention, was wonderful with our dogs… they ALL loved her!! She was great about sending me photos, too! About: Although I don't have a dog of my own, pets have always been a part of my life! My childhood best friend has two golden retrievers, so growing up we spent countless hours taking them out for playtime and keeping them occupied. My sister adopted an adorable golden doodle two summers ago, and our house is like his second home because of how often he loves to visit. Any of my friends can count on me asking "Where's the dog?" whenever I come over, because I just gravitate to having a furry friend by my side! I specialize in discovering all of your pets' silly quirks that make them unique and working with them from there. I also specialize in working with hyper-active pets, being able to expend their energy in a healthy way and calm them down. I adapt well between large and small animals, handling them each with the proper care/delicacy they need. I have a lot of free time to fill this summer, so my general availability will always be open. I am mainly open to Doggy Day Care, House Sitting, and Dog Walking, but am also interested in Boarding! My daily availability is the most open in the mornings and afternoons, so if you leave home early for a job or a trip I'll be right here to step in. Weekends are also free to Board! I have a large yard with plenty of room for your dog to get out their zoomies! There are also two parks in walking distance from my house, so I have plenty of access to the outdoors. My sister has a mini golden doodle who visits all the time, so I can always set up play dates to give your pet a furry friend. I can administer any medication your dog has need of if I have instructions, and will send as many updates as needed so you know they're in good hands! Relaxation time is always great to have, but I will make sure your pet has a good variation of activities so they are never bored. If I am aware of any triggers your pets has, I will provide a safe environment, whether in your home or mine, so I can always keep them stress-free.

About: I have experience with many different breeds, including reactive dogs and aggressive breeds. I have patience and understanding for every dog and their unique routines and behaviors. I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was able to drive and I will provide an informed and easy going experience for your dog sitting needs as well. I’m currently working full time Monday through Thursday and I am available to pet sit extended time periods as well as short. Aside from having my weekends free to care for your fur baby I am also available to provide morning, noon, and evening walks and playtime sessions. Rest assured that when you’re gone your fur baby is receiving my full attention. I live in an apartment that is close to a walking and bike bath. My personal preference is taking the 10 minute drive to Holmes Lake and going for walks around that area.
