Right before I left, my husky injured his paw, and I initially felt nervous leaving him. She made me feel comfortable the entire time because she kept me updated on his status and sent a lot of pictures. At one point, he wasn’t interested in his food and she HAND fed him to encourage him to eat. Also, I had a huge, very heavy package delivered early while she was there, and she managed to get it inside and out of the rain. She truly went above and beyond. I would 100% use Janelle again and would recommend her to other dog parents.”

About: I've owned dogs all of my life, worked with K-9 units during my 12 years in the military and I am a P..TS.D. service dog handler. I am trained in canine C.P.R and work in Emergency Veterinary Medicine. I am able to administer oral and injected medications if need be. I am also able to provide care for special needs dogs and have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I live close to 3 different vet facilities, 2 of which provide emergency care, I don't believe that there is such a thing as a bad dog or bad breed. And I know, being a dog owner and a service dog handler, that most pet owners are like me....they're NOT pets....they're FAMILY. Retired military and now retiring from Emergency Veterinary Medicine, so I'm now available 24/7 for pet care, walks and pet sitting, check-ins and even just stopping by to help administer medications, fluids or treatments prescribed by your veterinarian. Animals thrive on love and attention just like people do. Interaction and activity are crucial to physical and mental health. The only difference between humans and animals is that they're covered in fur and we have opposable thumbs.

I have an 8' fenced back yard, with security cameras. I enjoy being outside with your furbabies and will provide that extra level of security when they are running around in the backyard. I have hard floors for easy clean-up. I also provide extra blankets to keep your furbabies warm. I also have a separate eating area set up for your furbabies. I keep one extra crate, if needed when you bring your dog.
