“I can’t say enough good things about how Kelly takes care of my boy. She made it so that I did not have to worry while out of town. She was communicative, and helpful.”

About: I have always lived with cats and dogs. The longest I have house sat for someone was 30 days when I watched their 2 large dogs and 1 small dog, which included me living at the home, letting them out multiple times a day, feeding breakfast and dinner, playtime, and snuggle time. I helped my grandma’s dog lose 10 lbs by jogging/walking and playing. I also have experience with rabbits, reptiles, fish, and birds. I’m open to working with senior pets who may need special treatment and care. I have a special place in my heart for animals who need extra attention. I am working full time 9 am - 5 pm Mon - Fri in Hampton, VA. I live in Smithfield. I have my own transportation. At the moment, I am offering to feed breakfast and dinner with potty breaks. If you need more frequent trips, house watching, or overnight stay, please message me and we can discuss it.

I've got a small/medium sized fenced in backyard and 2 small dog crates.
“Jason was great! Very responsive to messages and additional information I had neglected to include in the original care instructions. He checked on my cat at the specified time, let me know how he was doing, and took plenty of pictures.”

“Jeannine was wonderful. She’s so sweet & my dogs loved her. This was the first time one of my dogs were left alone & when we got home I could tell they were well cared for & not traumatized. I look forward to booking with her again.”

“DeHaven and Ashlee are Wonderful!!🤩 This was the first time I have left my kiddos with someone other than family. Naturally, I was a little anxious at the thought of arranging it, but that quickly changed once I met them. They took the time to do a meet and greet, and I was instantly confident in my choice and felt totally at peace. They are great with communicating, wonderful with animals (to include the outdoor feathered ones), went above and beyond and even sent pics to us while we were gone!! I just can’t say enough great things about them and the whole experience!! Will definitely use them again!! Thank you Ashlee!!😊”

I’m a compassionate and attentive caretaker who truly understands that every dog has its own personality and needs. Whether it’s making sure they’re fed, walked, played with, or just comforted, I treat every dog as if they were my own. My lifelong experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to build trust with animals, which is why I know I’d be a great fit for any role involving dog care! i promise your dogs will love our fenced in dog area and have lots of fun! I am currently not working, and I have always wanted to work with animals! Dog sitting allows me to watch my own dog while also taking care of other people’s dogs and making a living for myself! we have a fenced in dog area and lots of room to run and play! I don’t allow any squeak toys in my house in case of choking hazards! And I have crates if you can’t bring your own if your dog is crate trained!
“Amanda was fantastic with Spot! She was great at communication, she sent thoughtful updates and tons of photos after every visit. She was very attentive, from playtime and feeding to bringing a package in out of the rain. Spot loved her, and we’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future when we travel.”

About: With over 20 years of experience caring for pets, I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to more exotic pets. My passion for animals has allowed me to develop strong skills in pet care, including administering medications, feeding, and ensuring a safe and loving environment. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, providing personalized care to meet their unique needs. Whether it's a daily walk or just some extra love and attention, I treat every pet like my own! As a stay-at-home mom, my schedule is flexible and always open to accommodate your pet sitting needs. I’m home full-time, ensuring your pets get the attention and care they deserve whenever you need it. Whether it’s last-minute or planned, I’m here to help! I will care for your pets with the same love and attention I give my own small dog. With a fenced-in backyard, your pet will have plenty of space to play and explore safely. I provide regular exercise and lots of cuddle time to ensure they feel comfortable and happy. Whether in my home or yours, I will follow a personalized routine to meet your pet's unique needs and make sure they feel loved and cared for.
About: Dogs have become a true passion of mine. I provide more than feeding and walks; I focus on understanding each dog’s behavior, body language, and individual needs. I’ve worked extensively with puppies and adolescent dogs, helping build confidence, good manners, and positive social skills through structure, patience, and consistency. I carefully monitor eating habits, energy levels, and overall health while dogs are in my care, and I keep owners updated with photos and detailed communication. Whether your dog loves to play, explore, or simply relax, my goal is to provide a safe, calm environment where they can feel comfortable and secure. My schedule allows me to give dogs plenty of individual attention throughout the day. I plan my routine around exercise, structured play, rest periods, potty breaks, and enrichment rather than leaving dogs unattended for long stretches. I strive to maintain each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Safety is always my highest priority. Every new dog is introduced gradually based on temperament and comfort level. I have experience using crates appropriately for rest, meals, and decompression when needed, and I carefully supervise all interactions between dogs. If your dog prefers quiet one-on-one attention, I’m happy to accommodate that as well. I believe every dog is an individual. I take time to observe behavior, communication, and comfort level so I can provide care that fits each dog’s personality rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

I am the proud owner of a trained Belgian Malinois and a sweet Yorkie, so your dog will be welcomed into a home that will have an understanding on how to care of your pet. Since, I have had my Malinois she has taught me more skills that I could ever imagine. I have also been to a dog training school in order to provide a better understanding on how to communicate with my girls and with other dogs. I am not a dog training, but I have been using my new skills to teach Pynky (Belgium Malinois) to have a much more well-balanced dog. I am a retired Navy veteran for 10 years and spend alot of time with my household needs and of course spending time with my Pynky and Maya they both keep my husband and I busy. Despite my daily activities, my dogs are well taken care of, we go for daily runs and other needed activities from ball playing, retrieval and agility exercises needed to keep my girls well-balance and healthy. Your fur babies will be treating just as instructed by their parents whether high to low drive, I will meet their needs. In my daycare and boarding I will meet their needs with daily walks, playtime, feeding, medications etc... We do have a fence backyard, also have a dog park about two blocks away from my house. We also have a big space behind my back yard that we utilize on a daily basis especially for my Malinois. Inside my house they have a good space to walk around and relax.
About: I have 4 years of experience caring for dogs as a bather, kennel technician, and currently a professional pet stylist. I look forward to creating a trusting relationship with your pup(s)!
“This was our first time booking with anyone, and it was just a drop in visit for a few hours while we were on a day trip, but it was just perfect. Kelsey let me know when he had arrived and sent me lots of pics (which I loved) and kept me updated on how it was going. We had good communication back and forth and it was a great peace of mind for me to know the dogs were all good. They had a great break with Kelsey and lots of time to be outside if they wanted, or to cuddle with Kelsey as one of them did a great deal, and just overall a nice social break in their day.”

“Ashlynn is wonderful! She was flexible with my changing schedule and kept in contact with me throughout my trip. She sent lots of pictures and my dog looked very happy spending time with her. I will definitely book Ashlynn for my next trip!”

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
