“Lisa was so great. Our usual rover was out of town, and generously referred us to Lisa! We did a meet and greet and it went great. Dropped Carolina off for our weekend trip, and she had a great time before we had to unexpectedly head back home from the airport after multiple delays causing us to miss our connecting flight and not make it out after all. Lisa responded quickly and we were able to pick up our girl on the way home from the airport. Lisa was so understanding and flexible during this stressful evening. Carolina was excited to see us just 5 hours after pick up, but we know she had a great time while she was there. Will definitely use again in the future. Lisa was so great about getting us refunded for the rest of the weekend because of the circumstances out of our control. About: Ever since I was young animals have played a huge role in my life. From my first dog to the mini zoo I have today. About: I have one small 3 legged rescue and just adopted another rescue September 2025 who is recovering from being hit by a car. Both are chihuahua s Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. I love all animal but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I am retired and have lots of time on my hands and would love to spend some time with your dog when you are not able to. About: I’ve taken care of my dog and my aunt’s dog since I was nine. I’m twenty now and both of my fur babies are still kicking, barking, and happy. I’ve always loved animals, even helping to rescue some when I was little such as these two baby ducks and other little birdies and frogs too. I go to Old Dominion University so I can take business there in nearby area that is within 60 minutes of walking distance as I do not have a car or drive and rely on family and my boyfriend and friends for transportation. I do rely on my mother, brother or friends for transportation but they are willing to help and be available as needed. Please give me a chance and you won’t regret it. :) I make sure the pets first get to know me, smell me, and recognize me to be comfortable with me. Then, I interact with them more by playing with them and giving them rubs and cuddles so they can feel more connected and comfortable. Then, definitely make sure they eat and drink the right food for their health and nourishment. Then, walk them so they can do their business and get exercise and always make sure they have a leash on. Next, make sure they are groomed and cleaned well and freshen up from the outdoors. Then spend more time with them until our fun is over and they are returned with their beloved owners. I will have a whole day well planned and you and your fur babies will appreciate it. :)

Monday-Friday, but I am flexible on weekends as well if needed. My top priority will always be to care for pets as if they were my own. If staying in my home, I do have a large fenced in yard, a 5 year old golden retriever who loves other dogs, and a 5 year old son to be your dogs best buddy while they stay with us.
About: I have grown up with pets all my life. From dogs of all ages and breeds, cats young and old, birds and even Guinea pigs. My love for animals show in the way I care for them. I am a homebody and would rather stay at home watching Netflix with your pet and my cat. I work during the week but I am free to board on weekends. I have a fenced backyard and a nice neighborhood for plenty of walks. My cat is dog friendly as long as your dog is cat friendly.

About: My family has had many dogs I have had to take care of. Other family members and friends have relied on me many times to take care of their pets while they were away! I am currently a full time student at ODU completing my pre-reqs for nursing school. Despite my school schedule, I am still available for your pets needs and am able to stay with them as well! Spring semester is over and will not be back in classes until the Fall! I care for the needs of the pet/pets as instructed by the client. I try to make it so it was as if the client was home!

“Lisa was so great. Our usual rover was out of town, and generously referred us to Lisa! We did a meet and greet and it went great. Dropped Carolina off for our weekend trip, and she had a great time before we had to unexpectedly head back home from the airport after multiple delays causing us to miss our connecting flight and not make it out after all. Lisa responded quickly and we were able to pick up our girl on the way home from the airport. Lisa was so understanding and flexible during this stressful evening. Carolina was excited to see us just 5 hours after pick up, but we know she had a great time while she was there. Will definitely use again in the future. Lisa was so great about getting us refunded for the rest of the weekend because of the circumstances out of our control. He gets plenty of playtime and attention and we get tons of photos while he is with her. She has had no issues with his size or strength and Beldin always runs to her excited when we arrive. 100% would recommend Nel for any animal, but especially Danes and other giant breeds.”
