When I was still in college, I became an assistant for a lady in the pet sitting business — I helped out for months whether that was overnights or just checkins until I got my own crazy pup and couldn’t commit to overnights. I absolutely love when family or friends ask me to help out - and since starting Rover, I’ve come to adore so many of the pets I’ve cared for time and time again. I love to be active so i’m interested in dog walking or just stopping in to check on your babies! I am one of those people who doesn’t trust just anyone to take care of my pets, so I take that into account when watching others.

I wouldn’t be able to bring a pet into my home unless they were friendly with other pets. I’ve got a 4yo wirehaired pointer and a 2yo cat. I will mostly lean towards caring for your baby in your own home, but I am open to bringing your pets into our home as long as they’re friendly with other pets! If i’m popping into your home, I can feed them, walk them as needed, let them out to potty, come over to keep them company… That is up to you. I’m happy to do it all!

Kirtley did an amazing job with our dogs!!! We got photo updates every visit, a report card about meals and bathroom breaks!!! Very satisfied with the amount of care she put into the care of our dogs!! Def recommend to anyone! We will book in future with her again!
Our cat loves spending time with Kirtley! She also sends us the cutest photos of him when she’s with him. Kirtley is a great communicator and very accommodating for our needs.

Kirtley was awesome. She came over to meet everyone before we left for our trip. While we were gone, she showed up when requested, took photos and updates of all 3 kitties. The one I was worried about due to skittishness loved her so much and would even lay in her lap. We are so pleased and would definitely rebook her.
Kirtley did a great job taking care of Lucy & Ethel for a lunch visit! She sent lots of pictures with notes of what I wanted to know. Great experience!

Schedule
I work in the office Monday-Thursday from 8:30 until 3ish, so my afternoons are typically open. I also am available before work and during my lunch break to stop by. Weekends (Fri-Sun) can be wide open if need be!
