About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds, not just dogs and cats. I currently care for my own dogs and I’ve spent years around animals with different personalities, needs, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with puppies who need patience and consistency, as well as senior pets who require a gentler pace, medication, or extra attention. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, so I take the time to learn their routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away. You’ll also receive regular photo and text updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring, dependable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for a variety of my own animals, including my own dogs, horses, goats, and chickens. I work full-time Monday through Saturday, with Wednesdays off. I have a one-hour lunch break that allows me to stop in for potty breaks, walks, feedings, or check-ins during the day. Before and after work, I have plenty of time to provide attentive care, exercise, and companionship. Whether your pet needs a quick visit, overnight care, or a little extra attention while you’re away, I’m committed to treating them like my own. At this time, I provide care exclusively in my client’s homes, where pets are often the most comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of love and attention. I also make sure your home is left just as I found it and will gladly provide photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. As a lifelong animal owner with experience caring for dogs, horses, goats, chickens, and other animals, I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities. My goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible while you’re away, treating them with the same care and attention I give my own animals.

About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pup Kona. I have always lived with dogs. And recently, have been thinking about getting a cat! I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. I’ve done house sitting and dog sitting previously and enjoyed the work. I have my own vehicle and am used to commuting around the Hudson Valley for work and for fun. I wanted to get back into dog sitting and pet sitting to assist in getting a new car and to get to spend time with pets! I have always been obsessed with dogs! I show that through meeting as many as I can when out in the community :). I am active person, so long walks and playing is something I can provide. About: I have two chocolate labs at home. I have cared for these dogs for 8+ years, and I have also dog-sat plenty of my neighbors', community members', friends', and relatives’ dogs over the years. I love to adventure with my dogs, but I can accommodate whatever adventure means for each dog, based on ability and the owner's desire. Also, I have done training with my oldest dog, have experience giving medication upon the owner's instructions, and have sat with quite sick dogs (my attentiveness to needs in this department is high). Overall, excited to sit for you! And let me know if you have further questions for me! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pups! I’m available for watching on both weekends and weekdays when you need my help! I will have work throughout the week, but I can pick up times to watch as my schedule is flexible. I spend a lot of time with my dogs when they go outside, and I walk/run them every day. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I also have experience ensuring owners’ dogs receive their medications and the correct dosages. Overall, I can adjust to all your pup’s needs!

I am currently transitioning from being a stay at home mom. I’m very trustworthy and make sure your pet is safe at all times! Whether off leash walks are allowed or on leash at all times. I will make sure your pet is always treated as if it were my own.
