“Keri was a pleasure to communicate with before and during the pet sit. Our dog, Katy, who is a somewhat recent rescue who doesn't love everyone, took to Keri right way and rested at her feet when we reviewed my long and detailed instructions in our orientation. Katy has a weird behavior associated with her anxiety and that didn't phase Keri at all. Our house has some idiosyncrasies and Keri didn't seem to mind managing those things, like our Berkey water filter needs refilling in a specific way and the AC drips into a bucket so has to be on a timer, etc. Katy also takes medication and other supplements and Keri was great with all that too. We felt confident leaving Katy in her care and, according to our friend who took over for the second week we were gone, all was well with the house (tidy and clean) and all was well with Katy (relaxed and easy). Keri sent me daily communications and photos. Keri even took Katy to the river that we left instructionsn for. I was impressed that Keri took the trouble to do that special outing with Katy. Keri included her husband (with our permission) who also seemed great with Katy. I highly recommend Keri for pet-sitting. She's just super!”

I am offering day long care for your pet. We can do walks, hikes, swimming, even a play day at the park. Single walks, hikes, swimming, trips to the park. Drop ins to your home for up to 2 hours at a time. Available late night and early morning. About: I have had animals (cats, dogs, gerbils, you name it!) all my life. They are what brings me joy no matter what. I love creating fun and loving environments for pets especially when they or their owners are anxious about being apart. After having to find my own sitters while moving to the Berkshires, I realized how wonderful it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your loved ones. I'd like to help be that person for you. I work in hospitality in Lenox part time (usually 10-6 with an hour break) 4 days a week. Would be willing to come by in the morning for a few hours, at lunch, after work and stay overnight if needed. In my home, I love my two boy cats more than anything! One is indoors and one is a mix. They are groomed often and always have a flea and tic collar. The boys get a small breakfast and then wet food at night. Jaylen usually sleeps at my feet and Oswald roams about until breakfast! Their litter is kept downstairs in an entire room of their own and they have their own food bowls away from each other and water is kept fresh and separate. Although I only have 2 cats right now I grew up training family dogs and am just as comfortable with them!

About: I’ve been caring for both dogs and cats almost my entire life! It started with asking my neighbor if I could walk her dog when I was 8 years old, and I’ve never looked back! Since, I’ve watched countless animals (sheep and cows too!) and also have spent a lot of time volunteering at local animal shelters in Los Angeles and while studying at college in Maine. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments of dogs, and can provide any service (think all the way from couch potato to a long hike!) I’m committed to keeping all animals safe, healthy, and happy no matter what, and am excited to help in any way! I am able to walk dogs on my days off from my service, and can sometimes even manage to walk dogs around my schedule, usually later in the day. I have a fenced yard, gates up inside of the house, and another dog (a 4 year old Golden Retriever) as well as two adults living in the house, offering great safety and security in the environment. My dog is not currently with me, but because I have experience of living with animals, it’s quite easy for me to adapt to someone else’s space with animals! I prefer a clean, organized space where animals feel calm.

I have experience administering medications to needed pets/animals and care of feeding, washing (shower/bath care) and walks. Play time is essential, especially for young to middle aged pets because of the energy they posses. There is nothing more happier than a tired dog to sleep happy dreams from exertive play time or a cat playing laser tag and cat and mouse games. : )
