She came for a meet and greet, learned all their names, and followed every instruction during the entire two week period. I needed twice a day drop ins for one hour each. Now I am 24 years old and do not have a dog anymore but still enjoy spending time with my friends pets and I dog sit for my neighbors. I am very active so I enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes. If the dog I am taking care of feels comfortable in water then I will splash around with the dog in the lake (there are dirt roads in this area to walk the dog on too). About: I've taken care of many dogs for family and friends. I have been house and dog sitting regularly for the same family twice a year since 2007 and through word of mouth have picked up many more clients that would happily give a reference if requested. I feed fish and small pets and I'm happy to hang out with cats, spiders, and snakes too. I work full time for a very flexible boss, so getting home to let pets out on breaks and lunch isn't an issue. Once home for the day I tend not to leave so pets will be well cared for and I'll be very present for them. I don't trust letting any pet off leash while outside unless in a fenced in yard. I'm overprotective to a fault. I have sat on a kitchen floor for 45 minutes letting a dog bark at me while getting used to having me around.

Because I’m home often, your pets will receive plenty of attention, care, supervision, and companionship instead of being left alone for long periods. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable, safe, and right at home. We have a very large private backyard with over an acre of space for dogs to enjoy and explore. While the yard is not fenced in, it is set far back from busy roads and offers a quiet, safe, and peaceful environment. Safety is extremely important to us, and all outdoor time is closely supervised. Our property is long and spacious with plenty of room for walks, playtime, and exercise while still maintaining privacy and a calm atmosphere for pets to feel comfortable and relaxed.
About: I’ve been caring for both dogs and cats almost my entire life! It started with asking my neighbor if I could walk her dog when I was 8 years old, and I’ve never looked back! Since, I’ve watched countless animals (sheep and cows too!) and also have spent a lot of time volunteering at local animal shelters in Los Angeles and while studying at college in Maine. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments of dogs, and can provide any service (think all the way from couch potato to a long hike!) I’m committed to keeping all animals safe, healthy, and happy no matter what, and am excited to help in any way! I am able to walk dogs on my days off from my service, and can sometimes even manage to walk dogs around my schedule, usually later in the day. I have a fenced yard, gates up inside of the house, and another dog (a 4 year old Golden Retriever) as well as two adults living in the house, offering great safety and security in the environment. My dog is not currently with me, but because I have experience of living with animals, it’s quite easy for me to adapt to someone else’s space with animals! I prefer a clean, organized space where animals feel calm.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My first job was as an Animal Care Technician with the Humane Society, and I later worked at a military veterinary clinic for more than five years. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I’ve been passionate about since childhood. I’ve always had pets of my own and have rescued many animals over the years. To me, pets are family, not just animals. When your pet stays with me, my home becomes their home. I’ll follow and reinforce your training and household rules, while also making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I tailor their care to their individual personality and energy level. I currently work full-time. But not too far from my job. So I can always come home to let pets out if need be. I will be available to give them all the attention in the afternoon and on the weekends with the help of my kids who just adore any animal. I have a fenced in yard with one dog and one cat to keep your pet company. I can also crate your pet if needed.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for people my whole life. From shitzu’s, to lab mixes. I also have two rescues of my own who I’ve worked very hard with to make comfortable and feel loved after there trauma. I am currently a full time teacher so I’m available mostly weekends. Come summer time, other than a part time job I’ll be available often. I have two high energy dogs who love to play. We do not have a fenced in yard, but it is large with woods all around. We also have a lead set up for dogs who are a flight risk.
