About: I love all kinds of nature and wildlife, but especially dogs, cats, and reptiles! I have experience handling many kinds of animals through my biology research, and I also trained my own puppy! I'm in the northwest corner of CT for the summer before I move out west to start my PhD in biology (did I mention I love animals?). I'd love to meet your pets while I'm around! I’m currently working part-time and have lots of flexibility to stop by for walks, especially during weekdays. My schedule is very easy to work around. About: Hello! I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with experience with everything from chickens and horses to cats and dogs. I have two canine family members myself: a medium-sized mix named Bonnie and a 10-pound Italian Greyhound/chihuahua named Rio. I know how hard it can be to find loving, reliable, and safe pet setters, which prompted me to open up my own home. My dogs love meeting new friends to play with. They get along well with others (though we always require a meet-and-greet before a sit) and are friendly with cats as well. My work-from-home career and spacious property allows me the flexibility to fully care for your pet without any interruptions such as commutes or 9-5 work hours. I am fortunate to enjoy a fully remote, flexible career, which means I am always present for your canine or feline family members. I can accommodate short or long-term stays, and am home throughout the day to maintain your pet's schedule, so they feel completely at home. I think it's important to a pet's sense of wellbeing to be able to keep to their usual schedule as best as possible while in my care. I live on five acres in a log home in a beautiful hilltown in Western Massachusetts, and have a fully fenced yard. I love taking my own pup on daily walks on our property or on nearby dirt roads, so if you have an active dog who needs exercise, I'm your person! If a less active lifestyle is better for your dog, I can fully accommodate that as well. Pets are allowed on my furniture and can make themselves cozy by my wood stove in winter or on my sunny deck in summer. I am familiar with using crates (if desired, but not required) and have a large finished basement perfect for playtime in the winter months.

“Keri was a pleasure to communicate with before and during the pet sit. Our dog, Katy, who is a somewhat recent rescue who doesn't love everyone, took to Keri right way and rested at her feet when we reviewed my long and detailed instructions in our orientation. Katy has a weird behavior associated with her anxiety and that didn't phase Keri at all. Our house has some idiosyncrasies and Keri didn't seem to mind managing those things, like our Berkey water filter needs refilling in a specific way and the AC drips into a bucket so has to be on a timer, etc. Katy also takes medication and other supplements and Keri was great with all that too. We felt confident leaving Katy in her care and, according to our friend who took over for the second week we were gone, all was well with the house (tidy and clean) and all was well with Katy (relaxed and easy). Keri sent me daily communications and photos. Keri even took Katy to the river that we left instructionsn for. I was impressed that Keri took the trouble to do that special outing with Katy. Keri included her husband (with our permission) who also seemed great with Katy. I highly recommend Keri for pet-sitting. She's just super!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over three years. I’ve had various experiences with dogs and cats. As someone who has a dog of their own, I’ve been able to observe behaviors that’s helped when taking care of other dogs, to understand their needs and wants. I currently work remotely however, it doesn’t take time away when it comes to the fur babies! In fact, it allows me to be present and give them the much needed attention. I understand the environment the pets are settled in. I give daily updates to the home owner, making sure that any anxiety of leaving their pets behind is relieved. I bring my own food and care.

“Jesse is THE BEST. After requesting the booking, he came out to meet us and our two boys, taking his own personal time to make sure it was a good fit. During his stay, he kept us informed with pictures and notes on the pups. He left our house just as he found it and, most important, we came home to 2 happy, sleepy dogs, tired after a vacation of their own! Jesse is reliable and incredibly knowledgeable and hardworking. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for 20+ years. Would love to care for yours now. I am physically fit and strong enough to walk large dogs. I work full time do am really only available for house sitting on Sundays(all day and night) and Monday mornings. I am though available for drop in visits or dog walking on other days. If you live local to me and your animal is ok to be left alone while i am at work then maybe I could watch your animal other days during the week. Happy to hang out with pets. Love taking dogs for walks!!! Giving medicine is not a problem. I am good with dogs and cats of all ages.

About: I’ve been caring for both dogs and cats almost my entire life! It started with asking my neighbor if I could walk her dog when I was 8 years old, and I’ve never looked back! Since, I’ve watched countless animals (sheep and cows too!) and also have spent a lot of time volunteering at local animal shelters in Los Angeles and while studying at college in Maine. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments of dogs, and can provide any service (think all the way from couch potato to a long hike!) I’m committed to keeping all animals safe, healthy, and happy no matter what, and am excited to help in any way! I am able to walk dogs on my days off from my service, and can sometimes even manage to walk dogs around my schedule, usually later in the day. I have a fenced yard, gates up inside of the house, and another dog (a 4 year old Golden Retriever) as well as two adults living in the house, offering great safety and security in the environment. My dog is not currently with me, but because I have experience of living with animals, it’s quite easy for me to adapt to someone else’s space with animals! I prefer a clean, organized space where animals feel calm.

About: Hi y'all! I am an all around animal lover. My girls and I take any dogs that we are watching on walks with us every night, we have lots of fun. Pets are allowed on the furniture, unless you state explicitly state you don't want them to be. I prefer not to kennel overnight, but there are always exceptions to the rule! I am able to help with puppies and older pups alike; age is not an issue. Please ask any questions you may have for me, thank you so much we can’t wait to meet you! I am currently working part time but I am always available for nightly drop ins or for any early morning stops on my way in. I am always respectful of your safety protocols, gates are always double and triple checked, doors are always checked to be shut correctly. Food and water levels are consistently monitored. Instructions are always followed to the letter.

About: I have personal experience owning and caring for a large dog from puppyhood to senior status, as well as various different ages of cats. Many of my friends and family have asked me for pet care, and have trusted me with that responsibility. I am currently a lifeguard, and provide lifeguarding and first aid service to clients at my local community center. I am currently working part-time, and have amount of time available daily to take care of your pet. I am available for overnight care, and can provide day to day interaction while commuting to your pet. I am available after 11 am on Monday and Wednesday, and after 7 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday depending on your location. On the weekends I am available after 1 pm on Saturday and any time on Sunday. I will work with you to provide the best service for you and your pet. While staying at a home I am willing to provide minor household care such as watering plants in addition to pet care. I am also able to provide off-site travel excursions for your dog of any size, if you would like a longer walk option. I am comfortable handling special care needs such as administering medication and supervising eating time.
