“We feel in great hands whenever we leave our dog with John. While we're away he stays in touch with photos and texts and when we return it's always clear that she's had a wonderful time. Thank you, thank you, John!”

“Nicole was absolutely amazing!!! She was so responsive, sent lots of pics and I’ve never seen my dog so happy in someone else’s home! 10/10 experience!!! Thank you Nicole for taking such perfect care of Misha!!!”

“Franny took wonderful care of my 14 year old Charlie overnight. She’s a very kind person and Charlie felt completely comfortable with her. He also got along well with her dog. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Brooke took excellent care of my dog. When I picked her up from Brooke's house, she was relaxed and calm, not anxious and pulling like she usually is when I return from a trip. Leah really enjoyed her stay with Brooke and she came home tired and happy. I appreciated Brooke's notes and pictures while we were away. I would not hesitate to recommend her and would love to use her services again.”

“Peter was such a wonderful sitter. His updates were timely and detailed and I felt confident that Nutmeg was cared for, happy, and healthy during her stay. I will definitely ask Peter to sit again if I’m ever in the area again.”

“Mary Ann watched Milo for me for a few hours. She took great care of him - tossing the ball with him immediately to get him settled. She also sent me photos & was communicative while I was gone. Thank you Mary Ann!”

“We just returned from a four day trip and couldn’t be happier with Karina’s care of our dog Milo. This is our third time having Karina watch Milo and we have continued to be impressed with her care. Milo started with a lot of anxiety but Karina’s experience in caring for dogs and her special attention to Milo made all the difference. We are so lucky to have found her.”

“Irene has been such a great find in the Berkshires! She always gives helpful communication with each stay, and Ruby seems to love her time with Irene (and her sweet dog Goldie). Thanks for all of the care that you give to Ruby - we'll see you soon!”

“Deanne was great!! First, she immediately allowed us to bring our dog to her home to see where he would be staying. She did not judge him based on size and breed but rather on his temperament and his potential fit with her family. She asked great questions before his stay and kept me informed during his visit.(she even sent photos and brief video) This was a great experience for us and Lucido!! We will be using her services again very soon!!!!”

“Kristina was an amazing sitter for Teddy! I’m giving her 5 stars for the great care she provided. She took Teddy on regular walks and kept me updated every day with detailed recaps, photos, and videos, which I really appreciated. She was very communicative and patient, especially when Teddy wasn’t eating much in a new environment. She made sure he was comfortable and took the time to help him adjust. She also administered his anxiety medication without any issues, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I would absolutely book with Kristina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“Candice was so nice and was easy to coordinate with. Her space was perfect for my dog and a plus that she let him on the furniture as he loves to chill out on the couch and bed. My dog seems to have a great time and I’m so thankful to have someone nearby.”

“Mary and Todd did an excellent job watching my Tobi. He has separation anxiety and they took good care of him, sending pictures and updates. I will definitely use there services again.”

“Jess was great! She was super flexible on a last-minute booking. My pup has almost boundless energy, but she came home happy and pretty worn out. We'll definitely be sending her to Jess again!”

“Yenifer took excellent care of my dog. He was so happy with her! She made sure she communicated everyday with us during the stay, sent us pictures and updates. We are very happy with her services and would strongly recommend her. Thank you, Yenifer.”

“Angela and Tommy were fantastic with our fur baby. They sent pictures and were responsive and best of all our dog is happy. We felt very at ease. Would use them again!”

About: I waitress, have taken care of seniors and am a certified yoga instructor. I have had cats, dogs, chicks, fish, hamsters. I currently do not own any pets. Pets to me are precious friends who are to be taken care of like children. With full attention, support and love. I work from home so I am able to provide that kind of care. I work from home (virtually) and can accommodate boarding weekdays and weekends. I keep a clean and tidy home and have a gorgeous park very close by. Pet care fits in my routine as I used to have a cat until recently. I care for pets with respect and integrity. Showing them love and care. Keeping them and the area around them clean. Accommodating to their needs by always keeping an eye for out for them.
About: My boys and I love dogs, and we love being at home, making us a fabulous choice for hosting your favorite loved one. Thank you for considering us! Hi, I’m David. I’m a stay-at-home dad to my two boys, Zenith and KoaSol, and we share our home with our dog, Magnolia — Maggie for short. We live on 10 private acres with open lawn, fields, gardens, and trails, far away from roads and traffic. We spend much of our time outdoors gardening, landscaping, cutting trails, playing, and caring for the property, so visiting dogs have plenty of fresh air, space, and attention. My boys are 11 and 5 and love dogs. They are excited to welcome new dog friends, while I remain solely responsible for all care, supervision, routines, and safety. Maggie is social, playful, and friendly, and she enjoys having other dogs around. I will respect your instructions and your dog’s normal routine as much as possible. Please share any important details about feeding, health, behavior, crate comfort, sleeping preferences, and how your dog does with children and other dogs. Meet-and-greets are welcome before booking, and I’m happy to send updates during your dog’s stay. My goal is to provide a safe, attentive, family-centered home where your dog is cared for with patience, respect, and genuine attention. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog will not be left alone for long periods. If we leave for errands, Maggie is comfortable in her crate, and we can offer the same option for your dog if they are crate-trained or feel secure that way. We also have a spare crate available, or you are welcome to bring your dog’s own bed, crate, blanket, or comfort items. While my kids are always game to play, I will be solely responsible for the care of your loved one!
“Katie watched our dog, who is almost 2, for a couple of nights recently. I was very comfortable dropping him off and leaving him with her and her family. I love the at home experience she gave him, as opposed to kennels. Our dog is on special food and she took great care to make sure he didn’t get into her pets’ food. We will definitely use Katie again to take care of Linus.”

“Amazing dog sitter, Kathleen! She really understands how to meet and great your dogs with her dogs and others. Definitely a dog whisperer no joke. Has a great safe yard, take them for walks and just overall comfortable atmosphere. Will recommend Kathleen any time 24/7 for your cool dogs.”

“Sydney did a great job taking care of Maya, our 50 lb lab mix. She was very responsive during the booking process, arrived right on time, and sent pictures of their walk together. She is very friendly and personable as well as being reliable, we would happily book her again the next time we are in town.”

“Ashley took amazing care of our two kitties while we were on our honeymoon. We were able to have a stress-free trip knowing we could count on her to be there twice a day to feed them AND spend time with them! I will definitely be booking Ashley next time we go away, and you should too! She’s very sweet and intentional with animals. ❤️”

My current cats are Callie and Lyra.

About: I’ve had cats since I was a little girl and have always loved caring for them. Over the years, I’ve also cared for many cats beyond my own and understand how important patience, comfort, and routine are for them. “Makayla is so sweet with our dog - making sure he's having fun and getting all his needs met. She is timely and an excellent communicator which gives us great peace of mind. We highly recommend her!”

“Stacey is such a trouper! She made it up to our place despite the treacherous road due to the snow storm. She took great care of our guys and even took pretty great photos of them every day. Leaving pets while we travel is stressful and Stacey was such a great sitter and took all of that worry away from us. We really appreciate her!”

“Clara did a wonderful job with my cat, Jake. She was communicative with me, sending pictures and updates. She took the time to brush him and give him special treats. He seemed very content and happy! I would absolutely book Clara again. Any pet and pet parent is lucky to have her providing excellent care!”

About: Growing up with my wonderful childhood dog led me to have a deep love for four legged friends! At 14, I began working as a dog grooming assistant... I can do all the basic pet grooming: bathing and drying, brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing (just don't actually cut hair). Throughout my young adult life, I've had the privilege of living with my roommates animals. From playing with a shy shelter dog, to leash training with puppies, and cuddling with various temperamented dogs and cats. I enjoy the love and happiness that pets spread! I recently relocated to the Berkshires while on a journey of self love and discovery. Currently, I have open availability and I am able to take care of your pets on your schedule! I take extreme pride in keeping my own home cleanly and organized and I will always ensure to treat your home the same way. And when it comes to your furry friends, I will be your pup's new best friend for tail-wagging walks and cozy companionship!

About: 🐾 Whether your family includes playful pups, curious cats, chatty birds, colorful fish, happy chickens, friendly goats, tiny hamsters, busy gerbils, or any other beloved pets, I care for them with the same love and attention I would give my own. I know there's no substitute for you, but while you're away, I will make sure your furry, feathered, and four-legged friends receive plenty of care, companionship, playtime, cuddles, and personalized attention to keep tails wagging and hearts happy. And because caring for a home goes hand in hand with caring for pets, I am also happy to help with everyday household tasks like watering plants, bringing in mail, managing trash and recycling, hanging pictures, and tackling small repairs. My goal is simple: happy pets, a cared-for home, and complete peace of mind for you. 🐾❤️🏡

“Lindsay did such a good job with Lily! She came over 3 times a day to let feed her, take her out, and exercise her. She has an incredible presence with dogs. Lily took to her immediately and she usually takes a long time with new people! I definitely plan on using Lindsay to help take care of my dogs in the future! She is always available and goes above and beyond when caring for your dog! I would trust her with my beloved Lily any day!”

“Trista was wonderful! She sent great pictures of all the pets. They all look so happy and well cared for. Great communication and followed all instructions. You can tell she really cares for your pets. We would highly recommend! 😊”

About: Hi there, I’m Chrissie, a dog lover with 15 years of pet care experience! Beyond prior pet care and volunteer experience, I’ve had plenty of foster dogs and my own, one less than active dog currently making it all the more fun for me to keep active dogs busy. I can care for and work with dogs with most any need both health wise and behaviorally. I love getting to know dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities and will be sure to follow any routine and needs they have as instructed. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions if I might be a fit for what you’re looking for whether a one-time or regular need. Always happy to do a free meet-and-greet as well. Wishing you the best as you find the right care for your furry family member(s)! Although notice is great, I am happy to take last minute bookings. With my work I can easily fit my schedule to your dog's typical exercise, engagement, and feeding routine. I would care for them however you request, and however they’re used to being taken care of. I’d follow whatever care instructions you provide along with any notes shared with me during our meet and greet.

“She was awesome taking care of our cats! She’s very good at giving oral medication so I felt comfortable with her giving meds to our boy. Thank you so much!!”

“Peter was great with my very energetic pup! He called a day before the appointment to make sure all my preferences are met. Very flexible with the times I requested. Most importantly, I was confident that my puppy was safe and enjoying himself. Peter’s home is dog friendly and he was kind enough to send me a picture of my beloved pup. Would definitely recommend!!”

About: We’ve been dog sitting and caring for pets for years and have built strong relationships with dozens of happy, reliable clients. Our goal is to make every dog and cat feel comfortable, safe, loved, and anxiety-free while you’re away. We have experience with high-energy, needy, and attention-seeking pets, and we always adapt to each animal’s personality and routine. Communication is very important to us, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pets are being cared for like family. I’m currently home full-time with my two boys, which gives me a very flexible and reliable schedule for pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and whatever your pet may need throughout the day. Because I’m home often, your pets will receive plenty of attention, care, supervision, and companionship instead of being left alone for long periods. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable, safe, and right at home. We have a very large private backyard with over an acre of space for dogs to enjoy and explore. While the yard is not fenced in, it is set far back from busy roads and offers a quiet, safe, and peaceful environment. Safety is extremely important to us, and all outdoor time is closely supervised. Our property is long and spacious with plenty of room for walks, playtime, and exercise while still maintaining privacy and a calm atmosphere for pets to feel comfortable and relaxed.
“Bruno had a wonderful time at Kathleen's beautiful place! The fully-fenced in green space for the dogs was so peaceful I wanted to stay myself. Kathleen has a calming manner which the dogs respond well too. I am contemplating more trips to the Berkshires now that I know Bruno has a safe place where he will be happy and well taken care of while I spend time at Jacob's Pillow or museums. Thank you!”

“We had such a great experience with Yenifer! Our dog, Rocky, absolutely enjoyed his stay—he came home happy and relaxed. Yenifer was incredibly kind and responsive, and even accommodated us on very short notice, which we really appreciated.”

About: Grew up on a farm caring for animals since my youth. now enjoy the company of visiting dogs, just like I had with my own. I currently work part-time and many situations able to bring a boarding dog with me; as I work with mostly older folks who would love the sweetness of a dog visit; considered therapy. I have a side fenced yard, safe from the road, and only do private walks in a comfortable grass field near my home, leashed and one at a time for individual attention.
“Irene was great with Sadie. Sadie loved playing with Goldie and loved the friendly and warm reception she got. Sadie was given both play and rest time and really looked really comfortable with Irene when I picked her up.”

“Sandra was outstanding! She was very flexible and was great about communicating. Her sweet dog was very good with my skittish dog Minnie who didn’t bark once when meeting her ( she usually gets scared and barks when first meeting) Sandra gave me photos and info about her day and was very flexible about changing pick up time. She has a beautiful home and lots of area for walking and exploring that I’m sure was fun for the dogs. I highly recommend Sandra!!!”

“Tetiana and her family have a loving, welcoming home and environment. We were met with smiles, shown around and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup. The communication during the booking process was great, as I had a number of questions. Tetiana was responsive and thorough. We found written Q&A better than a call. They were flexible with how we prefer care, food, exercise, rest, etc. We received nice pictures, videos and notes ... even though our stay was only 2 days. We will use Tetiana again when we have a need in the Berkshires, and I'd feel comfortable with longer if needed (and agreed upon). Each member of the family was fast friends with our dog.”

“Cindy is terrific! She is knowledgable, kind, and a very sweet person who clearly loves dogs. My pup Henry had a great first stay, and I would absolutely bring him back for another day of fun and play when we are in town again! :)”

“Karina was absolutely wonderful to work with. Everything was super clear and she took wonderful care of our fur baby. I felt confident and at ease the whole time. She has a lot of care and compassion for animals and its clearly evident by how she interacts with them. Our pup was happy as could be when I picked him up. I would highly recommend Karina!”

“Jess took great care of my pup and sent me lots of pics and updates throughout the day! She has a sweet dog, and her dog and mine played together all day. Uva came home fed, healthy and tired! Thank you Jess!”

“York had an amazing time playing with Shelby’s dogs. It was my first time leaving him with a sitter and I was nervous, but Shelby was very accommodating and responsive throughout the day. I would highly recommend her for your doggy daycare needs.”

About: My name is Jessica and I am a caring and fun person who has been caring for dogs since I was seven years old! Now I am 24 years old and do not have a dog anymore but still enjoy spending time with my friends pets and I dog sit for my neighbors. I am very active so I enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes. I live walking distance from a lake. If the dog I am taking care of feels comfortable in water then I will splash around with the dog in the lake (there are dirt roads in this area to walk the dog on too). I have had experience with a wide variety of breeds, so I feel pretty comfortable with any dog. I understand caring for a dog is similar to caring for a child. I am trustworthy and loving towards animals! I recently passed my board exam so now I am relaxing for some time & will begin my job hunt in February, 2022. Therefore, caring for a pet will fit perfectly into my current flexible daily routine. I do not live with any other pets & I create a safe environment by keeping the dog on the first level of my home only. On the first level I make sure that there are no hazards for the dog. In a client's home, I follow all of their reccomendations in order to keep the pet as comfortable & safe as possible.

“Camille was extremely reliable and caring for our two dogs! She came everyday rain or shine and would even check the weather and make recommendations to adjust the timing of the walk based on the weather that day. When she noticed the health of one of the dogs was not normal that day she notified us immediately so we could help the dog. She included updates about the dogs health in the following days. She was exactly what the doggies needed and she will be greatly missed while she is on her research trip!”

About: I have had pets throughout my life, and my deep love for animals is what makes me a great pet sitter. Regardless of the creature, I will love your animal and will provide the best care possible. I am infinitely playful and loving. I’m currently a stay at home mom and have a very flexible schedule. I have a lot of freedom while my children are at school between 7-3 and after 4:30 when my husband returns home from work. We have a very sweet miniature Dachshund who LOVES playing with other dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard and will take your pup for walks to ensure he/she is getting exercise. Our Dachshund can play with your dog inside, and can either accompany your dog on a walk or can stay behind while I walk your pup.

“Sydney was fantastic!! Chloe was so happy!! I would highly recommend Sydney to anyone! Chloe would too🐾❤️ certainly took the worry out of my days away knowing she was being taken care of so wonderfully!!”

About: As a retired Registered Nurse and a caretaker for my senior dog, I am comfortable with senior dogs, meds, general assessments and caring for special needs dogs and cats. As a country mom of four children, we had two horses, chickens, four rabbits, three cats and at times snakes and salamanders under my kids’ bed...without knowing…at any time, any of these critters if not already in our house, could be in our house! My longest sit was three months as a ranch sitter in Colorado, I cared for two horses, two donkeys, chickens, three sheep, two lambs, a cat and dog. Currently, I sit locally for friends and family…walks, day care and overnights. I’m available most days to walk, play, sit or just hang out with your pets! I do travel to see family, best for all to reach out ahead of your desired dates and services. I am available on a case by case basis for overnight sits in my home. Currently, I don’t have a dog or a cat which gives me flexibility. My yard is not fenced, I walk all dogs on the leash. I take the lead/instructions from the owners. I suggest we all meet before any service and if needed we meet a few times in order for the pet and parents to feel safe and comfortable.
About: I’ve been caring for both dogs and cats almost my entire life! It started with asking my neighbor if I could walk her dog when I was 8 years old, and I’ve never looked back! Since, I’ve watched countless animals (sheep and cows too!) and also have spent a lot of time volunteering at local animal shelters in Los Angeles and while studying at college in Maine. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments of dogs, and can provide any service (think all the way from couch potato to a long hike!) I’m committed to keeping all animals safe, healthy, and happy no matter what, and am excited to help in any way! I am able to walk dogs on my days off from my service, and can sometimes even manage to walk dogs around my schedule, usually later in the day. I have a fenced yard, gates up inside of the house, and another dog (a 4 year old Golden Retriever) as well as two adults living in the house, offering great safety and security in the environment. My dog is not currently with me, but because I have experience of living with animals, it’s quite easy for me to adapt to someone else’s space with animals! I prefer a clean, organized space where animals feel calm.

“Ashley is a delight. She was very communicative and caring about our elderly dog with special needs. We only needed her to come and take him for a walk, but he is blind and deaf and also wears a diaper. She let us know when she got to our house and sent pictures afterwards. We felt very comfortable with her and will definitely be using her again.”

About: I am a pre-veterinary student at Cornell University available for house-sitting and drop in visits. I have over 500 hours of veterinary experience and can provide basic first aid in the event of an emergency. I am responsible, neat, reliable, and look forward to caring for your pet! I am a full-time student, but have a very flexible schedule to accommodate your and your pet's needs. My preferred working times are early morning and evening. I do not offer services in my own home, but I have experience working in other peoples homes caring for their pets. I am an extremely diligent and cleanly person that will make sure both your pets and your home are cared for.
About: Please note: Pricing can be flexible depending on the situation, length of stay, and number of pets. I’m always happy to talk through the details! I’ve been pet sitting for over 15 years and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m one of those people who naturally gravitates toward dogs wherever I go. I also have six dogs of my own (including large breeds), so managing different personalities, routines, and energy levels is something I’m very comfortable with. These days I focus on in-home pet sitting, because most pets are happiest staying in their own space and keeping their normal routine. I know how hard it can be to leave your animals when you travel, so my goal is always to make it feel like they’re just hanging out with a friend who loves dogs as much as you do. I have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages — from energetic young pups to seniors who need a little extra patience and care. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following detailed instructions to make sure everything stays consistent while you’re away. I’m very attentive and tend to get pretty attached to the animals I care for. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and getting lots of attention while you’re gone. If you’re looking for someone experienced, reliable, and genuinely excited to spend time with your pets, I’d love to connect. Pet care is part of our everyday life! My wife and I both work remotely about 90% of the week, which gives us plenty of time and flexibility to care for our own six dogs — and any visiting pets, too. Our days naturally revolve around feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles, so incorporating other pets into that rhythm fits right in. In our home, pets are treated like family. We have a spacious, safe property with fenced areas for play and exercise, and we keep routines consistent with what each pet is used to, including feeding schedules, walks, and downtime. Since my wife and I both work from home most of the week, someone is almost always here to give attention and care. For client homes, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible - from meals and walks to playtime and cuddles - to keep them comfortable and stress-free in their own environment.

“We feel in great hands whenever we leave our dog with John. While we're away he stays in touch with photos and texts and when we return it's always clear that she's had a wonderful time. Thank you, thank you, John!”

“Peter was such a wonderful sitter. His updates were timely and detailed and I felt confident that Nutmeg was cared for, happy, and healthy during her stay. I will definitely ask Peter to sit again if I’m ever in the area again.”

About: I’ve grown up with Chinchillas, Cats, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens, & Reptiles. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times
“My dog was well taken care of and didn't spend my vacation locked up in a kennel, so I didn't have to worry about her. Aura sent pictures and updates every day, and I was very happy with the whole situation.”

“My dog had a wonderful day with Manolita!! She’s so kind and caring and made us both feel comfortable! When I picked him up from his stay he was very comfortable and calm, which was a great sign! She also sent pictures and updates throughout the day, which I loved! I highly recommend her!”

“Thanks to Rebecca, we enjoyed an amazing concert on our vacation and didn't worry about our dog for a second. She put me at ease before I ever met her. She happily anwered my questions and she asked questions that showed me that she really wanted to make our dog's stay pleasant. Her warmth and love for dogs was apparent as soon as I met her. And it was apparent to my dog, too-- she immediately connected to her. I told Rebecca that our dog loves to play fetch, and Rebecca played fetch with her as we drove away. While we were at our concert, Rebecca texted me to let me know our dog was doing great. She told us that our dog was playing with her dogs and that she and her husband had taken all three on a walk. She also sent along a few photos. When we went to pick our dog up, she was happy. to see us but didn't run to our car. She went back to Rebecca-- maybe to say goodbye! We had such a wonderful time at our concert and it was all thanks to Rebecca. We will definitely book her again! And we know our dog will be thrilled to see her!!”

“Christine is fantastic. My dog is super happy at her place—he has some rescue-dog type separation anxiety, and the environment at Christine’s makes him very comfortable.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for people my whole life. From shitzu’s, to lab mixes. I also have two rescues of my own who I’ve worked very hard with to make comfortable and feel loved after there trauma. I am currently a full time teacher so I’m available mostly weekends. Come summer time, other than a part time job I’ll be available often. I have two high energy dogs who love to play. We do not have a fenced in yard, but it is large with woods all around. We also have a lead set up for dogs who are a flight risk.
“If you like your dog tired when you pick him up, just leave him at Magnolia’s for a few days. He didn’t want to leave! Wonderful experience. Will definitely be a repeat customer.”
