About: I have been dog and cat-sitting for over 5 years, with lengths of stay ranging from one day to one month at a time! I have taken care of up to 3 pets at a time. I grew also grew up with two cats and two dogs that lived long and happy lives full of love. I am also a wildlife biologist who works with wild birds, so my love for animals runs deep! I have a generally wide open schedule currently. I am a seasonal wildlife biologist home for a few months at a time. I will be in Great Barrington until the beginning of April, away from April to mid-June, and then back for the summer. I am happy to come to your house to pick up your dog for walks or to drop in to feed or play with your dogs/cats! We can also meet in a public place to hand off your pup if you prefer.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. I also volunteered at Pooch Palace, where I served as a companion for dogs and helped with their daily care, including feeding, walks, playtime, and providing comfort. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to care for their dogs while they’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on making sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. I’m able to accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and sitting throughout the week, as well as weekends. I plan my time carefully to make sure each pet receives the attention, care, and consistency they need I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every home I work in. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, feeding instructions, and any special care needs. I make sure pets are supervised, secure, and comfortable at all times. I also respect clients’ homes and provide regular updates so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

About: Ive had pets my whole life, from reptiles to birds to our furry friends. Ive done it all! Loving and caring for animals is one of my greatest passions, Ive been taught from a very young age to treat our lovely companions with the greatest kindness and respect. As a college student ill be able to take care of your pets before and after my classes! I of course can discuss details when booking! I am very detail oriented when it comes to our companions, I will adjust to the schedule you have set for them! As a pet owner i understand the importance of keeping your pets comfortable and happy.

About: I've had my pets in my life but i've also looked after many pets. Sometimes I have had to look after more than one dog at a time and different ages and breeds. There has been times i have had to sleep over night with pets. I always feel a connection or a bond between animals as I believe they know our true intentions. m-f I Work at my main job which is at Webster Bank usually until 4 PM, But have off on holidays and weekends. Some nights I work late but I usually have a month ahead of what my schedule looks like. I treat anyone else's property as if it were my own or better than my own. I treat pets delicately and I like to find out what they are into, how they have fun, what treats they like etc. I am a very straight forward person and I am great communicating with. I work in my local surrounding towns and looking how I can serve.

About: Hi y'all! I am an all around animal lover. My girls and I take any dogs that we are watching on walks with us every night, we have lots of fun. Pets are allowed on the furniture, unless you state explicitly state you don't want them to be. I prefer not to kennel overnight, but there are always exceptions to the rule! I am able to help with puppies and older pups alike; age is not an issue. Please ask any questions you may have for me, thank you so much we can’t wait to meet you! I am currently working part time but I am always available for nightly drop ins or for any early morning stops on my way in. I am always respectful of your safety protocols, gates are always double and triple checked, doors are always checked to be shut correctly. Food and water levels are consistently monitored. Instructions are always followed to the letter.

About: I am a huge dog lover and always have been. I have been pet sitting for over 10 years and have 6 dogs of my own! I understand the struggles of wanting to go away but not wanting to kennel your dog. I love having dogs around and will spoil your little furry friend! We have 7 acres for your dog to roam with us, a kiddie pool to cool off in and lots of attention to give! I have experience with all types of dogs, and all ages! I can administer medications as well. I have numerous years of experience, as well as client and vet references. I can accommodate most special requests and will give daily updates and photos of your pets vacation! Pet care is part of our everyday life! My wife and I both work remotely about 90% of the week, which gives us plenty of time and flexibility to care for our own six dogs — and any visiting pets, too. Our days naturally revolve around feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles, so incorporating other pets into that rhythm fits right in. In our home, pets are treated like family. We have a spacious, safe property with fenced areas for play and exercise, and we keep routines consistent with what each pet is used to, including feeding schedules, walks, and downtime. Since my wife and I both work from home most of the week, someone is almost always here to give attention and care. For client homes, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible - from meals and walks to playtime and cuddles - to keep them comfortable and stress-free in their own environment.

About: I’ve been taking care and rescuing animals my whole life I’ve brought in and taken care of so many animals. I’m fully aware how to take the correct care for puppies, seniors dogs and cats, and kittens, as well as administer medications and accommodate those pets that may need the extra help. i strive to make them happy and to help in whatever way I can! Im home 80% of the time allowing for plenty of time outside, play, and mental stimulation. Every pets need are taken care of and met. I have a schedule for feedings and walk time. My dogs have designated play time, as well as training and treats. Training is a major factor of mine, I’m always getting dogs to be more confident and try out new tricks.

My young adult cat Suki had never been left alone with someone she didn’t already know. In my absence, however, Christine eased her way into Suki’s territory by setting the right balance between showing her some quiet attention and giving her the time and space she needed to adjust and come out of her shell. The photos Christine sent me proved that once she had won Suki over, the little kitty was her sweet, affectionate self and the two of them had a delightful time together! I will be asking Christine to Suki-sit in my house again!”

About: I have been taking care of pets, including dogs, cats, and even parrots, since I was a tween! I have a lot of experience taking care of elderly and sick pets and have medical training from my time in the US Air Force, and can give medications orally, dermally, or by injection. I have loved animals since I was a kid, went on to get a PhD in parrot ecology, and now work as a Wildlife Biologist! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to accommodate most people's needs. I am extremely flexible and willing to work with folks to ensure their pets' needs are covered. I believe open communication and clear expectations are key to making sure everyone's needs are met. I will work with you and your pets to ensure their schedules and needs are fully met in your home.

About: I have done petsitting for dogs and cats, and have both as pets myself. I love animals and I feel comfortable making sure they are well cared for, from food to walks to playing with them outside. I am reliable and really enjoy taking care of pets, so I am always on time and would never want to leave a pet alone for a long time. My schedule varies day to day and week to week. I am open to scheduling services ahead of time but am open to short notice as well! I am not currently offering care in my own home as my yard is not fenced in and my home is too small to allow more animals enough space.

About: Animals have been the heart of my home since I was a child. Growing up with Labs, German Shepherds, and Mastiffs taught me how to be a confident leader and a compassionate caregiver. Today, my black cat Squirt is my best friend, and that same love I have for him is what I bring to every pet I sit for. ​I pride myself on being a trustworthy and caring sitter. When you leave your pets with me, you can rest easy knowing they are in the hands of someone who genuinely loves their company. I am happy to accommodate different sizes, energy levels, and personalities—I simply love being around animals and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. “We hired Janice to take care of our dog, Drew, at our wedding, which he took part in. Drew is a rescue and can sometimes take a little time to warm to new people. Janice was patient with Drew and took great care of him! Janice fed Drew, walked him and sent us pictures and texts with updates about how he was doing. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for 20+ years. Would love to care for yours now. I am physically fit and strong enough to walk large dogs. I work full time do am really only available for house sitting on Sundays(all day and night) and Monday mornings. I am though available for drop in visits or dog walking on other days. If you live local to me and your animal is ok to be left alone while i am at work then maybe I could watch your animal other days during the week. Happy to hang out with pets. Love taking dogs for walks!!! Giving medicine is not a problem. I am good with dogs and cats of all ages.
