“Candace is great to work with. I reached out for dog walking my two rescues. They have some quirks and she manages them well. I’m happy she’s available when I need her. I will use her service again.”

About: I’ve taken care of friends, family and neighbors dogs since I was 11. I love all dogs of all ages and have 2 large dogs of my own. I’m currently finishing up my masters degree and won’t be working all summer so I’ll have lots of availability for walks and drop ins as needed. I have two very friendly dogs but have dog gates and crates space is ever needed or for when I may have to leave home.

About: For the past 12 years I've worked as a full time dog walker and pet sitter. Before that I worked as a Vet Assistant for which I went to school for. I was trained on handling pets in stressful situations, prepping and assisting in surgeries, administering medications and injections. I'm available for dog walking and pet sitting Monday through Sunday. I have very open availability and can work with the owners to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I service all of Albuquerque. I do not provide services for Placitas, East Mountains or Rio Rancho, I can provide pet sitting in my home. I can do pet sitting in your home and can go by as often as needed for as long as needed. I do not take my clients dogs to dog parks. I also never allow them off leash nor do I use retractable leashes. I can provide my own leash if necessary.

“Kristen did a great job with my dogs. I always hesitate to leave them with anyone but will definitely use her again! Appreciated all the pictures and her willingness to contact if she didn't know what to do. My dogs also just love her!”

About: Growing up around dogs of all breeds has taught me about their unique personalities, preferences, and safety. I believe every animal deserves love and pampering—whether they’re couch potatoes or full of energy, I adapt quickly! Comfortable with both small and large dogs, I’ve seen it all—so nothing fazes me. As a big advocate for exercise, I’ll make sure active pups get plenty of walks. And don’t worry—your pet will get all the love and care they deserve. I’ve got plenty to give! I currently have an open schedule as I am returning to school come the fall semester. Once that begins, I will still be very open as most of my classes are online. I stick to their routine, dietary needs, and favorite activities (walks, playtime, or cuddles!). Safety and love come first, and I always keep owners updated. Dogs enjoy structured outings, while cats get play or space, depending on their mood. I adapt to each pet’s unique personality to keep them happy and comfortable!

About: I have been caring for animals since my childhood and have several of my own. I am a veterinary assistant and am comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes, as well as with responsibilities such as administering medication, walks, special diets, etc. I work and go to school part time. I have the most freedom on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, but can also periodically check on your pet on the other days of the week. I can do overnights as well. I will work with your pets needs whether that is specific feeding times, a walking schedule, or other routines that you and your pet typically do.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have spent years caring for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors. I also have some light training experience. I’m a night owl but can be up early too, so I’m happy to take on late night or early morning pet care as needed. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of care needs. I’m calm, confident, and attentive with animals, and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I'm a mature, patient, and responsible woman with an enthusiastic love for animals. I would be honored if you you'd allow me to put my years of responsibility and experience to use with your fur family! I have a very flexible schedule and a huge heart. Pets have given me so much for so little in exchange. I have all the time and energy for the doggos that need it! I have a two-story townhouse with a fenced-in yard. We have a dog run in our gated community and several parks close by for sniffing exploration.

“Great! Thank you for taking care of Rooger for the week.”

“Coda absolutely adores Jennifer. I saw it first hand when I was home due to an illness and she came to walk Coda when I am usually in class. It was heartwarming to see.”

About: I have always had dogs in my life! I’ve taken care of large dogs of various breeds as well as small pups. I enjoy the different personalities that each dog has and would love to take care of yours! We have a 4 year old Lab that would love to have another dog to play with and keep her company! I am working from home and available everyday unless out of town, my schedule is very flexible! We would love to host your fur baby as one of our own! We have a fenced in back yard and turf for the dogs to run and play! Our pups are pretty spoiled and have free roam of the house. We allow them to sleep in the bed but also have many dog beds throughout the house and will follow whatever routine or rules you set to continue your pups routine.

About: I have been with dogs since my earliest years and had my own dog for many of the last 40 years. I have trained many of those dogs from puppyhood and look forward to training any dog that the owners feel comfortable with. I'm retired and have plenty of time to care for and play with your pet. I miss walking my own dog twice a day, and your dog will always be walked often. I have a nice sized fenced yard, and a home that housed a dog for many years. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and the house is safe for dogs.

About: I have past experience in administering medicine including insulin and pills, as well as cleaning litter boxes, picking up dog poop, and feeding bearded dragons. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

About: I have always had a great connection with dogs and puppies. I grew up on a small farm from my home town. Taking care of animals was usually a dad-today activity for me. I’m starting college in the fall to study veterinary and help our little Friends/ Family, to ensure there safety and great time. Pet care fits right into my daily routine because it’s something I’m going into school for. Being around animals for is a very helpful and mind positive activity. I’m studying a lot of different animals, including dogs. I have a park just around the corner for your fur baby to get some fresh air. I also have a puppy of my own who would love some company and also keep your fur baby active. I recommend being at the clients home for sitting

james S.Star Sitter
“Jim , my good friend for the past twenty years, was a trusted pet sitter for our two dogs and two cats on many occasions, from only a few days to a couple of months when we traveled abroad. Besides the great care he showed our beloved pets, he himself was a dog owner for a couple of decades, sharing his life with Jake, his beautiful heeler mix and constant companion. Jim's connection to animals is intuitive and heartfelt, and he would be a great animal care giver in any capacity.”

Syanne P.
“Syanne has extensive experience taking care of both dogs and cats. She recently watched our cats (and house) while we were away for 5 weeks. The cats adore her! She is mature, responsible and takes care to follow instructions and keep the house up. She even watered our plants! I would highly recommend her for watching your pets and/or house. -Laurie”
