“Emily was great with our dogs and cats. She sent multiple pictures daily and kept us updated on what was going on at home! I felt comfortable leaving her with our pets while we were gone. I will definitely use her again!”

“This was my first time leaving my dog for more than a day and my first time using Rover services so I was definitely nervous… but I didn’t need to be! Holly did great taking care of my boys and I can tell they were well cared for, played with, and cuddled. She was great to communicate with and left the house in great shape. I will definitely be using her again if I’m in need ◡̈”

“We returned home to two happy and healthy dogs and our house was just as we left it. Brooke is responsive and provides updates and pictures which is always appreciated.”

“Genevieve stayed at our house to watch Marlow for the weekend. She did a great job, was super communicative, and sent lots of pictures. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Deborah was fantastic! She watched my 10 year old rescue lab mix for a week, who required daily meds and lots of attention. She made adjustments to make sure she kept up with regular meds and eating. She also provided frequent updates and pictures! ❤️ Highly recommend!”

“Hannah was so amazing! she was able to help me out very last minute. came over beforehand to go over mavericks routine. and kept me updated throughout the day. would definitely recommend her! :)”

“This was our first time using Rover or an in house sitter. We have anxiety about leaving our two dogs as one is old and clingy and the other can be difficult. Claire quickly but us at ease upon meeting here. She obviously has a love for and great sense of pet's needs and personalities. She updated us daily with texts and pictures. Claire went over and above by bringing in delivered packages and doing laundry before she left. Most importantly....our Lucy and Chester had so much fun with her and we're well cared for!! We will definately be using Claire again in the future.”

“Kelsey went above & beyond with my dog, Nalah!! She took her to the dog park, for multiple walks, and sent photo and video updates throughout the day. My dog was smiling ear to ear in each photo- Highly recommend. Will def be using Kelsey again!!”

“We had such a great experience with our dog and house sitter, Norah. She took such wonderful care of Bentley and kept us updated the whole time, which we really appreciated. We came home to a happy pup and a clean house, and it gave us total peace of mind knowing Bentley was in such good hands. It’s clear Norah truly cares and treats your home and pets like her own. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her.”

“I do not know where to start other than Hillary went above and beyond for my furbabies Piper and Paislee. The night before Hillary was suppose to come stay at the house Paislee became very ill and was at emergency vet from 615pm until 6 am. I explained everything that was going on to Hillary and for not ever watching Piper and Paislee she was very attentive to Paislee as we had to leave 2.5 hours after getting her home to the airport. I cooked everything I needed and left all medications on the counter and let her know the times of next doses. She seemed comfortable with everything and I couldn’t have been lucky enough to find her. She used her best judgment and I couldn’t have been anymore blessed with her caring PIper and Paislee. I was able to get updates about every other day due to our traveling plans. I let her know many times how grateful I was. Then I came home to a beautiful letter and she washed all the blankets from the dogs, towels, and the guest room bedding. She do not have to do that but I am grateful. Hillary went way above and beyond caring for our dogs. Thank you Hillary from the bottom rny heart!!!!!!!!”

“Melissa was great with our pups! She took videos and pictures each day, which made being away less stressful! She left the house just as it was. Overall great experience!”

“Ricky was fantastic. Stewie felt so comfortable with him, and we can tell Ricky took care of him as if he was his own. Will definitely be booking Ricky for future dog sitting needs.”

“We couldn’t be more grateful for Ivana. We have one dog that is very particular and fearful of new people, and another that is a big goof. The combo of them makes for quite the time but Ivana was up for the challenge. I appreciate how she takes time to learn the details of the dogs, provides great updates, and is just an overall compassionate wonderful person. It has been a sigh of relief while we’re away to know she’s keeping them safe and cared for. :)”

“Erin did a great job taking care of our dogs. This was our first time using Rover, and Erin made sure to meet our dogs beforehand and check in detail to ensure she had all the details of their care nailed down. She sent us regular updates and checkins (much appreciated), and knowing our dogs were in good hands made it possible to enjoy our vacation.”

“Colene was fabulous! She helped ease my anxiety for leaving our pup with a stranger as we were in town for a concert this weekend. She loved our boy - if you use her, you won’t be disappointed”

About: Dogs are family, and I approach taking care of dogs the same way I took care of kids when I was a nanny. As a dog parent of 2, my passion goes beyond basic care— their safety and your peace of mind comes first, but creative physical activity and mental enrichment is a priority for me too! I would love to help your little loved ones thrive and grow with engaging play and activities tailored to their individual needs. I am well-versed in positive reinforcement training and have worked with my dogs on reactivity and using the talking buttons successfully! My dogs are the center of my life, and my spouse and I have the long-term goal of using our careers to fund an animal rescue program that we can dedicate the rest of our lives to. I have a very adaptable schedule that allows me to have plenty of open availability and flexibility with pet sitting, drop-in’s, and walking. I am both an early riser and a night owl, and I enjoy staying active. Your dog is a priority, not a “task”, to me. Every dog deserves personalized care and attention based around their routine and personality. Dogs get my full attention, fun, engaging play, safety, comfort, responsiveness to their needs and attentiveness to the ways that they communicate. They are never unsupervised with any type of food or treat to prevent choking, and my “parental” style is to redirect behavior and reinforce positive behavior rather than punish.
Highland Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kasidee was a great house sitter for our Great Dane over spring break. She provided lots of pup dates and was very communicative. It’s our first time using Rover and Kasidee was wonderful at walking us through the process. We would definitely hire her again. Thank you Kasidee!

Riley took great care of our dog and our home, and kept us updated with photos and messages the entire time. We came home to a happy pup and a spotless house. Communication was great. Riley was quick to respond and proactive with updates. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!
Julieanne was very conscientious about following my cat's rather complicated feeding requirements. She reached out to ask for extra ideas on how to get my territorial old grump to play, and succeeded in getting him to play with her. He even allowed some pets. I appreciate her caring for my kitty!

This was our first time leaving our young dogs home for several days and I was a bit nervous. We did a meet and greet before hand and Josh was completely at ease with a confident and sweet demeanor with the dogs who took to him quickly. He was very attentive to all their needs exceeding so keeping in contact with photos and updates. We will definitely have him back again in the future!

Phil did an an amazing job watching my 2 dogs over a long holiday weekend. He was very attentive from the get go to understand my dog's needs and how he could best meet those needs while I was gone. One of my dog's is still a puppy that struggled with potty training and Phil did great with making sure he stayed on a schedule and no accidents in the house since I've been home. I came home to a clean house and happy dogs and couldn't be happier
