About: Hello! I am a huge animal lover, who regrets not pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Animals have been my passion, love, and a needed presence for my entire life; in fact, my first word was kitty. As a child I researched animals of all kinds, and still do today. I love to train and play with dogs, snuggle with cats, ride horses, sing with the birds, make kissy faces at fish, etc. I often research natural pet care(& for humans!), training for all animals. About: I’ve had dogs in my household since I was 5, meaning I’m skilled in taking care of dogs and am ready for anything they might need. I’ve dogs at for multiple neighbors of the years, and many of those dogs have been old dogs with specific instructions to keep them healthy. I’ve done multiple weeks of overnight care for dogs as well as simple daycare or dog walks for people that need help. I have a part-time job with schedule hours that change each week, but none of those hours include nighttime’s. I am willing to take your pet even last minute if I am capable. In my home, I make sure to let the dog out first thing in the morning and right before bed to allow them to use the bathroom as needed. In my household I take my dog for a walk around 9 every morning and 5 every night, then feeding him at 6pm. Other food given to him includes a treat in the morning and a couple in the afternoon that I put in his bowl. About: Hi, I'm Kat, and I've had dogs for most of my adult life. From adopting a Ridgeback who loved "walking on water" to caring for my brother's senior pug in his final years and now with a senior Aussie and a Beagle/Lab mix puppy and everything in between. Mybdogs are spoiled in the ways they need to be. Sometimes it's belly rubs for days or an extra cookie during the holidays. Sometimes it's just keeping them comfortable. I've also dog sat for friends and family for over 10 years. Sometimes I will go to thier house and stay so the dogs can keep thier schedules. Other times they will come have a staycation with thier BFF (my dog) Bailey. I'm obsessed with dogs and I haven't met a single dog I haven't loved right away!! My two dogs now get walked 2-3 times a day--rain, snow, sleet, or shine! We live in an area that is very safe area with limited vehicle traffic. I am able to crate at my home and am familiar with crating dogs outside of my home.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
