About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and enjoy their company. I had two Labradors and four cats sharing my home, who have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My sister has a middle-aged rescue brindle, a two-year-old calico cat, and a Retriever puppy that I assist caring for which fills that furry gap. My diversity in caring for old and young dogs is extensive along with varieties of dogs from Labradors to Pittbull-mixes to Bassett Hounds. I love how pets fill our hearts with love and affection and I enjoy being with them, caring and playing with them. Being retired I can spend as much time as needed to care for your fur babies. My versatile schedule allows me availability to be with them whenever needed to let them out, play, feed and check on them. I look forward to meeting them, and you. I have done house and pet sitting for many years bringing experience and attention to every home and pet I meet. One of my goals is to bring comfort when you are away knowing your home and pets are well cared for. My first priority is to be mindful of the location of each dog and cat while there. Safety is most important, being aware of closed doors and gates to avoid any mishaps and alert to anything on the floor or within reach that could be ingested. Every pet has their unique habits and I am careful to learn those from you and them and focus on their needs. I enjoy giving people that comfort knowing their fur babies and their home are in good hands.
“I’ve been using Brigit as my go-to drop-in sitter for my cat for maybe 2 years now. I’ve recommended her to multiple friends and she is wonderful with my needy senior cat. She communicates clearly and efficiently, follows my sometime changing instructions, and has wonderful availability. I’ll be using her house sitting services for the first time soon and I can only imagine that my kitty will be stoked to have her around. I truly appreciate Brigit and all she has done for my kitty and I.”
About: I started volunteering at vet clinics in 2006. I've been caring for other people's pets since 2012, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced with special needs animals, elderlies, and those recovering from surgery. I've completed over 100 volunteer hours walking rescue dogs at Animal Humane New Mexico (AHNM). I am comfortable working with some behavioral challenges. Completed training: 2026 Fear Free Shelters program “Play Groups, Meet-and-Greets, and Dog Fight Response Training.” AHNM 2025 “Advanced Dog Walker Training" AHNM “Calming Canines Training" AHNM 2024 “Safe Dog Walker Training" AHNM I've also been volunteering at spay/neuter events since 2016. Some of my photos are from those. Please note that I am not representing any organization. I work from home and I make my own schedule. I wake up before 6 am so I am available early. Helping out with pets is my favorite thing to do! Outside the home or your fenced yard, dogs will be on-leash and distanced from other animals and people. I do not mix animals from different homes.
“Jenny was great. I will definitely use her again in the future and you should too. Daily check ins, my boy Bruno loved her, he was very comfortable with her and I could see that she took great care of him.”

“Skyler did such a great job catsitting for our two kitties!! She was very communicative and sent pictures while we were gone. Skyler made sure she knew how to administer our cats medications before we left, and we felt confident in her with her past experience. I would definitely recommend Skyler to anyone needing a reliable pet sitter:)”

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. For your peace of mind, I’m happy to provide daily updates with photos and messages, so you always know your pet is safe, relaxed, and having a great time.

I am attentive to detail and will make sure your pets and home are taking care of to the highest degree. Please reach out with any questions and I look forward to giving you peace of mind while you are away. I'm currently on summer vacation, so I will have plenty of time to give your pets attention and love! I am available to drop in for a visit or stay at your home. If I am already booked for a house stay, no worries, I can still check in on your pets! I can send lots of photos and videos to give peace of mind. Your pets will receive the highest quality of care, and I am happy to follow any special instructions for each and every one. I guarantee a save environment and happy animals!

Anika was absolutely wonderful watching my pets while I was away. She took such great care of my two older cats, Khaleesi and Dwight, and also kept up with my younger, very active dog Milo — which is no small task! She was attentive, reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about each of their individual personalities and needs. My older cats were comfortable and relaxed when I returned, and Milo was happy, exercised, and well cared for. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I would absolutely trust Anika again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!
