About: Hi! My name is Deja, and I’m someone who has loved and cared for animals my entire life. I grew up with both cats and dogs and currently have experience caring for multiple pets of my own, including 4 cats and 2 dogs. Over the last 1–2 years, I’ve also gained hands-on pet care experience outside of my own home. As a therapist, compassion, patience, and attentiveness are a huge part of who I am, and I bring those same qualities into the care I provide for every pet. What makes me stand out is the level of care, patience, and emotional attentiveness I bring to animals. I genuinely see pets as beings with feelings, emotions, and unique personalities, and I treat them with the same kindness and respect I would give another person. Being a therapist has strengthened my ability to be calm, observant, trustworthy, and responsive to individual needs, which helps pets feel comfortable and secure around me. I don’t just “watch” pets — I build connection, provide comfort, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently work part-time as a therapist while continuing to grow my caseload. Pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy and intentionally include in my schedule because caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. Since I work part time, I’m able to dedicate focused attention, patience, and quality care to the pets I work with rather than treating it like a rushed side job. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and emotional needs, so I approach each animal with compassion, empathy, and attentiveness. Whether your pet needs playtime, comfort, companionship, or gentle patience, I will treat them with the same love and care I would give my own pets.

About: I grew up raising chickens & took care of them for 8 years! Raising them from chicks to hens - and taking care of all the coop cleaning, fence maintenance, and feeding & water refills. I have petsat through Rover (since 2024) and TrustedHouseSitters (since 2022). I also love animals. I've become good friends with all my friends' pets. Love Dogs & Cats - both! Some Pets I Have Petsat include: - 1 American short hair female cat - 1 older Maltese dog - male - 2 dogs ( Mini Australian Shepherd, Small Golden Doodle - 2 males) - 2 cats ( 2 half brother male cats) - 1 younger dog - pitbull mix with daily anxiety Med requirements - 1 older cat - 5 furbabies together = 1 pitbull mix male, 1 chihuahua mix female, 1 American short hair male cat, 1 American short hair female cat I have worked in Hospitality @ 2 different businesses (spanning 6 years) - and worked in the room cleaning & turnover aspect. Through my petsitting on Rover and TrustedHouseSitters, I always do a thorough cleanup of the house before leaving- removing dust and debris that piles up. Available to petsit overnight or do walks & checkins. Currently working as a substitute teacher (per diem) and working on personal projects. Able to be with animals most of the day. Have experience petsitting for groups of animals, up to 5 long term ( 3 cats, 2 dogs), often 2 dogs at a time, or 2 cats at a time. I also make sure to keep the house clean during and after - checking the mail regularly and keeping it in a bag or box for you on your return. I have worked in Hospitality @ 2 different businesses (spanning 6 years) - and worked in the room cleaning & turnover aspect. Through my petsitting on Rover and TrustedHouseSitters, I always do a thorough cleanup of the house before leaving- removing dust and debris that piles up. I make sure to feed the pets based on what their owner has prescribed and follow the routine! I also try to provide the dogs as much exercise as I can - if this is suggested -- so they get exercise and get to run around outside. For cats, I always clean the litterbox 2x a day - and spend time with them playing or cuddling. Dogs get loads of cuddles, scritches, and backmassages too. If you have cats that are part time outdoor cats and also indoor cats -- I will only let the cats out, while I am at the house 100% of the time and supervising them, as I want to ensure that your pets are safe.

About: I’ve taken care of foster cats, chicken, and dogs larger than me for over a decade! Folk have often relied on me whenever a safe presence is needed for their animals to gain trust around. I am currently a freelance artist, so I have a lot of free time to take care of your animals! I also adore the outdoors, so any sort of walks around neighborhoods are also a yes! Pets are family, period. They deserve the respect and love anyone else should get, so my approach to mine wouldn’t be any different to yours. Mine are regularly groomed, played with, trained well enough to respond to my voice, the works. They get all the affection and yummy treats as well!

About: All my life my mother had multiple cats at once so I was always helping take care of them and any kitten I brought home I was than responsible for. I helped trap and netur cats as well as kittens to foster than be apoted. I don't have a job currently so I am available pretty much everyday and I can work around whatever the needs of my client are Potty breaks will be leashed walks on the neighborhood road and backyard grass, if dog is not ok will cats, cats will be put into their own separate environment away from dog and I have a friendly gsd that loves playdates. I only have one floor so they will only have access to their own food or water. I have plenty of toys and mental enrichment toys as well they have access too

About: My family has owned a pet sitting business in Stroudsburg, called IOU Pet Care, for 15+ years. The first job I ever had was going to people’s homes and walking their pups for an hour, checking food and water bowls as well as litter boxes, or even staying the night there. For the past 15 years, since I was 15 years old, I’ve cared for almost every species of house pet you can think of, in just about every way that the owners needed. I genuinely love animals. Playing with them, training them, caring for them, it’s such a rewarding experience for both of us. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own, and they make my life so much better. I’m always building cat walls and catios, new interactive toys for the dogs, and whatever else I can do to give them all the best lives they could possibly have. When working with my family’s business, it’s always been “customized pet care needs.” I plan to stick with that. I have no allergies. I’ve cared for all ages and sizes of cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, and probably a few other species that aren’t coming to mind at the moment. About: I will give your dog(s) my undivided attention. They will be fed and taken for walks. I will engage with them throughout the day, as I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I will care for them just like they were my own pet. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how much they mean to their families. In case of an emergency at home or work, I will provide the necessary care for your dogs. I have a unique bond with every dog I meet and truly enjoy their company, ensuring they receive plenty of affection. In the past, I have cared for my family's dogs, feeding and walking them nearly every day. I am knowledgeable about how to handle dogs safely. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to dog-sit and walk the dogs entrusted to my care. Pet caring is one of my passion because they bring so much joy to our lives. With this being said after work I do appreciate the love my fur babies give me. I love to play and run with fur babies and I also get my weekly exercise in! I have a yard that they can run freely in. They will have access to my balcony for when they need cooling and some quiet.

About: I have had cats since I was born! I have many years of experience and consider myself well versed when it comes to kitties. I have taken care of many cats in my lifetime and am comfortable with all personalities and needs. Even "difficult" kitties become my friend in no time. I currently have 5 cats, two who have medical needs. Time and experience has helped me become knowledgeable in taking care of cats who may require special care such as medicine administration and senior needs. I work full time as a medical assistant and I am also a licensed massage therapist. Compassion and attention to detail come naturally to me! I provide stress free care for your pets while you're away. I currently work full time, Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm. I can do after work drop ins/feedings on the weekdays. About: I love dogs so much that I adopted a puppy for my dog, who I could tell wanted a friend. I am known to spend all day with my dogs taking them out on doggie dates. We often visit others at the pet store or at the dog park. My older dog loves to run and loves to meet other dogs. My youngest is an adventurer. I have been in a dog-friendly home since I was 9. Cared for my great grandmother at an early age and my first dog as well. I believe that paying attention to your dog is one way to learn from them about what they need. So you can give them the life they can love. Training-wise, I believe in positive reinforcement and the repetition of rewarding good behavior. I work full-time at home M-F, off weekends. My fianceé is home during the afternoon (and will be after COVID) and nights. His work schedule is mornings, off M-W. This makes us uniquely flexible to meet your needs. Our house is a one-story. So you do not need to worry about stairs. We live in a wooded community away from heavy traffic. We have dog runners, which allow the dog to roam outside at his or her own pace while supervised. We live near a dog park that is well-maintained and has separated fences for small or large size dogs. We have a puppy called Dudley and an adult dog named Duke at home that are very friendly and well socilaized. Dudley's favorite game is tug of war. Duke loves to run, meet dog buddies, and eat his bones.

About: My wife and I are long-time cat and dog owners who live locally here in the Pocono Mountains, who will care for your guy or gal as if they were our own. About: I am very loving and attentive. I treat all fur babies like family. I have very regularly sat dogs for approximately the past two years. I don't go out and do much and during school season I do it all online. I am constantly home, the only time I am definitely gone during the week is Sundays for church and Wednesday nights for church activities. I have a fenced in back yard and if we are elsewhere they will always be leashed. The fur babies are constantly supervised. I will treat your babies as if they where my own.

About: I am a small private English bulldog breeder who loves animals and enjoys caring for my puppies after they have gone to their new home. my 21-year-old son and I work as a team in our home and offer great care for your pet.
