Casey was wonderful with our two dogs! She was not just helpful but also extremely caring and respectful. Our older dachshund requires a bit more attention and Casey was so patient with him. She sent us timely updates and lots of photos during her visits and we could tell how comfortable they both were with her. She was great to communicate with and really put our minds at ease while being away from our dogs. We cannot recommend Casey enough and would love to have her come see the boys again soon!

About: Hi there! Animals have always been an important part of my life. I have two Catahoula/Pitbull mixes and 4 cats. I also have been fostering for a local rescue since 2019. I have a flexible schedule and will go out of my way to accommodate your needs. I have experience with administering medications and treatments to special needs animals and have a large fenced in backyard for lots of room to run! *All dogs will be crated when unsupervised*. If your dog is not crate trained or is uncomfortable in a crate, this may not be a good fit. I have worked through years of training with our dogs and have experience dealing with fearful and reactive dogs. In my spare time I enjoy walking our dogs and continuing training with them. I strongly believe animals should be treated with the same amount of love, respect and compassion as a person. In my home, our pets are family! I will go to great lengths to ensure your pet is as comfortable and happy as possible and treated as part of the family! Any questions, please feel free to reach out! I can be available for last minutes needs whether it’s stopping by for potty breaks and feeding or boarding over a long period of time. I have a fenced in yard and have fur babies to keep yours company! I have experience administering medications and understand how hard it can be leaving your pets while on vacation or while at work. All pets have different needs and I’m willing to work with you to ensure their happiness.

About: I am an experienced dog groomer who worked at Petline Grooming for 1.5 years. I have experience with puppies all the way up to senior dogs of all breeds and sizes of all temperaments/behaviors. I have lived with 3 dogs throughout my entire life. Since I was old enough to be independent, I was helping to feed and take out my dogs. More than that I love to make sure my dogs are properly enriched by taking them on daily walks and investing in new toys for them. I am an animal lover who would love to take care of your pets! I have lots of availability and plan on doing pet care full-time for the time being. I am available most weekdays and some weekends. I have access to a partially fenced in yard and multiple leashes and crates. At my house, I currently have a friendly dog who will keep your dog company. I am willing to take on any specific or special requests to ensure your pet is most cared for and loved properly!

They deserve the best care which I can give them. I adapt fast to any type of personality. Dogs just like humans have their own unique personalities. I’m currently back from college and I have plenty of time to take care of your babies. I currently am looking for a part-time job which still leaves me with a lot of time to look after your pups. I have one friendly Pekingese, who can keep your dog company if needed. I will always make sure to clean up after the pups. I will always leave your home the same way it was when I arrived

Maddie was dependable, reliable, and 100% trustworthy. She showered the cats with care, attention, and affection. I was such a relief to me, being away from home, knowing that Maddie was checking in with the cats every day, sending pictures and updating me on their well being. She's a wonderful animal caretaker.

About: A caring and compassionate animal caretaker, familiar with puppy training as well as senior animals, but I specialize in the care of special needs animals. Currently I have about 50 families whose animals I care for periodically… and I love every second of it! I do overnight boarding and day care in my home plus drop-in care in yours. Your pet will get high quality care as if they were my own. I do not kennel animals unless asked to, all pets roam freely unless discussed. They get to treat my home like their home! With an extensive background in dogs, my childhood was spent around my family who trained working German Shepherds who went on to the Military and Police force. We were on a farm and always had at least 10 dogs at home growing up and even more barn cats. I’m comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats and am familiar with animal behaviors and safety. I’ve worked for shelters and have rescued and fostered many fur babies over the years. Rest assured, booking with me your pet will be in the best care possible! I am a stay at home mom so I have all day free for pet sitting and am very flexible! Whenever you need me, I can definitely make myself available! I have a fenced in yard with a friendly young golden retriever and tabby cat who are all pet friendly. My house is baby proofed, puppy proofed and very safe for all fur babies! I always use a leash and practice safe pet care at all times. I’ll treat your fur baby as if it was my own with the best possible treatment and love.

About: My family has owned a pet sitting business in Stroudsburg, called IOU Pet Care, for 15+ years. The first job I ever had was going to people’s homes and walking their pups for an hour, checking food and water bowls as well as litter boxes, or even staying the night there. For the past 15 years, since I was 15 years old, I’ve cared for almost every species of house pet you can think of, in just about every way that the owners needed. I genuinely love animals. Playing with them, training them, caring for them, it’s such a rewarding experience for both of us. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own, and they make my life so much better. I’m always building cat walls and catios, new interactive toys for the dogs, and whatever else I can do to give them all the best lives they could possibly have. When working with my family’s business, it’s always been “customized pet care needs.” I plan to stick with that. I have no allergies. I’ve cared for all ages and sizes of cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters, and probably a few other species that aren’t coming to mind at the moment. I can walk, hike, run, feed, clean up after, and administer some medication to a vast majority of your pets. Let me know what you’re looking for, and as long as I can do it, I will!

About: I’ve grown up my whole life with tons of animals. Friends always said “you live in a zoo!” I have 4 dogs of my own. I have 3 horses. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13. I’ve trained tons of dogs and try my best to accommodate everyone’s dogs/animals. I live on a farm and am working on getting a fenced yard I do have a HUGE indoor riding arena that I let all the puppies run to their hearts content. I have tons of love to give. I love animals like they are my own. I would love to have more animals so this is my way of doing that without actually owning more. Puppies all the way to senior dogs. If they need space I have different spaces they can be set up in. I prefer if you bring your dogs crate if they have one so they have their own space as they get nervous. If you are like me and worry about your furry friends throughout the day I have no problems texting and sending picstures! I’m a stay at home mom! So other then family needs and errands that have to be ran. I’m home! I’m here to ensure your baby gets the care he/she gets I live on a 15 acre farm. My dogs roam my property but I usually either walk dogs or I have a indoor/outdoor potty area. We also have a pool

Ashley is a wonderful pet sitter; both dependable and trustworthy. You can tell she loves animals, spending time during visits not just feeding them, but actually giving the pets love and attention. During my time away, she kept me up to date on the cats' status and sent a lot of photos of the cats being cared for.

About: I have shared with dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I volunteered at a foundation offering my home temporarily for some unprotected animals for 1 year. I have experience with dogs that have special needs such as senior dogs, dogs with disabilities and those with medical issues. Friends, neighbors and relatives have trusted me to walk, bathe and take care of their pets. My number one concern is safety with all animals and to give you peace of mind when in my care. Communication is key. When your fur baby is under my wing, I always provide daily updates so you can be kept in the loop. I’m happy to take notes on anything you need to know, and will of course include tons of great pics so you can see just how much fun we’re having together! I speak Spanish and English, I'm sure we'll get along great! I will be happy to meet you and your pet. I currently have full availability and a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and love to your pet. I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Whether you need daily care, drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays, I would be more than happy to accommodate your needs and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Your pet deserves more than just a sitter — they deserve loving, personalized care in the comfort of their own home. I treat every pet like family, providing plenty of playtime, cuddles, structured routines, and attentive supervision. You will receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your furry companion is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. My goal is for your pet to feel loved and secure while you’re away — and for you to have total peace of mind.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Pen Argyl with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
