About: I’ve dog sit for many family friends, old teachers, neighbors through my life and it’s safe to say I do a good job if they come asking for more. I’ve sit senior dogs before so I know all the things that go into keeping them happy and healthy. I have a cat and dog of my own and have raised them from a puppy and kitten until now and only provide best possible care for my babies because they deserve it! I currently am unemployed so I have all the time in the world to take care of any pets who need it. About: I have my own dachshund that I take care of on a daily basis but also have 3 other family dogs tha range from a dachshund to a german shepherd. I’ve always helped taken care of the family dogs growing up. I work 3 times a week and have school but my schedule is very flexible and I can adjust it around based on what I have going on. Any pet in my home that’s not mine would be treated like my own pets. They would be taken care of all the time. The same would apply in someone else’s home. I would follow a schedule feeding and letting the pets out just like I do with my own.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old. Which has lead me into the field of being a veterinarian technician. Which I have been doing going on 6 years now. Now looking for another aspect of the vet field of helping your fur baby or babies. I do work full time but have Friday-sunday off as my regular schedule. So I'm fully available to take care or stay overnight for pet care for those quick weekend getaways. I'm very aware of anything a pet maybe going through with my certification as a veterinarian technician . I'm very aware of how to give meds and etc.
About: I’ve taken care of multiple different dogs, and cats at once. I’ve worked with elderly dogs and dogs who have needed medication as well. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
