“Naomi is fantastic. She took amazing care of my sweet baby, Izzy, and it was clear Izzy absolutely loved her. Izzy is a Cane Corso, and Naomi handled her with confidence and care. I felt completely comfortable knowing Izzy was in such good hands. I will definitely be using Naomi again!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Nancy took amazing care of our four kitties—including our senior cat who requires daily medication and another who’s indoor-outdoor and a bit of a free spirit. They made sure everyone was well cared for, happy, and safe. We came home to relaxed, content cats and a spotless house, which was such a gift. The peace of mind we had while we were away was priceless. Highly recommend!”

“She was so nice and attentive to our babies. Very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Will definitely use her services again. She was able to get pictures as well. Very pleased especially for our first time ever using the service. Great Experience ❤️”

“Amanda is phenomenal. From communication to care, she is exceptional. She took extra time to meet our furry family before we left and assure that any special needs were met. She went above to provide both love and play. We are truly grateful for her care!”

About: I have my own dachshund that I take care of on a daily basis but also have 3 other family dogs tha range from a dachshund to a german shepherd. I’ve always helped taken care of the family dogs growing up. I work 3 times a week and have school but my schedule is very flexible and I can adjust it around based on what I have going on. Any pet in my home that’s not mine would be treated like my own pets. They would be taken care of all the time. The same would apply in someone else’s home. I would follow a schedule feeding and letting the pets out just like I do with my own.
About: Greetings, I am Obadina and I am a graduate of AK9i as a patrol Detection K9 handler and trainer. I went to Tennessee State for Animal Science Pre Veterinary Medicine where I learned animal husbandry. I used that experience to go on to be a vet tech as well as a pet bather and trainer. I am current K9 detection dog handler and trainer. I have experience with high drive dogs as well as nervous dogs and puppies. I can work with any and every dog, from fearful to aggressive. I also offer DeShed nail care and bathing services. DeShed services is when I remove the shedding undercoat that comes out usually during the change of seasons. It prevents mats and painful tangles which not only can relive pain and odor, but also keeps them cool during the warm summer months. It’s a very good alternative to shaving, which actually makes them hotter because their fur keeps the sun off of them . Animal Husbandry is my profession as a K9 handler. Your dogs will be treated like assets they are. It’s an hourly routine as animals respond to predictability which lowers stress levels which leads to better boarding experiences. Your asset will be housed in a climate controlled dry lockable indoor kennel run facility with a fenced in secured play area that’s easy to clean and plenty of storage for your pets supplies.
About: I have always been very good with animals ever since I was little. I like animals more than humans so I promise to take care of your pet like it is my own. I have volunteered at the Human Society and I am going to college to work with animals so I would love to care for your pet to gain more experience. I am currently home from college so I am free all day, Monday through Friday. Then starting in August I will be home Friday through Sunday. I have an unfenced yard but plenty of yard for them to run around and I have a in ground runner that they can be put on for some freedom. I also have two fur babies to keep your fur baby company but they can always be kept separate if needed.
About: I have cared for dogs, cats, farm, and exotic animals my whole life. Whether they are senior, young, large, or small, they will be taken care of. I’m a part time educator looking to fill my extra hours taking care of your fur babies. Animals and kids have always been my passion so why not do both. I have lots of energy and patience to keep up with your animals care requirement's. Even on my days as an educator, I take long breaks to ensure my animals have enough one on one time.
“Mateo was so wonderful with our dogs! He handled all 4 like a pro, even the little one that is blind and requires insulin injections after each meal. We will definitely be calling him back for all our petsitting needs!”

“Great sitter who does a great job with animals big and small. John has watched our dogs, cats, bird, chickens, and box turtle. He’s even taken care of our flowers & plants. Highly recommend! Our pets love him. :)”

“Christi did a very good job. I also like the fact that she lives in the area. Niko seemed to really like her and my home was immaculate when I came back Niko was very happy to see me, but it was good to know someone was taking good care of him. I will use Christi again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 from friends and family, I’ve always loved dogs, but my parents weren’t really a fan of them, now that I move in to my own house, that has plenty of space for dogs to run and play I’d love to take care of your pets as if they were my own I’m a stay at home mom of 2 girls and 1 baby boy, I’m all day at home almost every single day of the week I have a fenced yard, my backyard it’s kind of unusual, it’s like a double fenced yard, one for my house and behind that is another fenced yard for my husbands horses, so if you’d like your dog to have some kind of farm experience they can be on both yards, but if you preferred for your dog to stay away from the horses that can be too
About: Hi! I am on rover because I absolutely love dogs. I have my own fur baby that is absolutely the best. I work full time- banker hours, so I am really looking to watch pets on the weekends and love on them while you are away but I am also out and about all day everyday and can drop in whenever needed, as that is what I do for my own dog. I have grown up with pets my whole life and I have been pet sitting for a long time coming. They are always treated as my own, and I can make sure they do all of the things they love in my care! I can't wait to meet your babies. Thank you! I work full time in real estate, so my schedule is flexible. I am always out and about and can play and walk the pets whenever needed during the work week! “Jillian was my saving grace!! I had planned to leave my old mastiff at the boarders when I went out of town but he didn’t like his meet and greet at all! So I thankfully discovered Rover and Jillian. I was able to leave him at home where he’s most comfortable. Jillian and Otis got along great. She gave him his daily meds and treats and even sent me pics. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
