“I was skeptical to use Rover, but I had to make last-minute travel plans and my regular pet sitter was unavailable so I decided to give it a try. I was also afraid that nobody was going to want to take care of my eight dogs (mostly senior and special needs) and one cat. I contacted Amber and described all of my pets and their special needs, and she was up for the challenge. She even shared pictures and stories of her own babies to make me feel more at ease. Leaving six dogs over the age of 12, two special needs Frenchies (one deaf and one paralyzed), and one 17-year-old cat in the care of a stranger was very difficult for me to do. Upon meeting Amber, however, I was quickly put at ease. My animals immediately took to her and I could tell she was a kind, calm, gentle soul, which made leaving them easier. Amber handled all of my babies with extreme care and even read and followed my many, many pages of instructions. When she had questions, she texted or called me just like I asked. She took on the challenge of my paralyzed Frenchie like a pro - and it's not an easy job. She had to express her bladder every several hours, change her diaper, give her baths, carry her around, and give her lots of snuggles! She administered medications to my animals and gave them the various types of different food they eat. I came home to a happy, healthy crew of animals - and a new friend! I'm so happy I chose Amber and that she "chose" us. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again!”

She kept her at her house for the weekend while I was out of town. Chloe came back, excited, clean, healthy, and happy. Kaylea paid special attention to Chloe, even allowing her to sleep in her bed, which is where Chloe is used to sleeping at my house in mine. My pitbull, Jug, has some serious separation anxiety issues; issues we weren't fully aware of either, since this was his first time being watched by someone outside the family. Catecha was absolutely amazing and seemed to understand Jug's delicate personality right away. She kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos, which helped put my mind at ease. Her communication was top-notch, always responsive and not afraid to ask questions. She left our home clean and tidy—a huge bonus to come home to after traveling! “Kira was EXCEPTIONAL and EXCEEDED my expectations in every way. She obviously loves animals and my four dogs absolutely loved her. They all vied for her attention and her positive energy satisfied their demands. She is more than just a dog "sitter." She engages and "plays" with the dogs and they love it. I was very detailed in my requests regarding their care and she was eager to know what I wanted and met their needs beautifully. I had to be gone for four days to visit a very sick friend going through a bone marrow transplant and it was such a blessing to know my dogs were in such trusting, professional, and capable hands. Kira also took great care of my parrot, Buddy. Kira keeps a smile on her face and is very kind and sweet. She communicated with me while I was away and sent pictures of my dogs enjoying themselves. I returned to a home that was as clean as I left it, with a freshly made bed. I will use Kira and only Kira, if she is available. I selfishly and with hesitation HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kira for anyone looking for a dogsitter, because I want to keep her schedule open for when I need her. :) She is definitely a 10/10.”

I have taken dogs for walks, overnight care, administer medication, follow feeding times and making sure that the fur babies are well taken care of. I have a flexible schedule. I can spend most of my time taking care of your dogs. I am available Friday evenings through Sunday nights. About: I have a farm-style ranch home with lots of space and love for your fur babies. I can comfortably fit about 5 dogs or cats in the home. I don’t mind them being inside or outside. I do have a fenced in back yard and I can offer them lots of adventure and fun since I stay home full time. I have two daughters who love pets and two dogs (one medium size & one large). About: Hi, my name is Ashley, and I am a middle school educator. Outside of teaching and working with students, I have a huge love for dogs. I have three family dogs, two girls and one boy, and I truly enjoy each of their unique personalities. Funny enough, my boy dog’s birthday is the day before mine, so I always joke that we have the same personality! I have always been the type of person who instantly notices dogs wherever I go. Whether I’m walking around town or traveling on vacation, I’m usually the one saying, “Oh my gosh, look at that dog! I want to go pet them!” I even find myself feeling emotional when I see stray dogs because I wish every dog had a loving home. Animals bring so much joy, and being around dogs has always been something that makes me genuinely happy. I am currently a school teacher, so during summer break I have open availability and more flexibility to provide pet care throughout the day. Once the school year begins, my availability will mainly be during evenings throughout the week and on weekends. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I do my best to follow the care instructions provided by their owner.
