Routined day, down to feeding schedule, walks, bathroom breaks, etc. Followed by lots of TLC ! I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I ensure they have a clean, cozy space, stick to their usual feeding and exercise schedule, and provide plenty of attention and playtime. I’m attentive to any special instructions, such as medications or specific behavioral needs, and keep the environment secure and pet-friendly. My goal is to make them feel as relaxed and happy as possible, just like they would with their family.

“I was skeptical to use Rover, but I had to make last-minute travel plans and my regular pet sitter was unavailable so I decided to give it a try. I was also afraid that nobody was going to want to take care of my eight dogs (mostly senior and special needs) and one cat. I contacted Amber and described all of my pets and their special needs, and she was up for the challenge. She even shared pictures and stories of her own babies to make me feel more at ease. Leaving six dogs over the age of 12, two special needs Frenchies (one deaf and one paralyzed), and one 17-year-old cat in the care of a stranger was very difficult for me to do. Upon meeting Amber, however, I was quickly put at ease. My animals immediately took to her and I could tell she was a kind, calm, gentle soul, which made leaving them easier. Amber handled all of my babies with extreme care and even read and followed my many, many pages of instructions. When she had questions, she texted or called me just like I asked. She took on the challenge of my paralyzed Frenchie like a pro - and it's not an easy job. She had to express her bladder every several hours, change her diaper, give her baths, carry her around, and give her lots of snuggles! She administered medications to my animals and gave them the various types of different food they eat. I came home to a happy, healthy crew of animals - and a new friend! I'm so happy I chose Amber and that she "chose" us. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again!”

They all vied for her attention and her positive energy satisfied their demands. She is more than just a dog "sitter." She engages and "plays" with the dogs and they love it. I had to be gone for four days to visit a very sick friend going through a bone marrow transplant and it was such a blessing to know my dogs were in such trusting, professional, and capable hands. Kira also took great care of my parrot, Buddy. Kira keeps a smile on her face and is very kind and sweet. She communicated with me while I was away and sent pictures of my dogs enjoying themselves. I returned to a home that was as clean as I left it, with a freshly made bed. I will use Kira and only Kira, if she is available. I selfishly and with hesitation HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kira for anyone looking for a dogsitter, because I want to keep her schedule open for when I need her. :) She is definitely a 10/10.”

About: I have been raised with dogs all of my life and have many years experience caring for them. I have also worked a long side a professional trainer for three years to provide pups with basic training, exercise, and brain games! I am a part-time student looking to house sit, check in, or care for your beloved pet. About: Not only have I had my own dog since I was little, but I’ve dog sat for friends and family numerous times. I love getting to play with the dogs and it is one of my favorite things to do! I am a college student home for the summer so I have plenty of time to care for the dogs! I am able to care for them at any point. I have one small dog of my own so I have a ton of experience being around and caring for dogs. I give tons of bathroom breaks and love taking walks with the dogs.

“Hana stayed with our dog Rudy for 5 nights while we traveled overseas. Rudy is a rescue and has trouble trusting new people, so Hana came over twice before the stay to hang out with him, which was wonderful. As expected, Rudy took about 24 hours to get used to her, and Hana was understanding and calm about the situation. She also emailed me regularly to keep me updated of progress. We came home to a happy dog and a very clean apartment- she went above and beyond and we couldn't have been happier. I'm actually booking her again for the summer. ”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old. Which has lead me into the field of being a veterinarian technician. Which I have been doing going on 6 years now. Now looking for another aspect of the vet field of helping your fur baby or babies. I do work full time but have Friday-sunday off as my regular schedule.
